“I ordered a dress and changed my mind a few minutes later after reading horrible reviews from others. I tried to cancel my order immediately but was told it was already processed. I then checked my bank account and saw that they had taken out the money immediately after I contacted them. I refused the package and saw that it was returned to the seller but DHGate now opened an investigation which I have to prove that I don't have the item. This company is a Chinese Foreign scam company which does not go by American ethics. You will never be able to return anything without a fight and they sell cheaply made products. The good reviews here??? All i can say is read the broken English. Fake reviews!!! I will be reporting them to the fair trades commission if I don't receive my refund.”

“my experience with this company is pretty good on the most part..i buy alot fo football, soccer, baseball and hockey jerseies and sweaters...i have few problems ive ordered over 1oo items and few a few have had some problems like too small or wrong number or wrong name and such nothing really to make a big fuss over....i got htose resolved but just this last time i had an experience where the item wasnt even sent i have a feeling they have some sort of fraudulent way of saying a package was delivered when it wasnt...the guy i bought from claims he delivered it wehn i cclearly didnt get it..and their customer service is horrible there is no buyer protection they side with the seller everytime no matter what they ask for proof of your claims....how am i suppose to prove i never received the item ? i mean seriously.....so that was one shady dealing i had on there of about 100 usually pretty postive but unless you can prove someone your claims you're out of luck and lose your money....ive gotten many hockey jersies that you'd pay 250 bucks for in a store around here for 50 dollars there so its hit and miss on items...will i buy from them again? after this experience idk i didnt get a refund for my unreceived item and to me shows they dont care about their buyers and whos to say this guy even sent the item at all and is just a scammer which i think he is and they did nothing about it...if thats whats out there i dont need it. alot fo the items arent as described either.”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THERE IS NO BUYER PROTECTION AND YOU ARE NOT PROTECTED IF YOU BUY FROM DHGATE. Customer service is poor and the sellers do not communicate properly not knowing what they’re selling”

“I ordered an umbrella on DHGate 08/01/2019. After many back and forth communications and trying to get information on the delivery (it was a birthday gift) and paying for expedited shipping, my item did not arrive. I did not even receive a shipping number until 08/07/2019 after I had complained. The shipping number never left China. I opened a dispute and the seller refused to refund my money until I changed the reason for the refund request (they did not have the item and told me that they could not get it but they wanted me to say to say that "Items not now required ’ or "concerned about customs seizure" rather than saying they did not have the item) And they continue to list the item on the website even though they do not have it. Contacted DHGate Customer service and a refund was supposedly granted on 08/15/2019. Got a second message on 08/20/2019 saying that the refund transaction had been completed (even though the previous message said that would happen within 2 days). It is now 09/09/2019 and I still have not received a refund to date. Messaged them again today. So.... we continue to wait. Be ware of ordering from this site for any substantial amount of money. Consequently, it is worth noting that a t-shirt I ordered for my daughter arrived without issue and was the perfect item. Buyer be ware.”

“Please be careful. I ordered five flower girl dresses for my wedding through DHGate. The seller was Manweisi. I've been given nothing but a pack of lies from them about why they haven't been delivered and countless times been told their on their way. It's been over a month now. Intially they said they were delivered and when I followed the tracking order it said they'd been delivered to the US and not Australia. I lodged a dispute only to be told the seller would send them last week through priority post at his expense. He told me it had left his factory that day and that I should have it within days. Contacted him three times asking for a tracking number. It still hasn't been provided. Just lodged another complaint with DHGate who have my money. They said they'd contact the seller to tell him to send it today. Seems nothing has been shipped at all. I've now requested a full refund however doubt I'll be paid. I'll definitely be making sure the public are aware of their activities if I don't receive my full refund by tomorrow. Very worried. When I googled DHGate and their seller Manweisi all I see is scam warnings! Be carefull everyone keep well clear of this company”

“Scammers. I ordered two things and cancelled within minutes after reading the reviews. They went and shipped my items anyway. When I received one of them, it was nothing like the description. The second order never arrived, I was given a fake tracking number. I went through hell to get my money back taking photos of everything. Worst experience EVER. if you want to deal with such a website, shop st wish. At least they don’t give you that hard of a time when it comes time for a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AND SCAMMERS.”

“The sellers list items they do not have - scam companies that don't exist with NO stock, no official business - impossible to contact and NO customer service. You lose your money and do not receive any merchandise. STAY AWAY.”

