I personally was not happy with DoorDash and feel that their customer service needs improvement. I canceled my service with them due to ongoing issues with orders. With all the competition available, one does not have to settle for below-average service.

I want give them a zero. Went through the order online and gave my land line phone. NO ONE SHOWED UP. SUCH AS SAD F@!(+$%g COMPANY. Justin Trudeau, Doug Ford. and Jagmeet Singh, or better known as the Three Stooges all drive for doordash. Nothing nice to day about door dash other than they can go pound salt.

Terrible people and very rude drivers. A driver went to the wrong address for a pizza delivery from East of Chicago Pizza 2410 Court St which their food is very bad. Read their reviews.. Door Dash refused to send the food to the proper address and to take it up to the pizza place. Do not do business with them

The customer service is horrible. I lost a gift card, it had just been purchased for Christmas and they wouldn't deactivate the card and issue a new one. Was given the run around the entire day and at the end of the call, they wouldn't end the call so I couldn't complete the survey. I will NEVER use them ever

Everything about DoorDash is janky. From the fees to customer service, long delivery times and cold food regardless of the tip. They offer a lot of discounts because I imagine they’re losing business at a constantly accelerating rate.

Last night my mil ordered food from Que Onda in Matthews NC. Jamal was supposed to deliver our order . He picked it up but it never made it to our door. Then supposedly the order was being filled but the times and driver kept changing. If Doordash can't (or won't) hold it's drivers accountable, then it is a useless service. Picking up takeout on my own is less trouble than dealing with them.

Spent about $50 because after a trying day I thought I deserved dinner and a nice one. It never came. Door dash said delivered. Driver was supposed to hand it to me and not even a knock. Door dash’s response was to have a computer deny any refund or credit and no human to talk to. Immediately cut off from customer service. Got to feed a driver on my hard earned money. I never get to do anything nice for myself and after they just cheated me I get to go hungry. Too bad I wanted something decent with my money. Didn’t mean to buy a stranger dinner and be treated like garbage by the company. Regularly customer no more. I’ll refer my friends to go puff. They show up.

If I could give a zero I would. DoorDash is the most dysfunctional, incompetent food service with rude customer service.. I have had several bad experiences with them. I keep trying thinking it’s a fluke, but we will never use them again. They have delivered food to my house. They have delivered food across town to the wrong place. They have been late. Or they have left food on my doorstep and never rang the bell and never let me know they were there. Honestly never used DoorDash.

I had an 80$ order that was so bad I threw it in the trash and reordered from another restaurant only to receive a 10$ credit from DoorDash and I order at least 3-4 times weekly So disappointed in DoorDash customer service

I have had SOOOOO many issues with Doordash and their Dashers. It's not ALL Dashers. Most are polite, respectful, and follow instructions. If there's something they don't understand, they call or text for clarification. But I would say that every 10 - 15 deliveries I get, there is a Dasher who can't read English because they speak espanol, or they don't WANT to read bc the instructions I give in the notes are too long or tedious. Today, I've had it. These Dashers delivered my order TO THE WRONG BUILDING AND SENT ME A PICTURE. THEY DIDNT CALL OR TEXT ME FOR CLARIFICATION. Instead, I had to call THEN and ask them to bring my order upstairs. I told them that I have instructions in the notes and they didn't seem to understand what I wrote. They kept telling me there wasn't anyone downstairs and they couldn't get in the building when I have VERY clear and detailed instructions for EVERY Dasher that delivers to me. The instructions are in my notes on the app. Most Dashers get it right and don't have to call. But today, sheesh, these ppl were just plain stupid and rude. I am sick today and had to go find food. The guy came 10 minutes later, didn't apologize or anything. Instead, he told me he would, "air this whole place out." After the screaming match, we continued arguing through the app. They both threatened me through the app and called me names. I tried to inform DD, but they didn't want to hear me complaining and cursing. Instead, they told ME to be respectful. I'm done with y'all. I've had mishaps. I can usually let it go. This time, I can't. I will no longer use this service. You don't Vet your ppl. If the Dashers get mad and want to retaliate, what recourse do the customers have? They have OUR information and can come back to do harm. People are crazy and want to hurt people, especially when THEY did something wrong and instead of admitting their wrong, they want to change words around and take it out on YOU. I am done with DD. I've filed a BBB complaint. Do yourself a favor and use a different service. These people do not care about your well being. It's just about the dollars, like everywhere else. I don't appreciate having to go and find my food. I don't appreciate your ppl not reading clear instructions and then telling me about how I am cursing and Nad because THEY got it wrong. You are DAMN right I will curse. I am sick today and had no business out of bed. How would YOU feel? So F you DD. I WANT MY WHATEVER IS LEFT ON MY ANNUAL DASHPASS BACK. Let me go to Grubhub or Postmates. I'll do better research. We should be able to order food and not be threatened for our lives.

