Today I was pretty unhappy with Door Dash. I was not feeling well and did not want to go out myself. The sandwich place I like to order from was not offering chips today, which is unusual. As usual, Door Dash offered grocery add-on. However, when I went to select an add-on site - CVS, then Walgreen's, then Lowes Foods - I received an "unable" to connect to the add-on site.

I had a door dasher come in and he used his rewards number for a doordash purchase. And from what I’ve been told, DoorDash drivers cannot do that. So the purchase he made for someone else, got a 5.00 off coupon, he put in his pocket after he took a picture of the receipt. But he got upset with me because he had to pay a dollar for a box of chocolates. After using points he’s gained by using his rewards on DoorDash customers purchases. He was very rude.

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT use this food delivery service! If I could give zero stars I would. We as customers need to work together to shut this company down. They care nothing about their customers. I placed a order with them at 11pm last night, my order was never assigned a order. The system still says "Still Searching For Dasher" it's 5:36pm. I've been a loyal customer but I've had 6 customer service agents tell me there's nothing they can do about it and hung up on me like I wasn't nobody. They have also denied me refunds on several orders that was missing items. They DO NOT value their customers and they are scammers!!!

So a bit of backstory, I have had issues with doordash keeping my apartment number entered in system and thought "I'll go around it and enter it in the instructions". I get a message after my food was on its way from the dasher asking me what bldg # and apt#. I messaged him to look for my yellow car, that's the building. I also explained in the address that the first 4 numbers were the building #. He messaged what apartment and I was angry, I said "they're in the instructions". Well, they decided to leave it on a car in the parking lot instead. I was fuming. I did get my money back, yes. But I wanted him to at least be talked to/reprimanded. I told doordash to fix my apartment number situation. I have yet to see it fixed. Canceled my dashpass and will never use them after this. I've had so many problems with people just not reading my instructions and just leaving it where they want. Not anymore.

