The last time we ordered (Mar 2022) we received a very stale cake. The quality was not at all what we would usually associate with cutter & squidge. The cake didn't have the taste of a freshly made one.

After seeing the great reviews for this company and the cake I was expecting something amazing. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed. I paid for a delivery slot between 8am and 12pm that was missed. When I tried to speak to someone I was in a queue for 40 mins until I gave up. The cake was overly sweet. What I thought was chocolate butter cream on the top was the consistency of marshmallow and disgusting. The sponge was the only edible bit. It was honestly one of the worst vegan cakes we have had and after a slice each nobody ate anymore and it ended up in the bin.

Experience was awful. 1st/2nd time I paid £10 for morning delivery (to an office) attempted delivery at 8pm on both occasions (obviously closed). Subsequently told I would have to be re-charged for redelivery! Subsequently customer service apologised and said it would be re-delivered. Then I heard nothing for a week or so, until I got back in touch! They apologised again said the order had been lost and they would rearrange delivery. I still dont know if this has happened, weeks later.

Hello, I've ordered from Cutter and Squidge before (often buying cakes directly in store from your Soho branch) but this was the first cake I ordered online and in all honesty we were very disappointed so probably would never order with them again or risk recommending. The sponge itself was very bland, dry and compacted and the icing on top was very strange, was almost foamy. Over half the cake was left at the event and ended up going in the bin as no one wanted to take any which was a huge waste and disappointment as it was meant to be the centre piece of the event.

I ordered these items for a birthday celebration. I should have just gone to Tesco’s or M&S and bought the little brownies in the tub. These were the most unpalatable brownies and cookies I’ve ever tried. They were not fresh - probably cooked at least a month before. Nor were they tasty. Complete and utter let down. My advice - go elsewhere. Delivery time kept changing on the day too. Would say a time and then change about a minute before it was due. Arrived on time but their delivery window is much longer than other companies. When you order cookies you don’t want them at 9pm or later for an event. I won’t be using Cutter and Squidge again. (Delivery window was over 14 hours if I remember correctly)

The vegan afternoon tea was very disappointing. The scones crumbled, they were almost impossible to eat as wouldn’t stay together, definitely couldn’t spread the cream or jam on them. The brownies were entirely stuck to the packet and also not very easy to eat. Won’t be buying again.

So very sad to have to write this because we have had Brownies from these guys before, and they have been great. These ones (Vegan) were very dry and tasted of the box, which was weird! Not worth the money and the high postage charge I feel is rather cheeky

Delivery didn’t arrive on selected date, and I did not hear from management that it would be late. After reaching out, I got an excuse for it being a busy holiday (yes, that’s exactly why I ordered from this company as they claimed to deliver on Valentine’s Day), and they offered me a gift certificate over the only appropriate remedy - a full refund, as I would not have ordered in the first place had they not offered delivery on Valentine’s Day. The treats themselves were tasty according to the receiver but not anything to right home about compared to other delivery services I’ve used in the past 3 years since I started sending treats to my partner for special occasions.

Numerous issues with ordering on the website - response was to sort it yourself. Very expensive postage considering how small the cakes are when they arrive. Only person who was good was the delivery driver.

I ordered cale 3 times and I can honestly say its the worst cake I have ever had..3 different cakes 3 different times with the same results I really can't recommend it at all.the cake in asda is a lot nicer. Save your money.

Poor quality ingredients equates to poor quality cakes coupled with poorer customer service. Cutter and Squidge should give refunds and stop sending out vouchers instead!! This pathetic company is out to get your money and does not care about you. Dare to put this review on your website losers?

Gift I ordered from overseas was never received by recipient. When I contacted customer service they pretty much said “oops nothing we can do for you”. Very disappointing considering it was my first time ordering. Chose a local place as I placed order from the US hoping it would be more secure and alas that was not the case.

My cake came damaged. Not worth it what i paid for. It created a huge panic for me and my Husband to get a broken wedding cake. Thanks to our wedding event manager who sorted everything. I would not recommend this to anyone. Highly dissatisfied !!
