I placed in order at 2:32 to have it delivered at 4 p.m. that was when my break was at. My order showed up at 3 o'clock. It sat for an hour so I had to place a second order. Each order was $31.64. They only gave me a 5 dollar credit for a future dordash order. I know I put 4 pm in the time but it didn't register...So I spent 63.00 dollars on 2 orders of burgers and fries tonight one I ate one got thrown away .......and 5 dollar credit compensation........ Disappointing. Never again

Can't even count how many times I didn't get my drink. It really sucks when your on your lunch at work and no time to pick up your own food and then you paid for a drink you don't have. Then the driving blames the restaurant, the restaurant blames the driver... 😠

My account was hacked (fortunately, I caught it before the purchase could be completed). This same thing has also happened to others I know and they weren't so lucky. The app lacks a couple very important features (namely, the ability to remove all payment info and the ability to freeze/delete your account).

I have used door dash for about 2 months, no issues until the past 2 weeks. My review is based on the things that happened both times. One issue I had was, I ordered food for my Mother last weekend, I got an e-mail saying restaurant verified order. I got notification driver had arrived at restaurant and was waiting on order, about 2 mins later I get a call. It was my dasher who could not speak English well. I had to ask Him to repeat himself 4 times and I finally understood “they not get your order” I told Him I got an e-mail saying they did. “Call them call them” He said and hung up. I called restaurant no answer from a human it went to a computer or fax machine. He called back while I was trying to see if I was dialing the right number and rudely said, “Cancel order! Cancel order!” “I will leave restaurant!”, “I tell them you cancel order” I said, no I want the order. Mind you He had not been waiting long at all. He hung up. His number was from out of state. I chatted with Door Dash customer support and wanted to know what was going on. I was only told the restaurant could not fulfill the order and I would get a refund. Which I did get. I found out I was dialing the right number for restaurant I wonder if they were even open. Driver never mentioned restaurant could not fulfill order. This past weekend I ordered lunch for Mom and myself. Dasher brings order leaves it at door like requested and leaves. No issues with dasher, the order was messed up I got someone else’s orders our drinks was right. I contacted Door Dash support via chat, and told them what happened. I was offered a refund for the food only. Which was fine because the dasher did His part and delivered food. What happened next is strange, I got a call, after closing off chat. it was a man who could not speak English well, asking me if I got my refund e-mail. I am thinking it was door dash support. I checked my mail on my tablet and said yes. He went to talking real fast which made it harder to understand Him. I made out “You refund me!” I asked Him to repeat himself and I could not understand Him. I finally said, all that was wrong was I got the wrong order. He told me to have a good day and hung up. I looked at the number, and it was a local call. I thought it was strange because I did not get a call the last time I had an issue/refund. I replied to the e-mail I got and asked if they called or was it the dasher. Never heard anything. Seemed shady to me. I deleted my account and will use Grubhub.

Tried DoorDash several times now. It is very inconsistent. More than half the time, the driver assigned will drop the order and it will sit in an "in progress" status until you contact support and they manually reassign the order. Just a bad system.

2 out of 5 of my orders were cancelled after more than 30 min. Today my friends ordered delivery and the driver could not find the address, which is really hard to miss.

I ordered my entire order without dairy because I’m allergic to dairy and my order came in covered with cheese. DoorDash said they would escalate the situation to a manager and never did. I was refunded $12 of the $30 order that was not edible. All other orders have been fine and timely but their customer service created an extremely negative experience for me.

Food always shows up late and cold, but they at least get the order right usually.

First, they got the entire order wrong. I had ordered 2 platters. What I received was 1 sandwich (family of 4 here). Second, I had wanted a refund issued to my credit card but they instead provided me DoorDash credits to use for next time. Chatted with customer service who told me that they cannot issue a refund to the credit card because the transaction is over 3 days ago. Really? Great service and I wont be using this again.

Delivery and food was fine but... 1. they charge you a service fee which I get...they need to make money somehow (Almost 10%) 2. If you look at the menu, items on their website are $2-3 more than the restaurant menu. So they also take that on top of service fee. Plus you have to tip driver so I think it’s close to a 35% extra when you order through them. 3. They misspelled a restaurant called Real Thai on their website. I almost didn’t know it was Thai food because they spelled it Real Tai. All in all, it just a bit more probably than going into the restaurant if you were Tip the waiter/waitress but you are at home (unless it’s a fast food place then you’re definitely paying the price)

The whole process last night was horrendous. I'm sympathetic to a point given the pandemic but I'm disabled and have learning difficulties that affect things related to ordering, buying and receiving items I need or want. They spent 3 hours talking and not resolving. Plus the online chat help was awful for me. I still have not gotten my money back. I wouldn't depend on this service during a national crisis.

As a driver I had to go back to a merchant and correct the mistake on the order that was entirely wrong waiting for almost 2 hours at Walmart for them to fix the problem losing money and Doordash was worried about completion rates and not compensating for my lost time when I could be earning money, the problem wasn't my fault. They need to compensate drivers for lost time when we spend hours fixing a problem that wasn't our fault

My office ordered some food from a restaurant and we used doordash.com. We were so displeased with the delivery driver KimberlyL. She decided that it was a good idea to leave our food outside our door . She did not call us let alone actually DELIVER THE FOOD. If it were not for someone in the parking lot calling us to let us know we never would have known our food was OUTSIDE the door on the GROUND. I hope that this is not customary service for door dash. It doesn't leave a good impression for first time users.

While they have improved from what I've heard since I drove for them my experience ordering left me thinking they just aren't worth using. The restaurant I wanted to order from had 3 nearby locations, but the app only let me select one. The one I selected was on a college campus and was closed due to the pandemic. The other locations were close enough to deliver hot food from, but I couldn't order from them and when I reached out to customer support they told me this was by design and I would have to order from a different restaurant.

When I asked why I was being charged for the dash pass when it was offering a free trial the lady on the other end of the chat said that I had already had a free trial which I don’t recall after she told me this she ended the chat abruptly. Her customer service was useless. I didn’t get anything resolved

Doordash is a new way to bid on the items you want, winning them for a cheap cost to the highest bidder.. SO I THOUGHT.. What has been my experience is a new way to gamble your money away ganding a urge to spend more hoping to make back your lost with a painful costly experience that it's truly not just bid$ ($ intend) each bid cost you money one way or another so to just bid will leave you broke this is do to the high lock out point in which no new bids are allowed, however the knock out blow to you will be a person can bid one time before that lock out out point and can rejoin at any time leaving you to just spend on bids keeping the auction going exhausting your funds only for them to walk away with the item what's even worst or equivalent to is the bids you spent are lost if you didn't win the item that was up for bid. This locks you in mentally, and some cases financially for the prevention of lost of money on bids. The cherry on top is you still will need to pay the total amount of the winning bid if you are last to bid. I giving it to stars for the point that they do offer you to make the purchase on the item you bide on in which you will get back all the bids you lost biding yet even in this case you paid for the product at the full cost you was hoping to get a deal on.
