Prices are way too high. Restaurants do not care if they mess up. They always mess up my order or forget items. Even with proof I can’t get issued a refund. Cancel if you have it it’s not worth it. Customer service was also very rude on both the chat and the phone. Highly disappointed.

Its been over two weeks since I had to cancel my order as it was over two hours late, still no refund despite 5 messages/talks.

My order went through 3 different people before i received it. It’s been a whole 1 hour and half when it don’t take that long to get here.

Doordash stole money from me! I made a $31 order to a restaurant, doordash cancelled it then took my money... They only refunded a 1.35 service fee when I am owed 31 dollars. It was the last bit of my money to feed my child. I spoke to numerous agents and they denied giving me a refund. I spend tons of money here and they steal from me. I will never ever use them again!!! Thieves !!

Their drivers continue to screw up orders and now they refuse to refund. Apparently they have a limit on how many times you can complain…

Why would I use a DoorDash app to order for pickup? When I added my items to the cart and finished choosing, I went to the cart to schedule my order and select my address and choose the payment method. In a second it was confirmed and sent without me verifying anything.

I’ve been a loyal doordash customer for many years and a DashPass annual member. I’ve literally spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WITH THEM. Up until now, I could only say good things about doordash, which I’ve been a loyal customer of, as I mentioned, for MANY YEARS. But today all that changed with poor security and very very very rude and poor customer service. Let me explain: I received an email from Doordash that a change had been made to my email address and that if I was not the one who had changed it to change my password. Well, I had not changed my email, so I proceeded to attempt to change my password as suggested. Their password reset routine requires you to know the old password to create the new one. (An old and archaic routine by the way and not very secure) But since I’ve been with Doordash for so long, I didn’t remember my password. Also I noticed in my account the other fake email address. The problem is, there’s no way for me to remove the fake email. So I called customer support to assist and this set off a horrible series of events that resulted in this review and me deleting my account. Mind you, I have worked in IT and software development in various roles for decades, so I’m sensitive to how I’m treated in the process and what SHOULD have happened to prevent or correct this problem. DOORDASH FAILED MISERABLY. 1. They could not remove the fake email. 2. There was no way they could even help me to reset my account and preserve my DashPass, so once deleted, even though it’s paid for a year, you just lose it. No refund no nothing it’s just gone. 3. The first customer service rep whom I could barely understand, was rude to the point that she hung up the phone on me. She also sent the password reset instructions TO THE FAKE HACKERS EMAIL ADDRESS!! 4. Then I called back and no one was on the line. It was just dead air. Maybe a malfunction. 5. Someone called me back and said he would try to help, put me on hold and then hung up the phone after several minutes. Some very simple protocols should have gone in place to make this process easier and better. To send an email with no real way of helping your customer is absolutely in effective. Here’s what should have been done: Predicative and proactive measures: 1. Credential Rotation. It allows user access to be reassessed everytime the username email combination is challenged. Have customers change their password often so that they always have a new password and can’t forget it easily. A password from 5 years ago isn’t memorable. 2. Use 2-Factor Authentication so that it offers an opportunity to thwart hackers. This is an extra level of security that helps keep accounts safe. 3. Algorithm encryption using simple apps like Google Authenticator which produces a unique code in continuous intervals that sync with your servers. This way hackers are deterred from trying to compromise the account because you nor they know what the next code will be. 4. Password reset routine without using old password. Simply generate a temporary password, send to the email on file and then require the user to change the password from the temporary email upon login with the temporary password DOORDASH sent. 5. Use updates cyber security software, processes and protocols to detect and deter would be hackers. Compromise of user credit cards, addresses, emails, names, ssn, etc each come with HEFTY FINES. Subsequent measures AFTER account has been compromised: 1. Notify ALL DOORDASH USERS of a potential security breach. By law you have up to 45 days to notify all users. 2. Customer service needs tools to help, like password recovery techniques and systems. 3. Refunds for DashPass users. 4. Ongoing account monitoring for those hacked. Though I am no longer a customer, I do hope for the sake of others, this review helps Doordash to get their act together with better security measures and better customer service.

