I used to work for door dash and they just tried to charge my new credit card 10 dollars. So I went on line and tried to deactivate my account but you can only do that by calling. So I called and they asked me everything besides how much I weighed at birth. The guy wanted my bank name and also the last 4 of my bank card number. I told him that I haven’t had that card in a while and don’t remember the last 4. He said then there is nothing he can do. So I hung up and called again and spoke to someone else who didn’t ask me for the last 4 like the last guy and she was able to deactivate my account. They just don’t want you to deactivate it so they can charge the 10 dollars a month. A lot of people probably don’t even realize they are being charged every month. I haven’t dashed in 6 months. Door dash sucks!!! They make it so hard to deactivate it because they want the money.

Wish I could give zero stars at this point. Service from dashers and customer service used to be amazing, and then they went more money hungry. Pushing their workers to double dash and expecting additional money to get your order faster. So basically pay more or you get cold food and instead of being held accountable for the food being cold, you try to blame the restaurants even as I watch my dasher miss turns 10 times, then sit somewhere for a while before pulling onto my road and passing my house not once, but twice…. When my house is the only one with a light on. But how dare the restaurant give me cold food. Also can we talk about your hiring practices? I get you’re offering more jobs to people that sometimes otherwise can’t do another job, I applaud you for that. But…. As a business based off providing a service to customers…. Can you at the very least do a mere simple training with your employees to not put drinks right in front of the door? I don’t know how many times I’ve had to go out another door to get my drinks, or someone opens my door not realizing it’s right in front of the door and boom there goes my drink. Obviously I know common sense isn’t so common, but as a company it is your responsibility to set your employees up for success, not failure. Stop worrying about extra money here and there, you’re losing more customers through your greed and taking it out on everyone but yourselves.

I'm the 62-year-old Man on disability using doordash and supplement income. I have become top dash or several times and did over 2,000 delivery. Did you not treat their employees right. I found a complaint against Papa John's location they did not give me my order when I arrived there had problems with the management at Papa John's and I took the pizza from behind the counter and went and delivered it and got paid but the lady at Papa John's reported me and then they turned around and deactivated my account with no notice. The lady at Papa John's was cursing me she got a hammer running out of the building with it try to hit me with it and she is the one that should been deleted or deactivated not me I'm the victim. The pay with your dash is not very good you wear your car down I was driving the BMW and have more it out doing doordash. I'm an honest person clean but in on the flip side they got people that are dirty delivering food with cars smell like marijuana low lives. They would rather have a low life delivering food or someone decent. I don't use drugs don't drink alcohol and you got some of these low lives in Biloxi running around smell like marijuana everywhere they go carrying food around. Don't waste your time doing that I hope they go out of business soon

On 12/28 I ordered two burgers two small fries and two shakes. Shortly after the driver showed up with an order just not my order. No shakes different burger and different fries. I called Door dash and they said that I would hear something back in 24 hrs. I said ok and reordered my food the second time they got it right but now I have paid almost 100 for what I wanted. I have sent them copies of both receipts the wrong order and the correct one and they still won’t refund me and won’t tell me why.

Price was better for the SAME exact meal at SkipTheDishes. I tried to cancel right away after seeing that but it was too late even though only minutes after placing the order. I called support and the supervisor said I would be called back and I never was.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I didn't receive an item which costs $20.95 They won't reimburse me!!! Unbelievable

I ordered what I wanted, paid and waited 45 min. then received an email my order was canceled because my driver cannot follow his map directions or he wanted to eat my food. Genesis was my driver and couldn't find the office but had my cell phone number.

Horrible app and service. I sent a gift to a friend in Chicago and Michael stole the cake and never delivered it. DoorDash refused to redeliver it and issue the refund. Birthday gift surprise cannot be exchanged for anything. They were not even aware that the order was not delivered. I deleted the account.