“In May I bought a guitar for my husband from Dhgate and it never arrived. Apparently, the seller didn't exist. My money has not been refunded into my bank account and I have been told that my refund has now been converted into award points that can not be used to buy.@dhgate”

“my nightmare with this scam company started when i placed 2 orders about 5 days apart. I received a p.o. number and a tracking number for each order. Tracking on the dhgate website leaves a lot to be desired....better to use "parcelsapp.com", they do a much better job. I live in LOUISIANA, USA. One order was delivered to an address in PORTSMOUTH, N.H., USA (this is about 1700 MILES from where I live). The second order was delivered to an address in COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, USA (this is about 1100 MILES from where I live). How could anything this stupid happen??? The ANSWER is that those were NOT tracking numbers assigned to my orders. I apparently was given two random numbers. I have sent messages to the sellers involved but have not received any replies and after this I really do not expect to. ( YOU MIGHT WANT TO AVOID THESE SELLERS---belt1997 AND yubi188----a.k.a. crooks and liers, in my opinion) I then sent a message to dhgate today explaining this horrid situation with 2 different sellers(they may be the SAME SELLER using different names...who knows?) and am waiting for a reply....answered within 24 hours, they say. I do doubt that however. In my opinion, based on my dhgate experience, dhgate if full of liars, cheats, crooks and con men. My recommendation would be, if you value your money, would be to avoid dhgate like the Great Plague . Maybe I am just unlucky...they probably do send out a few orders just to keep a few suckers ordering from them. Ordering from dhgate is just like throwing your money in the trash. AVOID DHGATE and keep your money. Better to buy from ebay or amazon, a bit more expensive BUT you will get your order and customer service is first class....not like this scam website. Remember the old expression " A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED" it probably will not do any good but the order numbers are: 1) 3137774416 2) 3138786044 I can not wait to see their canned reply....what a joke!! update: it has now been about 24 hours and just as I figured I have NOT received a reply to my message...I guess the crooks are afraid to reply to honest customers. One star is too much for this website. TIME TO REMOVE THIS GARBAGE APP FROM MY PHONE”

“I ordered 5 different items spent over $1000 and weeks later all of them delivered to wrong addresses. Still fighting to get all my money back. Would not recommend any aspect of DHGate to anybody. My experience it is a scam.”

“If you're genuinely stupid enough to believe you're buying legit stuff on DHGate, I don't know what to tell you. I have never had a serious problem with these people, however I do not order electronics or things with high value. If you're after soccer jerseys, shirts, shoes, watches, etc. you should be fine. If you are dumb enough to think you're getting real stuff, a review won't save you. Bottom line: don't buy anything that, if real, would be worth more than 50$. It takes a while to arrive, but any and all jerseys i have ordered have been decent quality and a much better bargain than giving Nike $120 for a soccer shirt every season.”

“DHGATE AND DRESS STOP SHOULD GET OUT OF BUSINESS!! I ordered a dress in may and received it 3 weeks late and 2 sizes smaller. The seller needed proof that the size was wrong so I sent pictures to prove it. He agreed and asked to sent it back to his shop. My refund was supposed to be 126.40 plus 30 for shipping as agreed I mailed back the dress may 31 just 2 days after I received it with tracking number and photos of the actual Package finally he got it 10 days later. It's been 3 months of back and forth with DHGATE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT LEAST 4 times per week not for the money but the principal because they are promoting bad sellers to steal people's money. The seller first said the refund was issued and when I asked for proof that's when he stopped responding so I posted a bad review on his site. WELL HE ASKED SOMEONE TO TEXT ME ON WHATS UP AND START NEGOTIATING WITH ME to remove the REVEW after I get 40 as a down payment and then after it's removed I ll get the rest of my money. I took pictures of the conversation and I will post it soon for everyone to see how low people GO for money. DIANE WANG the founder of this scam and her company should go out of business........they can read what the seller buyer chat says and still they told me to REMOVE THE BAD REVIEW WHICH WAS POSTED 3 MONTHS LATER AND THEN I LL MAYBE GET MY REFUND ....YOU READ RIGHT THEY DO NOT WANT BAD REVIEWS ALL THEY WANT IS TO STEAL YOUR MONEY STAY AWAY STAY FAR AWAY AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT LET ME KNOW BECAUSE THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE IN BUSINESS. They are THIEVES. OPEN PEOPLES EYES AND PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN”

“Ordered a product and the color and quality were horrible. When I tried to return it, the process was impossible to negotiate and they said I failed to comply. I tried to contest it with the credit card company, but that was unsuccessful so because of DHGate, I cancelled my credit card without paying for this junk. I really didn't want to do that, so now it will go against my credit but oh well. Thanks DHGate”

“User 2014 send order number 3133752739. I received a failed item. I opened a dispute. In agreement with the seller, I returned the item at my expense (over $ 50). I have a delivery receipt signed by the seller. The seller says he did not receive the item. Customer service gives me no answer or solution. He answers me with vague and evasive answers. Double damage. I am without the item without the money I spent to buy it. Bad service. Little seriousness.”

“I ordered a wedding dress from Magicweddingdress. It was completely defective. The seller (magicweddindress) asked me to send it back at my expense and they would refund me the cost of the dress and the postage. It has been over 2 months that they have the dress back and I have not seen the refund. DH Gate has gotten involved and all they say is "we have contacted the seller. Please give us 48 hours for them to respond." They have done this 5 times. They clearly support their seller's above their customer's. Even though I was told by a representative in May that if the seller didn't issue the refund I would get the refund from DH Gate out of the seller's account. LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES. I am now trying to get the better business bureau to help me.”
