“I bought a beautiful mixed box of goodies for a colleague as a thank you when I had covid, which were to be delivered to her at work the next day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t clear on the delivery it would be delivered by DPD and I was alerted by them I would have to collect the parcel from my nearest pick up point- something I couldn’t do due to having covid. I contacted DPD who said they would be happy to change it to my work place but couldn’t because of the way C and S had filled out the delivery and put the name in the first line of the address. I alerted C and S who apologised and sent me a voucher to cover the costs. Unfortunately as the parcel didn’t even arrive at the pick up point until a week after the due date, having waited in a depot for 6 days and there was a 4 day shelf life on the goodies, there was little point in ordering them. I appreciate this was unfortunate but I would rather have had a refund as the whole point of ordering something lovely for someone, to be delivered to them was that I had covid and couldn’t go out and choose it myself. After my experience I don’t really feel I want to order anything else. It’s a shame as they did look beautiful!”

“Packaging was solid and cake was intact. However the icing was hardened and the use by date was only 4/5 days I love this cake normally buying fresh but not having a good experience ordering online especially with £6 postage”

“Received as part of our baby and bump package. Personally not worth the money. You do get a lot, but ended up throwing quite a lot away. One in our group followed your instructions and put their cakes in the fridge and they just went hard and we had to put their brownies in the oven. Lemon cake was average and sweet. Scones were fine. A lot of packaging...”

“My order was supposed to be with me by 4pm it arrived at 7:15 pm. By that time the ice pack was warm and my biskies were basically melting. Very disappointing.”

“I had been warned that the cake would be small but when I saw just how small I was shocked. I confess it tasted fantastic but it was really tiny. Far too small for what it cost. Aside from that the courier that delivered it was appallingly unprofessional. They left the cake on our doorstep with no notification, our house is on a fairly busy road. I made a small complaint to them directly and received a very passive aggressive message in response. I would advise finding a better courier service. Of course you seem to be doing fine without my opinions so feel free to ignore my grumbling and carry on as you were. The cake did taste fantastic though.”

“Delivered on time as promised, however the cake was Very dry. In addition, not only was the cake delivered in a box that wasn't sealed and had openings exposing it to the air, but the box lid was loose and the delivery driver removed the lid to show me the cake. In my opinion unhygenic practices. Such a shame for a cake that showed pitential.”

“Our gluten-free summer berry cake tasted as delicious as ever, however, sadly, the cardboard cover had descended onto the icing (presumably being tipped upside down and/or shaken en route) which made the presentation at the birthday party rather disappointing! Trying to rate the cake therefore is difficult and varies between 5 for the taste and 1 for presentation.”

“Very underwhelming. The scones were crumbly, the clotted cream was a horrible texture, the lemon drizzle was just pure icing, only thing that was nice was the brownie. Really disappointing for what it was. Shame- expected better from such a company.”