I ordered from what I thought was Mr. Beast Burger and come to find out Mr. Beast Burger doesn’t exist. How I found out part of my order was wrong and when I called the number under the listing for Mr. Beast Burger to complain about my order they asked me if it was the Taco Bell order and I wondered how they would be aware of another places order so I told them I wanted the direct number for the burger place so they gave me a number that doesn’t exist and I even said is this the direct number for the burger place and the guy said yes so he lied to me so I went on the internet and found out it was a scam so when I called back the first number and got a lady and she confirmed I was talking to DoorDash very bad customer service for not being truthful and I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office

Door Dash is a disappointment. The public is your customer, but when an order is wrong or delivered late, the standard response of Door Dash is "we can't offer a credit". When you are someone like me, that doesn't complain often about anything, that response is unacceptable. I've deleted the app and won't be using them again. Uber will get all of my business going forward.

Hi I live in nyc I'm always ordering from doordash some delivery are good some are bad like today I order McDonald's today for my special needs son and delivery was marked as delivered with my food left on the floor like some animal when it clearly states hand it to customer and not at the right apartment I call the dasher and he stated that was the right apartment and that was my problem call customer service with then proceeds to tell me that my refund or redelivery was denied do to to many complaints so I'm suppose to take a 30 dollar lost for the dasher making a mistake he had followed instructions the first time instead of leaving my food on the ground I'm beginning to dislike these food delivery apps I thinking about starting a class action lawsuit because this is not right for the honest people who orders and the people from taking your order to the one delivery it it's not fair

Door Dash sucks, my last 3 orders have been incorrect. Each time I tried to reach the driver they can’t speak English. What is the point of having that feature to call when you can’t speak with the driver. I’m out, you guys are the worst!

I had a terrible experience with DoorDash today. I placed an order at 11:00 AM, only for it to be automatically canceled by the app without any explanation. Thinking it was a technical glitch, I tried placing the order again, but the same thing happened. When I reached out to customer service, I was shocked to learn that they would only offer me DoorDash credit instead of refunding the money back to my card. This is completely unacceptable. The order was canceled through no fault of my own, yet DoorDash refuses to return my money. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving me extremely frustrated. I will not be using DoorDash again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company with their money.

Ordered food at 4:50 PM and was given an estimated delivery time between 5:10 and 5:20 which would have been acceptable. At The time the food should have been delivered, the estimated delivery changed to between 6:30 and 6:45. Almost 2 hours beyond when the food was ordered and they still didn’t have a dasher assigned. I canceled my order because I didn’t want to eat cold food that’s been sitting around for 2 hours. They only gave me a partial refund and I truly believe that they should have eaten the cost of the food since it was DoorDash that couldn’t deliver. I will never recommend them or use them again.

Worst driver ever. Ordered from hooters. Driver obviously threw order in his vehicle. When it was delivered first problem he left bag outside on an ant hill. Couldn’t even open a door to come upstairs and deliver at my door. Second threw bag in his car and spilled entire hot sauce from wings in bag. When I put bag on my stove the entire surface was covered in wing sauce. Including over every food container in bag. How stupid are these drivers. Worst ever. Be warned and of course the app won’t download the photos

I placed an order through Door Dash and I forgot to change the delivery date, so the order was going to be delivered today. I IMMEDIATELY hit change delivery, but Door Dash's system said the restaurant had already started on my order and it couldn't be changed, which is a lie, since it had literally only been a couple of seconds. I then tried to cancel the order and it said it had been cancelled, but I would only receive about $9 from my $50 order. I called Door Dash and the representative was RUDE and asked "why did I cancel my order in the first place". I explained the situation and they said they can only refund $9 and there was nothing they could do. At the time of this review, Door Dash has been reviewed 21,866 times and they have a 1.3 rating out of 5 stars. They should go out of business with their horrible practices and horrible customer service. I'm calling my credit card to dispute the charge.
