When you order an item through Doordash, the submission to the restaurant is different than what you ordered. I ordered a bean burrito but Doordash submitted it to the restaurant as refried beans. It's disappointing to be expecting a burrito but receive a cup of beans. I requested that the driver hand to order to me. The driver set the order on our porch and didn't even ring the doorbell. The order sat on our porch for 15 minutes before we figured out it had arrived.

Not only am I having to pay for delivery but I've had two instances where a driver came and simply sent a text instead of knocking on the door. Fortunately I was literally standing inside my door and just when I got the text I opened the door to see the driver already walking away back to their car. Unbelievable!!! Why wouldn't you knock at the door on an or with instructions to hand to the person. Even more baffling why would you wait not even a minute for someone to read your text before walking away with their food. I do not like paying for BAD service.

We ordered our food at 5:10 and it was to be delivered at 6:13pm. At 6:30 I called the restaurant and they said Door Dash had a problem with a driver and they were getting another one. Door Dash had not communicated anything to me. The little app map started over so I calmed down. We all have issues sometimes. Ay 7pm the food was showing on its way to us. At 7:30 Door Dash cancelled our order. They never contacted me to explain anything. Just cancelled our order over 2 hours later. I received an email saying the money would be refunded and it still has not been refunded over 15 hours later! I will never use them again, this was handled in a totally unprofessional way. I saw a driver post that you had to tip well or a driver wouldn’t pick up your food. We tipped 20% or $9 for what should have been a 15 minutes job. This is crazy.

I only started using doordash few weeks ago due to pandemic . I used it three times. First two times fine. Tonight was a nightmare and I will not be using them again. The website was having issues. When I finally got the order in, it went it twice and charged me for two meatball sandwiches instead of one. A bill that should have been 27 dollars was 40 dollars! I called restaurant and talked to the manager. He said he can make one sandwich but I'll need to get the credit with doordash.. that's when it became a nightmare!. I looked up customer service number. I called. They won't talk to any customers! Only to merchants. They say you have to go to chat support on website. So I went to website and had to search for awhile to even find the chat site! Then I found it. Then I waited and waited and waited and no rep came in. Then I saw an option to send an email to support in lieu of waiting. So I did that. Who knows if I'll ever hear from them. They need to credit me for that second sandwich! I'm really angry and even lost my appetite by the time the food arrived. I do not recommend using door dash if ONLY because IF you have a problem, the customer service process is so poor. In the future I will just call the restaurant and do curbside pick up. Thank you.

It took a long time to get my order from Chipotle, which I understand isn’t necessarily driver’s fault. But when he arrived he seem to be expecting a tip. I already tipped online when I placed the order! That confusion needs to be cleared up. And no mask and gloves in this climate? Wouldn’t try again

Delivery went to wrong address. When the delivery person called to tell me he was at my door, i told him he must have been at the wrong address and could I give him my addrerss. He said no. I asked him if he could go back to the store and get the correct address, he said no. He asked me what did I want him to do with the delivery, I said find out the correct address and bring me my delivery. "I can't do that," he said. End of conversation. I tried calling Door Dash as soon as the order conformation showed on my screen, Chat line said "your order is being prepared". I was unable to talk to a real person because the customer service is whack. Can't email, can't chat, can't get through by phone. My first and LAST time using Door Sash or any food deliver services. I disputed the charge to my credit account.

There were multiple times that I didnt receive my food order. Most recently after I got off my shift at the hospital at 1am, I used my last 15.00 to order food. The restaurant cancelled my order and doordash wouldn't provide me with credits to order food (the refund wouldn't post to my acct for a few business days.) I checked my bank acct and over the last month. Since the pandemic, I have spend hundreds of dollars with door dash. I will not only stop using their service, but I will encourage my coworkers, family and friends to stop using them.

We ordered from Wendy's and I am very disappointed with the system. Doordash ordering did not permit the normal burger and beverage customization that we can get at Wendy's. With the markup to the price, I should be able to get the same menu I would get in the drive thru. The driver delivered in a very timely manner and was quite friendly, so I have to compliment the delivery service. But, I am very unsatisfied with the ordering process.

Ordered delivery from Chipotle a few days ago. The doordash guy shows up with no mask on, a dirty doordash bag, and he looked dirty himself. I doubt doordash goes over proper food safety or has any hygiene rules.

DoorDash does not prioritize customer service and makes it as difficult as possible to dispute a mistake in an order which should be the top priority for a food delivery app. They are difficult to contact and do not respond in a timely fashion, and make the "troubles with an order" section difficult to locate. If everything runs smoothly, the app is barely average, but any type of problem only makes for a headache and is not worth the "convenience" of delivery.

Today was my first experience with Door Dash and I was extremely disappointed with their service. Two items were missing and I was told I can't refund it. Word of caution - do not use their service they suck big time and unreliable make no mistake

First time user of doordash. I ordered my food and when it was delivered, ahead of schedule, the food was more expensive than what I saw on their website for the restaurant I wanted. The restaurant made no effort to help and blamed doordash. Of course, I can't get a hold of anyone at doordash for an explanation. I won't use them again. Very disappointing experience. However, I'll give credit where credit is due, they were faster than they said they would be.

I like the convenience of having someone deliver food to me. BUT... I've done it twice now and both times they've forgotten part of the order. PLUS... despite very clear directions from me to leave the food on my doorstep (because, you know, COVID), these people won't leave until I physically answer the door that they can hand be a bag. How stupid are these people??!! Time to find a different service. I generally don't stick around for a third round of idiocy.

Drivers need to be trained to deliver to the right address. Food was left on neighbors porch and driver ran.

Restaurants usually are on time. DoorDash has been extremely late 2-3 times - all on weekends - and I’m done. So much easier to just drive and pick it up yourself.

I haven't had an issue with the restaurants or dashers before, but I was sketched out when the DoorDash customer service representative told me tax was non refundable (on the item I was refunded for because it was sold out). I paid sales tax on two items originally, but one item got marked sold out (that's fine), but to tell me sales tax on that item is non refundable is incorrect information. It's unclear if that's a company policy or was up to that individual to say.

This is absolutely horrible. They're always 1/2 hour behind. Not the best if you like warm food. Why does the app tell me they're delivering at a certain time and the driver is stuck delivering in the order it asks for, only to be 1/2 hour later. Not the driver's fault. Terrible platform. Last time I use this for sure.

My order was incomplete and when I called DoorDash they said they would "look into the matter" and here it is two weeks later and not only did they not return my phone call but they also refused to refund me.

I've used Doordash many times since 2017. However, more and more my orders are missing items or are not delivered. I feel like the drivers are stealing.
