“So I ordered through DoorDash a while back I ordered one cup of soup and gave a $3 tip I thought that was OK for just delivering a cup of soup, but I guess not because after the Dasher delivered, he wrote me a message saying if you can’t tip well then don’t order from the app. I reported the driver nothing was done and DoorDash never got back to me, I thought it was out of line and insulting and ungrateful And disrespectful, and on top of that they did not provide a spoon or a napkin that should’ve came with the small cup of soup”

“I hate that door dash hires people that can't read or talk English and wrong people delivering my food and they can't read when I put a full detail where to go and it not hard. Door Dash needs to do better.”

“doordash dipped their hands in my bank account in the amount of 96.00 without my consent everyone needs to pay attention they were wrong and they knew it but the money will not be back in my account for 5 to 7 days! they stole from me! i filed a police report for theft. so i get to tell my sons they eat air until i get paid? cancelled my account. Also when i did order from them 99% of the time it was cold or missing several items. I go old school and pick up my orders from now on.”

“They are stealing money from people like myself that ask for refunds on stolen orders. They claim to refund money. But that money never gets refunded. Then they claim it's your bank. It's a scam and they have no problem lying.”

“They keep delivering my food to the wrong address & they don’t want to refund my money. I paid & gave tips but did not get my food. I will never use DoorDash. Poor service & customer service”

“More than half of what I order is incomplete, completely wrong or never arrives. I don’t know if companies don’t care to fulfill orders correctly or if the drivers don’t care to deliver correctly. Overall Door Dash has become a disappointment more often than a helpful service. Sad.”

“I ordered a salad from Chuy’s, submitted the order then immediately decided that I wanted a soup as well. So I submitted that order and was immediately hit up for another tip, to which I agreed. About 50 minutes later I was notified that the order had been completed. However, there was no picture and definitely no delivery @ my door. I called customer service and they told me that the order had been delivered to a location with a “gray door “. Hmmm, i live in an apartment complex and all the doors are gray. They didn’t know the apartment number. Interestingly, i never received a photo. I live in Texas and its 95 degrees today. After about 20 minutes of looking around the complex, i gave up, realizing that the salad would be inedible. I need to get back in the habit of cooking at home again.”

“They always mess up every time and why can you not change an order from pick up to delivery your a delivery service and the prices I had a full refund once for 38.66 and had to order from another place because they didn't want change it for delivery so I ordered Wendy's and still had to pay an extra 13.00 dollars for my order and the worst part is I work door dash they definitely need to fix some things”

“I placed an order to arrive at my job got a text that the order was on its way and that the driver handed the order off. Well I didn’t receive my order at all never saw the drive and he took a pic of an empty employee parking lot. Reach out to the drive and the driver did not take incoming call or never responded to text. This was my first time and last time doing DoorDash. Very disappointed. It’s not DoorDash fault it totally the carrier that left bad taste in my mouth.”

“I wish I could give it a 0 I would if I could. They never bring what I order. Or they bring it to the wrong building. I contacted support. They have no way to contact the drivers! Then when I use the last bit on my money and it's lost I have to wait 3 to 7 days to get it back. They wouldnt just reorder it and deliver it. When called out asking what type of business can't contact their drivers, I'm told I'm being disrespectful. Uh no if you want me to be disrespectful I will gladly.”

“When a problem arose at a restaurant, I canceled an order which was arranged between the driver and Door Dash. Customer Service called, we spoke and discussed my actions. I asked that the driver still receive the tip. I was told she would be compensated and I would be refunded. Nothing more. 19 hours later part of the order was discovered in front of my door, left in 100° heat. Dash will not respond to my texts. They should at least respond. This complaint is on the company proper, not the driver or the store.”

“Nashville, TN DoorDash driver Brandy Jordan delivered a Wendy's order to the Grand Hyatt Nashville late Friday night 6/7/24 going into Saturday morning 6/8/24. She was extremely rude at the front desk, could not provide a room number, would not call the hotel guest to let them know they were here only wanted to drop the food off. She wouldn't answer my question when I asked her to call the customer. She wouldn't answer the question when I asked her to confirm the address because the food had no address on it. Terrible.”

“For the ppl in the reviews saying “why merchants don’t stop doing business with DoorDash” is simply bc DoorDash refuse to close the app in those businesses and not send the money to the business bank account and they still send orders from their end and say they’re going to temporarily close it but when u see it they enable the orders again to make money off of people then they don’t refund the WHOLE order like they’re supposed to. DoorDash is filled with scammers they THREATEN YOU saying the call is being recorded they’re also very UNPROFESSIONAL and give ATTITUDE when they’re being assholes, DO NOT order from DoorDash if you can order from Uber eats do it, hey’re better or even pick up the food to the store”
