I ordered some flowers to be delivered whilst I was out of the country for an anniversary. Having paid £5 for delivery before 12pm on a specific day, the flowers were attempted to be delivered the day before that, which meant that no one was there to receive them as I had instructed the recipient to be in for the specific time I had paid for them to be delivered. Because of this mistake, the flowers were not delivered until 3pm on the day they were supposed to arrive meaning that the recipient had to cancel plans for her day to wait in for them. On top of this, Debenhams ensure that their flowers stay fresh for 'at least 7 days or your money back', however I received photos of the flowers half dead only 3 days after the recipient had received them. I have filed a complaint asking for my money back over a week ago due to the terrible service received and have had no response since sending the photos of the flowers as evidence. I will not be using Debenhams flowers again.

Ordered flowers, wine and chocolate for my mother for Xmas, she received the flowers but not the wine or chocolate, I only knew that had only part of the ordered was delivered once I asked if she had received everything. Phoned debenhams but it was too late to Xmas for the missing items to be delivered so they offered a refund for the items not delivered. Asked if I could speak to a manger but was told the manger are not authorised to do anything other than than a refund, overall disappointed as it was a Xmas gift.

Very disappointed with the flowers, definitely weren't worth the money. They were sent to parents before Christmas and they were not good at all.

Both bunches I ordered arrived wilted and the roses were dead,complete waste of money would have been better getting flowers from a local supermarket. Bought as Xmas presents and caused embarrassment to myself and the recipients,only got a refund for one bunch. Will not be buying ffrom debenhams flowers ever again.

Flowers were sub par, stems were broken and flowers past their best. I made a complaint via email but got no response... I would not recommend Debenhams flowers, you will get better flowers and service from your local supermarket.

sent some flowers for my family in London for Christmas the spelling on the card was all wrong the flowers was left with a neighbor who did bring them round until 2 days later the flowers was dead . phone debenhams customer services they said this is a add on to there business so there nothing they can do but they ring me back they never did waste of £30.00

I ordered a £50 bouquet of Christmas flowers for my parents and the only positive thing was that delivery was on time. The bouquet was much smaller than I anticipated, the roses lasted one day and most of the foliage was dead within 2 days. I always buy flowers from my local florist but I was on holiday and it was a last minute gift to cheer my mum up as my dad had been admitted to hospital. Not worth the money, could get a much better bouquet from a supermarket for a fraction of the price.

WARNING: ONLY pay by PayPal and don’t hesitate to use PayPal’s claims process to get your money back when Debenhams fail to deliver what you ordered. First and last order. Never again. Awful experience. Ordered online two months ago, well in time for my mother’s 75th birthday on 21st December. The flowers didn’t arrive. She was at home all day waiting for them. They had still not arrived by the next day – not that that mattered – my mother’s birthday is 21st December and no other day and flowers arriving after her birthday are pointless. Thank God I paid by PayPal. When the tracking showed that they still hadn’t been delivered by 10 am the following day I put in a claim via PayPal’s Resolution Centre and after a few days I got a refund of all my money - thanks to PayPal, I might add, not thanks to Debenhams. No coms from Debenhams, except the standard email acknowledgement of order. No coms from them since, even with a claim raised against them. Truly appalling customer service. It just goes to show you how much they value your custom. They despise you. I wish I’d read all the negative comments about this company on all the review sites before entrusting my mother’s 75th birthday flowers to them. I will NEVER make the same mistake again and I urge anyone thinking about ordering flowers from here for delivery to PLEASE DON’T. If you’re tempted, at all, in any way, pay by PayPal to be sure of your money back when Debenhams fail to complete the contract, and don’t expect anything resembling a service from them. The company gives the appearance of being run out of someone’s back bedroom. Don’t hesitate to make a claim when they don’t hold up their side of the contract. These people need to learn that this is not the way to run a flower delivery business, and they will only learn that if everyone who has received dreadful service from them puts in claims against them and takes to social media with a bad review. Pay by PayPal only – it’s the best way to get your money back when things go wrong. In summary, an awful experience with this company. Nothing but disappointment. Please don’t put yourself through the hassle of ever ordering from here. Go somewhere trustworthy and capable when it comes to something as special as flowers for delivery. This company is anything but trustworthy or capable. I wouldn’t trust them to sit the right way on a lavatory seat.

I ordered flowers for my best friend's birthday on 7 December. These were not delivered. As she did not ring to thank me for them I rang her on 11 Dec and I had to ask if she liked her flowers. Had I not asked her I would never have known they had not been delivered. I contacted you by phone to complain and you then sent the flowers on 12 December, as I only have a mobile phone the call cost me £2.50 which I cannot afford. At the same time that I ordered these flowers I ordered a 2nd bouquet to be delivered to a friend for 18th December, to 44 St. Austell avenue Heald Green . The friend has not acknowledged them so still wonder if they were ever delivered. I will not be using your service again. Christine Taylor 07955950564

My girlfriend received her flowers at work just about as they where delivered before 10 am And I payed extra for after 2pm delivery. And plus after just one day the roses have died. Not very happy at all bad delivery and poor quality.

Not very impressed by the service or communications. Most of the orders were not delivered on the requested days and where I had ordered 5 or 6 hampers to go to a company these were delivered over several days which caused a bit of embarrassment . I had email notification on some of the deliveries but not on others so short of phoning my client to see if they received them I am still not sure that all the hampers were sent out I phoned the customer services a couple of times but they were not very helpful. I will not be using Debenham's Flowers next year.

Thank you for reminding me to contact you as the flowers never arrived. I received an email on the morning of the day due to say that they had not arrived with DPD and so would not be delivered. I made alternative arrangements and require a refund.

Very Dissapointed Paid extra for specified day of delivery. Not delivered on stated day . Very poor display. Small and mainly foliage. lasted five days till what blooms there were drooped and died off. Will not be using this service again .

The money was taken 3 weeks in advance and I was emailed 2 dispatch notes to say the hampers were on their way. One arrived late the other not at all. The explanation was disgraceful . Even though I choose a delivery date they deliver when they can, it's in their terms and conditions which I think is misleading. The second hamper they ran out off which of course I didn't know until after Christmas because they said it had been dispatched . Also misleading. Their attempts to put it right were feeble . Never again Debenhams!

The quality and size of flowers were not very good for a £50 arrangement. The roses have died long before the Lilly's even opened. I wouldn't buy this product again, I was disappointed.
