DoorDash does not refund when actual charges do not meet their software charges. They keep the extra money instead of refunding it. Their tech support says they have NO ABILITY to refund in this case. This is stealing. DoorDash steals the money you should have saved when stores have a sale!

On Sept 12 we ordered a meal from a local restaurant. The delivery person delivered it to a completly seperate location. We have requested a refund but Door Dash is denying it. My opinion is to never use Door Dash again. Their customer service is horrible. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

DoorDash will NOT let you return items that cost more than $100. I purchased a chair from them they bought through Office Depot and cost $410. There is something wrong with the chair but they will NOT refund me. They keep hanging up on me and denying my request and not tell me why they will not honor their 30 day refund policy. I will NEVER order anything from DoorDash again!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are totally crooked - DO NOT ORDER FROM DOORDASH!

9/16/23 I ordered Panda Express at 4:15 PM. Around 5:20 I got a text saying my order was being 're-dilvered'. Then a doordash notification that Panda Express accepted my order again and began working on it. I then contacted Doordash through their app support to chat with an agent. He informed me everything was normal and that my order was on the way. 10-15 Mins later I get another notification through text that my order has been cancelled. I contacted a new agent and asked what was going on with my order, and as I was typing I got a phone call from Doordash asking how I wanted my refund. I said slow down, refund? what do you mean? The doordash employee said that another doordasher picked up my order by accident. I said so doordash made the mistake, not Panda Express, great. He legit hung up on me, and after talking to three different agents and giving them a chance to give me some type of credit for my order, all of them said they could not. Very disappointed and will not be using Doordash ever again.

I made an order through the app it put me in the wrong state and all doordash was willing to do to help was give me $5 unsatisfactory.

I placed an order on Friday 9/15/23 and I never received my order. The dasher didn't provide any proof he/she (Perry) delivered my food (b/c they didn't deliver it) and they refused to give me a refund. The "customer support" is a complete joke. They are in the Philippines (yes, I asked) and hardly speak English. The so called "supervisor" said he would escalate my complaint since he could see the dasher provided no proof of delivery and I would know something in 24 hours. I have contacted them three additional times with NO answers and tomorrow will make a week. They are a scam and just steal money from people. I reported it to my bank and to the BBB.

I ordered KFC when I received it my bags were ripped open and possibly food was tampered with. I contacted DoorDash and they didn't care I lost $75 got no refund and the food went in the garbage I also contacted KFC they did seal the bags but when I got it both seals were ripped open I stopped using Doordash Now just a bunch of cons that take your money and have no respect for the customer.

First or second experience, and I received one dish that was incorrect (chicken instead of tofu). Doordash offered $5 which is about a third of the cost of the dish. When I got a live person and submitted a photo (!?!?), they offered a reasonable refund, but wouldn't deliver the correct thing. Customer service was extremely slow in responding to my messages and very robotic. I will try a different delivery service.

We ordered a pizza from a local pizza place in Daytona Beach Shores. My daughter-in-law ordered it over the phone with my credit card. We thought it was odd that DoorDash delivered it, because we didn't call DoorDash. Now 4 months later I finally see that I have been charged $4.99 a month and I don't even have an account. The Customer Service will only credit the most previous month, saying that my Daughter-In-Law set up an account. I was sitting right next to her, and she did not set up an account. This is very poor customer service, if she would have taken the time to check, there would have been no usage of the service for 4 months.

I've been a DashPass member for nearly 2 years, and recently nearly every order has been wrought with issues. Not to mention, they changed their policies regarding refunds to require photos submitted in order to receive refunds or credits. I had an order that was entirely wrong, and they refused to help me because I didn't have photo evidence. Well, the order ended up in the TRASH because it was inedible. The next order I had, I received the wrong size of an item and wanted to be refunded the difference. I took a photo, submitted it for review, and they said "Sorry, this doesn't qualify." Um? I paid for an item and received something significantly cheaper, I'd like to be refunded the difference in what I paid. Anyway, I was annoyed but kept my DashPass intact until I went through and reviewed my recent orders. Out of about a dozen orders, only 1 was free of any errors. I decided to cancel and I'm utilizing a different service from now on. Because I work alone and cannot leave my office, I utilized DoorDash A LOT, I can't tell you how much money I've spent with them. It's frustrating that they don't take any initiative to correct the issues that users face, and even more frustrating that you no longer get what you paid for, especially considering how high their fees and up-charges are. Now I understand the many pending lawsuits! Long story short - opt for a different service and save yourself the headache and some cash.

When I placed my order, I immediately received a message that the order would not be ready in time, so I canceled it immediately and placed an order at another restaurant. I was charged for both orders, and when I contact DD for a refund, they said that the order was already prepared and the driver already arrived. How is that possible? I will not use again.

I cancelled an account a while back, now I cant even acces the help page I am blocked for good. I made a new account using a work phone just to contact customer support and they just gave me links to changing my account which I can't as I'm blocked from the site on my PC. I order about $80 a week through door dash, never again I now have closed all accounts

Better off using Uber eats door dash drivers steal your food and still allowed to drive and pick up and steal other customers food again hard to trust drivers like if you’ll steal my food you’ll open it and see if it’s some you want and if not you’ll delivery

We ordered 77.00 worth of Taco Bell. The driver stole it, and then Door Dash stated they couldn't give a refund. Trash. I will never use them again. Their loss. I spent thousands there.

The restaurant that I ordered from sent me chicken wings that were undercooked, tasted and smelled as if it was left out and unrefrigerated. They would not give me a full refund, only a 10 dollar credit.

Hey, if a place is not accepting delivery or whatever the issue is- do NOT charge my card. The system accepted the order and instantly cancelled it. The system needs to check that the place is able to deliver BEFORE charging. I better see that damn money back, you crooks.

Driver got out of his car and I tried to talk to him. He yelled out, "Are you going to complain?!!" I didn't say anything. He came back out to his car and I tried to explain what I wanted to say, and he resumed yelling at me. "Mind your own business!" he screamed, and left. His license plate was 003 E2V.

I am requesting a refund. Your app sent me food to the wrong addeess. I changed to address to my home address and it still reverted back to the previous one and sent the food there. I have chatted many times with customer service and they have been rude each time. I called twice and a manager was supposed to call me back within 24 hrs and they have not. It's been over 24 hrs. Even on my reorder I had to change my address twice as it kept reverting back to the previous one so I had to double check it to make sure it saved my address as the delivery address. This is not my fault, I should be refunded and I have wasted hrs on getting any type of GOOD customer service. I have also reported this to the BBB