I ordered some alcoholic beverages and an appetizer to a friend of mine in a different city to celebrate a milestone for her. She was sitting at home in her living room- where she can see both the front door and the street for cars passing by. Her order never showed up- there was no attempt of delivery. Next thing I know it says it's completed and I get no picture confirmation etc. I request help and they dent my refund. I call and they investigate further and deny my refund. I call back a 2nd time and start asking how exactly they determine to deny the refund- I asked if the driver provided proof that he tried to contact me or my friend (her # was listed) via text or call since apparently the driver tried to deliver the food but it was deemed "abandoned" because no one answered- no one even attempted the delivery my friend said. I told them in previous situations if the delivery driver has any issues they always call or or text and this didn't happen. I asked if they are determining this decision based on something he has said or provided and the customer service rep said they've tried to reach out to him but there's been no contact with the driver- he won't call back. I'm like gee don't you think thats kinda fishy?!?! *eyeroll* Learned my lesson, won't ever be using them again.

I received someone else’s order and I messaged door dash even sent them a copy of my receipt and they denied my request for a refund. I feel completely ripped off.

Appalling customer service. Freezing cold food, late deliveries after huge fees. They won't even refund accordingly for meals which are completely ruined. Save your money and order direct from food vendors.

Doordash sucks and I would not recommend it to anybody they overpriced me and then when I try to ask for my money back it's going to take up to 10 days which is stupid considering they messed up I should get my money back ASAP and when I try to talk to three different customer service all of them hung up on me

I just started driving door Dash this WEEK. after they took 3 months to finish my background CHECK looking at charges from 2006 that were misdemeanors then once that was clear and I was able to drive, I get REPORTED for not delivering food that I DELIVERED AND TOOK A PIC OF. and now I got a violation and when I called trying to find out how do I go back and look at these pictures they telling me they can't give me any information as if I'm a culprit!! there's no protection for the drivers! Only the customers!!?? THE GPS SUCKS it had me go all the way down the wrong direction just to turn me back around now I got a late violation that's probably the same violation as the no delivery because as soon as I left Nick's BBQ another request pop up and I accepted it thinking it would start after I got done with the trip I was on but it didn't it skipped it and sent me to Ruby Tuesday's to pick up another order I was confused I thought a employee ordered it so now I'm picking up another bag from Ruby Tuesday's and I still had the order from Nick's Barbecue then I had to take the new person their food first then I had to take Tori hers second even though I was on hers first. Then I went to IHOP picked up an order had to turn around as I was leaving and come back because there was another order to pick up one was contactless BEN and the other one I handed to the person Xavier. It took me all the way to Savannah and then it redirected and made me come all the way back up Pooler Parkway!! I took a picture for the one that was contactless which I think was Ben. Because I gave Xavier his food in his hand. Or vice versa. I'm not sure all I wanted was to drive and make money I don't care about taking people's food I have my own money to get my own food now I got to take separate pictures to cover my ass when somebody want to be fraudulent and say they didn't get food they know they got and I know the person's name and I remember where they live and it's taking everything in me not to go to their house and ask them why they lied on me cuz I'm not that kind of person to be played with when it comes to people lying on my integrity. Doordash completely hung up in my face TWICE I gave them bad surveys twice because I've done nothing wrong and they're treating me as I am a cULPRIT!!! who wants to work for something like that? y'all can't even get the delivery straight or tell me where I'm going before I accept the stupid delivery y'all got me going all the way to Rincon Georgia FOR 8.00 I don't live out there.i should have gotten 20! I picked up my order from IHOP go to pull out the stupid GPS made me turn around and come back because there was another order!! WHY they couldn't give that to somebody else got me wasting my gas I know I took that to Xavier and Ben I didn't have any other deliveries from IHOP except Xavier and Ben and I know I gave Xavier his in his hand so Ben is the one that said I didn't give him his food when I sat there and took a picture of it right there on his dark porch?? Pampus dr he must don't like Christians because I put a Christian encouraging pamphlet in the bag that's how I know I dropped it off now he want to say he didn't get his food!! I really want AN APLOLOGY FROM THE FOUNDER after false accusations on my integrity and pain and suffering and embarrassment this was the worst experience ever. When I was a customer, people were opening my food and everything and I couldn't even get my money back! who wants to talk to someone from across seas just to be hun HUNG UP ON they hung up on me twice all because I wanted to know how to protect myself as a driver I know what to do from now on. And I want to report those two reps because they were wrong about me and even if they were right about me they shouldn't have treated me that way customer service goes a long way not just the customers it's everybody deserves the same respect there's no respective persons. From now on I will let the customers know that I have record that I dropped this food off I have a picture of their entire house they better not try me like that anymore telling me they didn't get no food and I'm wasting my gas to get this little bit of money and then y'all won't even let me drive as much as I want y'all put a limit on it and then I can't even cash out my money I got to use a dash or card through Google pay and y'all don't even send emblems this was just a trial. And I don't like it and I want my money that they holding cuz this person said I didn't deliver their food I know exactly where that person stays at and I'm not the kind of person to go back and confront them I'll let the law handle it and they better take that violation off of my profile and that's all I got to say and I will never call that customer service number again to speak with whoever they are from wherever just so they can hang up in my face I want records of my trips I want records of everything so I can cover myself I'll do it manually from now on now I have a different attitude and it's because of a stingy fraudulent lying customer I don't appreciate y'all's procedures and I don't appreciate feeling like I did anything wrong when I didn't I just started driving doordash and I can't even get through a good day without being violated and threatened to be deactivated because somebody wants to get greedy not knowing I just left their house and I remember where they live it's a dangerous game out here luckily I'm a good person but these customers need to be careful trying to play people and manipulate people and y'all should know better y'all know customers lie all the time yes I understand drivers also are capable of not delivering food but I didn't have anything in my car no one said they got the wrong order I checked the names before I drop it off I handed the people I take pictures all that like what's the problem every time I completed an order it was after I dropped it off at the door or handed it to somebody so I want to know what the problem is! I am not happy at all and I have a whole different outlook on what to do now when it comes to delivering things now I feel unsafe driving now I feel like I got to have everything recorded and everything documented before I leave their porch now I feel like I got to have their driver's license and license plate color of their curtains and everything now just to make sure I prove I delivered I don't want to do any more contactless deliveries they need to come get their stuff out my hand so I can take a picture of their face cuz the next non-contact delivery I do I will pull out my camera and take a picture and record saying this is this address and this is where I'm dropping it off and here's the bag of food and this is their name cuz I will be extra from now on I will for my protection I will be extra Petty and I'm doing it for my protection