We had placed an order online for delivery through the little Caesars app which then goes to a door dash person that picks up the order and delivers it. We waited an hour for our food then randomly get a text saying - Your Dasher, Troy, has confirmed that the order was handed to you. Please reach out to Troy at +17083482913 if you haven't received it. The order was never handed to me or even dropped off on our patio. Called the phone number listed for the dasher and no response at all and goes to voicemail which is a business phone number with a female voicemail recording. So then after not being able to reach this supposed “Troy” dasher person I then called the number it gave next on the app where I placed the order which said - If you are having an issue with your delivery order, please contact customer support at 800-711-2604 which I then got little Caesars delivery issue service who told me they will try to reach out to the driver placed me on a 3 minute hold came back and they also could not reach the driver. They then told me there was nothing to be done no reorder option, all they could do was refund my card which would take 7-10 business days to receive back. If any of you are like us we don’t have another extra $60 bucks laying around, we live paycheck to paycheck. This was beyond the worst customer service and experience I have ever dealt with and a not so fast resolution on little Caesars end nor door dash’s customer service especially when you don’t have the extra funds to support another $60 order. I was still so upset so I decided to call the little Caesar’s store that I ordered from to see if I could get some sort of help with not getting my order since no one else had any options or authority. I called and spoke to the manager names Dylan he was very nice and understanding about the situation and he said he would make us a whole new order and make sure it is fresh. I was about in tears after almost two hours of trying to figure out how to get our food. So I asked Dylan about the door dasher and if he came in and what he looked like. He said they place the orders in the hot ovens the dasher enters the code associated with the order and takes our food out and is supposed to deliver it from there. He was a white guy with a San Diego hat and a beard was all the info Dylan could give. He then said that’s all he could capture from the camera footage. He then said after I had called him on the phone the door dasher went back inside little Caesar’s without our food and asked Dylan if we canceled our order mind you it’s been a long time by now why has the door dasher not even attempted to deliver the order or even leave the parking lot. So the dasher was on the camera twice now and asking a suspicious question but could only get the San Diego hat and beard of his description (found this really odd and the story is not matching up on anyone’s end at this point) I feel like we just got scammed, our food stolen and lied too about the truth. Then got a call from door dashes customer service and said the drivers location never even left the parking lot after picking up the pizza and said he physically handed my order to me? No clue where the driver was or went but stole our food and something seems sketch and suspicious all around with how this situation was handled. Whoever did this was a very crooked person and cruel. Could you imagine single mother ordered food for her kids and then has to deal with this for two hours?! I really hope this gets fixed they catch the crook who stole the food and investigate this further as it still seems fishy. I will be escalating this to the highest potential of my abilities and legal action for the theft who decided to steal our food and then try to trace his steps to make sure he was good and if we cancelled the order. Also being a door dasher why would you go into little Caesar’s and ask them if we canceled the order when it’s through door dash? Wouldn’t you call door dash to see if the order was canceled? Or geez I don’t know the door dash app you have to deliver peoples food on? The level of disrespect and disappointment is beyond me. There is not many out there these days that lead with integrity. I have placed an investigation case on the driver and like I said prior I will be taking further action to investigate camera footage and the suspicious behavior going on at this location. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else or they have to deal with this kind of dishonesty. Please make things right for your customers and also check in with the employees to make sure they are watching out for weird scenarios and handling things appropriately. I then got a call back from the supposed Door Dash person from the number whose voice did not match a Troy and sounded like the female on the voicemail. This person identified herself as the husband’s wife but they are currently in different states dashing and also sharing the same door dash account which is listed under the wife’s phone number which is why the order could not be resolved or talked about. Very strange getting a call at 9:14pm and being told another “Troy” dasher prob picked up the order and was rambling on and on and interrupting me religiously. Said she was a Christian and was in church but noticed my text messages about wanting to report the theft of my stolen order and calls her husband immediately and then calls me to get my side of the story which I was just the receiver of the order that I never got. She was going on and on about what could have happened what probably happened and then that she will talk with her husband and get his side of the story and be able to make it make sense. Honestly unsure why door dash allows two humans to use the same account and no way of resolving the issue when the wife whose account it was is in a whole different state with her number. After this interaction I do not feel door dash keeps customers information safe or confidential in any way shape or form. There is some serious crooked things going on here and so much dishonesty from door dash customer service. Legal action needs to go into place to ensure the proper rules and regulations are being followed as a company. If I could give this experience a review in the negative number sequence I would. Doordash is horrible they are f****** horrible they refuse to give us our money back or replace our food when the Dasher showed up to our house to confirm the order didn't have no food no nothing hadn't even went to the restaurant they refused to give me my money back for that then my self and my husband ordered from Rally's tonight and they brought us the wrong order we called and now we have to wait 3 hours for somebody to determine whether or not we get our money back or we can get our food replaced doordash customer service is horrible I just hate doordash I will no longer be using doordash they should just shut this company completely the f*** down

Drivers are terrible but what’s worse is that door dash doesn’t care. I ordered grub hub 5 min after the door dasher cancelled my order with no refund to me, after I got my food grub hub asked how everything was and actually cared. Door dash shows how little they care about customers and now they lost one. You deserve to lose them all. They also said the restaurant was who should refund me not them even though their driver picked up the order and never delivered. Now they ask ridiculous questions like how many days did the delivery take, like I order my take out days in advance and would I like to submit a picture. Yes I would but your driver didn’t deliver the order that HE PICKED UP and that DoorDash believes someone else should pay for.

Doordash really is as bad as everyone says, and it's the fault of this company, not the vendors who have to charge crazy prices to afford the fees, and not the drivers who get such a pittance they need to collect more than one order if they want to live on what they make. "Insulated bags" is a joke - a supermarket cold bag just guarantees a soggy, lukewarm mess of very expensive food. And yes, doordash, we notice you continually updating the arrival time so that even when it's 35 minutes late your metrics can still say "on time". The $5 refund for an inedible $85 food order is just insulting. I don't expect you to take any notice, there are so many honest and therefore bad reviews, this will be lost in the deluge.

