Door dash is a good company and they do have some great drivers that do things in a timely fashion however there are times that they have drivers especially the foreigners that you can't understand then they deliver your food to the wrong apartment and just leave it there.

I have used them a few times. The first time was great. On time, correct order, and everything. The second time, the food never arrived, the driver claimed he came, but I didn't answer the door. I was standing right outside our building. Then he said he brought the food to my other place. There is no other place. Another time everything went ok. Last night, more than half the order was missing.

I tried and tried again if my order will be good, the first time and second time our food was cold, the 3rd time one of the orders are wrong. I paid real money for these food. So disappointed. I’m gonna stop ordering

I used future dates order via doordash app. I wanted to add couple of more items, I connected to an agent via chat. She informed me that she cannot do it. I asked if I can cancel and then reorder again. I was informed that it is not possible. I will not get full amount back. At the day of order, restaurant called to tell me that they don’t have the order in their system. I have to wait longer. Very suboptimal online app and really confusing service. Too bad I did not read the reviews first.

Everytime i order from Doordash they are usually spot on. I recently (a week ago) ordered from outback steakhouse when the order arrived the $26 baby back rib meal wasn't in the bag. I tried to get a refund but they said they could not issue me one. I have ordered from Doordash about 20 times so just keep that in mind.

Drivers really need to read the delivery instructions.. I dont write leave at my unit door and specify that I'm in the lower level because I want my food left outside on the step in front of my building!!!!!! Last 3 deliveries same issue.. Never the same driver!!!

You are on your own if a delivery order goes bad. You have to do all the legwork and work out a manual refund with the vendor. Just be aware that this company does not support you.

I ordered from door dash over an hour before the restaurant closed. They took my money then cancelled my order. They stated they cancelled because the store was closed. I gave them plenty of time to get there. As I was speaking with Zeke H in customer service he used sentences like “I feel you”. So unprofessional and then disconnected the chat before resolving anything. Now I am out the money for the next 5-7 business days!

I ordered a first time from a restaurant. Got told it had been delivered but no sign of it. I live in an apartment complex that is easy to find what is correct apartment. Had to chat with site support who said again food was delivered. Driver apparently must have dropped off my order at the wrong apartment and never even called/texted me to verify right place. Site support said they would refund my money to my account (which I am definitely going to be monitoring to see what they do) and gave me about 10 dollars in credits. Went back on site to try to reorder food as was still needing dinner and wanted to give second chance. By this time, the first restaurant I had ordered from had closed so I had to find a different one to order from. The second time it actually went ok, but I am not sure how much I will trust Door dash drivers. Will update this, especially if they don't end up refunding my money.

Door Dash gives a number for contacting the delivery driver, but the drivers never answer, for any of the deliveries I've had. I was tracking one delivery, and saw that the driver had read my address backwards; I called and texted to let him know and never heard back. I lost my money both from the restaraunt and the tip the driver got and didn't deserve.

We went online and placed an order with Cheesecake Factory. We paid up front. We did not get part of our order. We were told that to get the money we had to call back Door Dash. Door Dash told us it would take 5 days to get a refund. Assuming we get the refund, I gave 2 stars. I marked down "damage" to reflect that an item was missing. The parts that were delivered were intact and as advertised. The staff members with whom I spoke were pleasant and helpful. They comported themselves professionally.

My order never showed up and they said it did. The order was over $60 and when I filled a complaint not only did they not reimburse or credit my account for the food I did not received (which was picked up by the driver from the place of Buisness) but this is what they sent.... At this time, we will not be able to address the case you submitted, as we are prioritizing urgent and safety-related issues.

Driver didn’t have any protection. Food was semi-open .... nothing was seal ... very disappointed 😔

Ordered and tried to pay w card but it automatically charged the info I used with last order. This wasn't ideal as my friend was going to pay. The total said $60ish and when I got the confirmation email, it was $92!! The email itemized the bill.. they add auto grat, service fee, delivery fee and tax. It was an extra $30.. So, I wasn't given the opportunity to give apt # before the site charged me & said done. Therefore, the driver texted (trying to find us) the restaurant texted(to tell us) I responded to both & called the driver with no answer. The driver gave the food to my friend, randomly walking down the street as the driver was 15min early. My friend could have been ANYBODY! No?? I've posted a pic of correspondence between parties.

I will never use door dash again. I used it 3 times. Twice my order was terribly incorrect. No sauce, a missing 6.00 sandwich, a chicken entree minus the chicken. I was given a credit once. Which left me with 2 totally messed up dinners. And made feel as if I HAD to order again since it was a door dash credit. Sorry about the coronavirus folks. But I will only be ordering from businesses that deliver directly. No "door dash" middleman.

I like the restaurants DoorDash has on their app but they are constantly leaving food off my order I don't know who's taking it but I seldom have that problems with the other apps I use. And then when I do ask the food to be delivered it's impossible to get that you generally have to have a refund and then they don't consider that you tip the waiter pay deliveryy f e es etc. There is no phone to reach them it is very hard to use their online chat and when they do find different email they want even more information which you have to use to chat again to give them you can't respond directly to the email. So I finally after going through this for about 8 months I finally canceled my account it's not worth all the time and effort to get a little bit of food was taken off the order constantly DoorDash has great restaurants but their customer service is terrible and for me it's not worth spending hours on the phone or email trying to get it corrected. You used to be able to contact them on the phone but now you can't even do that so it's worse. And they blame it on the virus but they've had poor customer service long before the virus came into effect

First time using, placed order it charged my card and then a few seconds later said my order had been canceled because the place I placed an order with was closed. No indication of that before I ordered! And now they are saying it will take 5-7 business days for my card to be refunded. Never again!

In a time where restaurants have no excuse to miss things on a clients order before it walks out the door, they seem to think that because they have a captive audience not in their face they can slack on the details. Restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings where they can’t follow an easy order and give you a complete wrong meal but out it in a box with the correct labels of what your ordered. Chili’s, where again the meal ticket receipt is correct and yet the condiments request are completely ignored, items made incorrectly and poor presentation. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, where the person taking the order over the phone can’t take the order right after multiple corrections and then at the last time can repeat it right but still enters the wrong order. Restaurants have a great opportunity to something really amazing but if you do not want to pay attention to the details because you do not have a client in your face about mistakes then clearly you are looking to scam clients because you have no problem up charging for delivery, specific order requests and extras and yet do not include what you promised. In short...you need to get your acts together or your companies will not survive as you hope too.