A friend of mine ordered today a delivery from Chic Fila to my daughter. The driver delivered to the wrong address. Her name is Bianca. She called my friend and my daughter and both told her she was at the wrong address. She still left the delivery at the wrong address. Bottom line, she said she left the food at the wrong address n basically, did not care. She could have called director at Door Dash to correct this issue but chose not to. Door Dash did give credit back, but that is not acceptable. My friend should have got reimbursed for no delivery. I will never use Door Dash that hire employees with that type of attitude and will not go the extra mile to ensure people get their order. This review is on behalf of Chris Logan.

They gaslight. Specifically they offer these “discounts” and claim for example 20 percent off and then they increase their “estimated” taxes and fees . It’s literally cheaper to order Uber eats WITHOUT a discount

I deliver door dash and I’m pretty sure that they steal our tip money. If I choose to be paid by the hour plus tip I barely get a tip, but if I choose to be paid by the order plus tip I suddenly have a tip, but door dash’s portion is only 2.00. . I’m pretty sure that door dash takes our tips and adds them to our hourly wage when we choose to be paid by the hour. I hope I’m making sense here. They are scamming us I know that much!!!

I was charged twice from the same order at the Mexican food spot Chipotle. The first time I completed the order it never went to a confirmation screen and it kicked me out the app.i went In to place the order again and I found out I was charged twice. When the order came to my house it was a cold order of food sitting at the step the dasher didn't even at least knock with nit letting me know it was even coming on the app.i called for a full refund at that point not even wanting to be bothered with doordash and they only refunded me 1 order.very rude about the discretion of the refund.

I highly advise avoiding Doordash as it seems their drivers are not held responsible for any instances of food theft. Additionally, their customer service is notoriously terrible. Take my word for it, sparing yourself from unnecessary frustration is worth it. I recommend opting for Uber Eats instead of Doordash, which I affectionately refer to as "Trashdash."

I would do less if i could. 100 dollars worth of food never delivered. NEVER USE DOOR DASH...they do nothing no refund and no food. They pay drivers to steal your stuff and tell customers to f off and just a very bad company. Just a Huge waste of time and money