Door dash in Vermillion South Dakota screwed up our order and never returned to fix it and took our money or rather they stole our money. BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

I placed an order with doordash for delivery to a convalescent home right down the street from the restaurant. Doordash sent me confirmation that my order was being processed at the restaurant. They later sent me a text to state that my order was canceled because the restaurant could not fulfill the order. I checked the restaurant and they stated they never received the order from Doordash. I am mad because they lied, and took my money. Why should I have to wait 3 business days for the money to be credited back to my account for a service I didn't receive? I'll NEVER use them again. Phoned custom service , who was of no help.

I placed an order, but I was not able to eat it when it was delivered because it reeked of cigarettes and pot from dasher’s car. I complained immediately; they would not refund the full order, and gave me only a $5 credit. I complained again but they again refused because “it had been a few days.” Cancelled my subscription immediately. Disgusting service from support. Ended chat because I was complaining.

Absolutely ridiculous how expensive the fees are. 3 plain bagels for 60 dollars?! Not only does the app charge you more for the food, doordash also claims to have no delivery fee while charging 20-30% on service and tax. Absolutely not a recommendation, place your order without doordash.

Door dash is absolute trash. If they deliver to the wrong address you don’t get your money back and you’re basically paying for some strangers food. No compensation for it. Just stealing your money. Customer service is horrible.

DoorDash has the worst customer support that I have ever experienced. If you get bad food delivered they give you a credit of $6. That’s it! We had the throw away both our meals and order was over $40! I will never use them again! And I’m happy to save the money on my pocket and drive myself to pick up my own food.

Order not delivered. Driver called me and hung up on me while I was giving him directions. My building is not hard to find. He called again 7 minutes later or so as he circled my block, again. He was very hard to understand and he told my my address doesn't exist. I told him he was rude for hanging up on me. I canceled my order. This was my first and last experience with door dash. Atleast, customer service refunded me...but I'm told it would take up to 3 days.

Service is horrible! Food delivered is always cold. Dashers do NOT use insulated bags to carry the food in, so it sits in the car getting cold. Dashers also have multiple orders to deliver, causing food to get colder. I ordered this evening from a restaurant a mile away from my house. The order was transferred to the same restaurant located 15 miles away. The dasher thought my order was to go to my work instead of my home (I'm retired!). Took my order all over the city. The order was cancelled, but NOT by me! Gues the dasher got a free meal! Cancelled my membership. Will never or from DoorDash again!!

This is the first time I used DD. My first order got delivered incomplete so we got credited back and the remainder of our food was going to be delivered. We got the message that our food was delivered to our hotel but it never showed up. We tried calling the driver and it went straight to voice-mail. So now I get to eat cold fries from the first incomplete order I got. Not even going to waste my time trying to get more food through this sham of a delivery company. Cold fries for dinner, yummy!!

I placed an order on DoorDash for food from a local restaurant, 3 hours later they didn’t deliver hadn’t delivered. I filed a complaint on their app, it they refused to refund my money. Now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

If I could give you a negative amount of stars, I would. You took my order, even though the merchant DOES NOT USE YOUR COMPANY TO DELIVER THEIR PRODUCTS. Why do you do this? Why are you advertising this merchant as an option and taking orders for a service that you don’t provide? You sent me a confirmation email. You gave me an estimated time for my order to be delivered. You CHARGED MY CARD. Of course, the order was never delivered…because of aforementioned reason….then you denied my refund request. Twice. Congrats. You’ve lost my business forever and I’ve disputed your fraudulent charge with my bank. They have agreed with me. Also? You. Have. The. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

Hoy hice un pedido , por Google maps , en un restaurante , y puse la opción de que DoorDash me lo trajera a casa , y en ningún lado me di cuenta que decía que tenía que retirarlo en el restaurante , me comuniqué de inmediato a DoorDash, para que me ayudaran a que mi pedido me lo trajeran a casa y me dicen que no hay nada que hacer , que si no iba por mi pedido al restaurante , mi dinero lo perdía . Creo que es algo injusto por qué pienso que ellos podían cambiar la opción para que fuera delivery . No veo la importancia de hacer un pedido por DoorDash para recoger en el lugar , ya que en este caso uno hace el pedido directo al lugar !!! Y la RESPUESTA fue no hay nada que hacer 😡