I've maybe done Doordash once but this review isn't even about that. I work at a restaurant, an Asian one, I had a doordash employee come in and ask me if I spoke Spanish in Spanish and I told him a little bit. After he finished explaining I still didn't understand so I used my phone to translate what he was saying. Unfortunately the Spanish he was speaking wasn't full on Spanish, that's why I was not getting the right translation. He had to call the customer and I talked to the customer. The customer wasn't happy with me saying we should have this figured out when I nor the restaurant I work at had nothing to do with the order. The employee had accidentally hit confirm on picking up an order and he didn't know what it was. It was the ice cream shop down the way from us. I understand that anyone can work for your company but you would think that they would know some English instead of coming in to an establishment and asking for help in another language. It's not like I didn't try but I'm already in a stressful situation with my job and I did not need that hassle.

Door Dash is a complete ripoff!! I placed an order last week for myself and a coworker and about 30 minutes later I got a phone call from the Dasher saying they were over 3 hours away!! So they said I would have to contact customer service and I was just out of luck for my food! I work in a pharmacy and we are extremely busy and I don’t have time to stand there and contact customer service to get my money back because they never delivered my order that should’ve been done instantly when the delivery guy canceled the order but instead I had to contact them to get a refund!! And then you think I am going to order again from you!?! No! I never did get to eat that day it was after 11pm before I got to eat anything! I have now had to contact them 3 times and still haven’t been fully refunded!! They charge you $10 a month for their services, charge more for the food than the restaurants do, and then they give you a hard time when they make a mistake!! I expect better customer service from the companies I spend my money with! They have done nothing to compensate me for their mistakes and I am still fighting with them just to get my money back! As soon as my refund comes through I will be closing my account! They have horrible customer service and don’t care about their customers at all!!

Very poor services. Had been waiting for my order to be delivered from past 1 hour and the driver is delivering other orders. When contacted help support, all they said is “do you want to cancel the order and get a full refund”. What is the point of ordering the food from their app if we had to cancel it at the end. They help support team is not that efficient either. All they do if end the chat themselves when their customer is still having a conversation regarding their food order. You need a lot of improvement on your services or would never be a good delivery service provider.

An order of 3 items, 2 of each. One was critical for cookies for a party today. Of the 3, only 2 were correct. Not worth it. Waiting for any competitor to create a better company without the stupid people.

Horrible customer service. Had to reach out about issues and both times the rep ended the chat early and I was not able to get anywhere. Secondly, because I ordered through them they have to handle any issues not the restaurant. They refused to refund me for issues with the order. Only gave a $5 credit that I had to fight to have turned into a refund. I will be removing the APP and never using them again. Horrible first and last experience.

Door dash is stealing customers money my total was $58.20 and when food arrived it was left on the porch when I asked for it to be handed to me there was a whole meals missing and the food we did receive was uncooked and the fries were cold and I sent proof of the uncooked tenders and they only offered me $43.00 and said that’s all they can do and did not apologize for the inconvenience , so I will be reporting this to bank to get my full refund from them. Watch out for them they are a ghetto company and I’ll never order through them again .

So many times they have failed, you go on vacation order food and an hour later sorry they couldn't fill your order we'll get your money in 3-5 days. Complete lack of care and compassion for their customer base. No chance to change just...couldn't.

I was about to literally get scammed by doordash🫥 This app shows one price before the payment but increases the price right after you hit pay. If I had not known this on time. I would’ve been charged for thing without my consent. I was also cut by the customer service when I showed by concern.
