I ordered food one time using doordash and rating for service was 5 stars and then they go over and above by refunding my money for two months of subscription I had forgotten about thinking someone had tapped into my card spending 9.99 twice so I called them only concerned with the one $9.99 payments for I did not realize there were 2 $9.99 they had brought that to my attention all on there own when looking at my account claiming she would refund me for the two months of subscription due to I had not used their services and by rights I did subscribe for that cheaper cost at the time and had forgotten to cancel so my fault but they turned it into a pleasurable situation and now have a extra 20 in my pocket can't beat that and so thankful it was not a fraud situation as I had thought it might be at the beginning THANKS DOORDASH IN MY WORLD YOU ROCK 5☆

Door dash is horrible driver and customer service I will be using Uber eats anything but them they don't care about they customer and they driver be stilling food dropoff food at wrong location take a picture and go back and get it

I am tired of door dash messing up my order, or not delivering it correctly and then making me feel like it's my fault. On July 12 I ordered food a total cost of $96.53.The driver was given specific instructions not yo leave the food in the lobby and to deliver it to our door. Now I understand sometimes the elevator is busy and so they Callander I am happy to accommodate coming down to meet them, but in this case he did not even buzz in,entered the building somehow and left our food on the ground in the lobby. He did not inform us of the delivery and so after being over half hour late my husband went to the lobby to see if it was left there and sure enogh found our food on the floor in the lobby. The bag had been opened and a couple.of the items had the sauces leaked out onto the food and o e was the sauces with the desert. After putting informing door dash the automated system gave me a $5 credit, but it was more than just getting a credit so I took it further and let door dash know that this is unacceptable and not the first time food has just been left there despite being told not to do so. I then received an email from door dash apologizing and it stated that I would get a refund to my original payment including the tip, plus a $10 credit to my account. I felt that was nice of them, but still wanted to take a break from using the services. Almost a month has gone by and the $10 credit was issued right away, but my refund did not come. Yesterday I contacted the support services to inquire and they basically told me that the $5 credit was the resolution. I tried to explain, but nothing so I just ended the conversation. I the replied to the email I received from door dash and it came back with a response to contact the support for further assistance. Today I tried again, oh and both times yesterday and today I sent them a screen shot of the email from door dash, but again they said the $5 credit was the resolution. They then agreed to check with a supervisor who said they could only give me $20. Now originally this was not about money it was the lack of service provided and the mishandling of the food. I did not ask for a refund at any point,they offered it to me,so now I am also upset that not only did I not get the refund,I was made to feel I needed to prove my issue and it was like I did something wrong. This is just not okay. I received a $20 credit, but feel like it was given to me to shut me up and to leave them alone. I don't write reviews often, but this time I feel it is needed. A customer should not be treated like this and if there was a mistake made then just explain it do t make the customer out to be in the wrong. Take responsibility for your actions or in this case lack there of. I hope if anything this review helps door dash to handle these situations better.

I never blame the drivers. They literally get instructions to pick up and drop off. It is not their job to check food items. They're actually supposed to be sealed. It's up to the restaurant. It costs way more to have food delivered ,and restaurants actually mark up the cost. If DD can't assure the restaurant is doing it's job , it shouldn't be listed as an option. If you post a review and photo in the app, you can't view them, so no one else knows. Waste of time and money.

This app sucks. I've applied my gift card, created an order, but it won't allow or show how to complete the order. Every online help section shows what to do but Doordash still has the money and won't let me use it. YOU'RE A BUNCH OF THIEVES

Driver stole my food. DoorDash said they would block them from my future delivery’s but I feel like they would want to remove them as a driver. I feel like this is not a safe company to order threw and I would not recommend it.

Drivers should check the orders. Every time I order from them it's missing items. Never again !!!!!!

Charge for items not delivered, charge for tip beyond that authorized, absolutely zero customer support from an automated response system, utter contempt for the customer? What more could I possibly want? Previously a regular customer, but no more.

The food cost 15 USD and the total with delivery, tax and tip, cost me above 30 USD. Is this reasonable? The answer is NO.

They stole money from me. I ended up ordering food and never got it. They took my money and never gave me what was paid for. They never gave me my money back, they literally robbed me, and I’m tired of DoorDash causing problems and not doing anything about it. Doordash need to be sued !!!

The moment I set up my account I began receiving CONSTANT spam calls! DO USE DOOR DASH unless you want trash mail to show at you home, spam emails, constant spam calls, it is terrible! I immediately cancelled my account and went elsewhere. Terrible business model.

On my 1st order the promotion was 40% off up to $10. The app would not allow me to use the promotion so I called customer service. The guy said he would credit my account, he lied and now customer service says nothing they can do. I will not use this delivery service any longer! We have other options!

No sauce was delivered with our order, even the 2 sauces I paid for. One burrito was missing and no drink was delivered. That was bad, BUT it was door Dashed response that made me go out of my way to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND THE ORDER. Nothing happened, contact them again, oh we will get you a refund. NOTHING HAPPENED AGAIN. The 3rd time they said I would get a discount on my next 2 orders. God they are stupid. I VOW TO NEVER USE THESE LYING, SLIMEY CHEATS AGAIN.

I’ve been using door dash quite often for awhile now and tgg gf e convince is great, but they’ve made a recent change. If you need your delivery within the next hour it now costs $2.99. If you want to wait three hours it’s free. Why the change? Its expensive enough without the added fees. If you want to keep your customers then you need to make some positive changes.

Customer service is horrible. Lady just hung up on me because I asked how I can leave a review about the situation that just occurred. They took money out of my dasher direct card and said it will be credited back in 2 days. These people are horrible.

I ordered ice cream for a family member who lost their cat today. I thought it would be a nice surprise. The driver dropped it off at the wrong door. Door dash basically told me where to go and how to get there. Next time I’ll send flowers from a flower shop that I know can read addresses and will get there. Hope the stranger enjoyed the pint of ice cream they got today.

So I have had multiple issues with this company and am finally just decided to be done with them all around. I work at a restaurant where we get harrassing calls from them, trying to get us to sign up with them even though we have said no every time and explain why we choose not to. They frequently get really snarky about it when we tell them no. I've got quite a few friends who work in restaurants that use doordash and say that the third party communications of it all ends up causing a lot of problems. Now today my husband and I ordered burgers through doordash. My husband took a bite out of his first and it was COMPLETELY raw aside from the brown around the very outside of the burger. He was unable to eat his meal. I reached out to door dash and they were only willing to give me a $5 refund for a $17 burger that my husband couldn't even eat!

They feel like they can steal your money if you cancel due to order being extremely late. They pushed back my delivery time three times and claim they can’t due refunds. Then they offered me a refund but I had to use the credit within a hour they keep any unused money as if it’s not yours. canceled my account permanently.

Very bad customer service. Door dash never pay me my payment. They said some body hack to my acc . I thought door dash sell technology . Why this happen and they blame on me . And they try not to pay me.
