This is the second time I've ordered from doordash and had a problem, I ordered through their website online for takeout. Each time I pushed the take out button it changed it back to delivery, and I had to change it back to takeout. I checked my order at the end to make sure it was takeout, it came to 16.19 with tax 18.00 something. I ask my husband to go to pick it up, when he gets there he's told your order is out for delivery. I check my receipt it's a delivery order and I'm charged 29.00. I call them to dispute it and I'm told the order says it's for delivery and that was pretty much that. Unacceptable, I know I made no mistake on my order. I should have known better than to order from them again. I don't care what they have as a receipt I know what I ordered and how I ordered it. Beware when using there app, because there mistake will be made your own. Unacceptable customer service, I tried chatting with them through the app, instead of helping me I was told we see it's a delivery order, the chat was closed before I was done with my response. So I start another chat basically the same happened. I call door dash and received the same response, at this time I'm heated, and yes I yelled to get my point across, when I see they didn't care I ended the call abruptly at that point we didn't have anything further to discuss. When ordering from them make sure you take screen shots from the beginning to end. If not they will not listen. As Im writing I'm receiving text, they want to fix it. No thank you, I'd rather worn the next customer to check their order from beginning to end.

I had placed an order with a local restuarant for DoorDash delivery and the full order was not delivered..I contacted them via the 855 number and they asked me a few questions, placed the order for my missing items and had it delivered at no extra cost....Thank you, Clefton for going beyond and above to deliver my meal

It’s frustrating when you get a great deal with DoorDash, but the driver can’t be bothered to check the receipt to make sure all items are included. I get sometimes the bags are sealed, and they can’t check, but my recent order was not sealed, the bag was wide open with the receipt attached. DoorDash did credit me the amount of the item, but not the full price of course because of the discounts I received. The problem is, now to order that exact same item. I am literally paying more than I did for the entire first order because now I have to pay fees and there are no discounts. It wasn’t a very large order and it wouldn’t have taken more than 30 seconds to take this additional step.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – No Resolution, Just Ignored! I’m beyond frustrated with DoorDash. They completely failed to resolve multiple issues with my orders — food arrived wrong, missing items, or just flat-out inedible. Instead of fixing anything or showing even the slightest care for customer satisfaction, they simply ignored my complaints and canceled my subscription without warning. There is zero customer service. No one is actually there to help — just generic responses and canned replies. They don’t value loyal customers, and the tone from their end has been dismissive and downright rude. How do you run a food delivery service and ignore food-related issues? This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with any service. I do not recommend DoorDash to anyone who expects even basic customer support or respect. STAY AWAY!

I ordered food that was completely inedible...stale, soggy chips and quesadilla from Qdoba that I paid $28 for. I requested a refund. I was offered $10. I didnt accept it! Why should I pay $18 for food that went into the trash? I was told by their rude customer service rep that I should have eaten it instead of thrown it away. I understand that DoorDash doesnt prepare the food but they do advertise food delivered fresh. They didnt follow through. I order DoorDash several times a week and most of the time the food is good. I dont ask for refunds very often, maybe 5 in the past 3 years but they were for items that were missing completely and never had issues with getting reimbursed for it. I dont know why they are acting like Im asking for the Hope Diamond this time.

Customer for 3 years with dashpass. My $110 order was delivered to the wrong address and I never received my food. I had a PIN number to give the driver but he dropped it elsewhere with out a getting my pin, so the pin is apparently useless to door dash customer service. Although customer support review showed the delivery was not delivered to my home, they still refused to give any refund at all. Just a sorry?? What kind of company does that to a loyal customer. I cancelled my account and will never do business with a company like that again. Basically stole $110 from me. And the idiot driver got a nice tip from me for his incompetence. Absolutely crazy!! Save your money.

Worst experience ever...driver never collected the food and doordash said they refunded but money would take 7 days....waited over 2.5hrs FOR a driver. Do not use them. Customer service centre not in Australia either . Complaint has been lodged to ACCC.

My account was hacked by an employee of doordash 7/16 and I had over $400 in charges on my credit card. I will never use door dash again . Beware

Refused to give refund when they messed up the order even though pictures were provided as proof. Just because people have submitted wrong order claim before doesn't mean you can refuse to provide refund. I always have pictures to back it up.

Doordash driver drove around saying her couldn't find where to drop off the food. When this grown man finally found me he demanded i give him 5 dollars in cash or he wouldn't give me the food. This is a grown man intimidating women into giving him cash. Will never order from doordash again amd suggest you don't either

Now service is even worse, they a batching orders. It took an hour to get my Taco Bell order and it was cold and soggy.

I am a dasher and my complaint is that some store seal the bag before is check by the dasher. In several occasions the store missed item or drinks and the dasher get blamed. Will be good if corporate let stablisments know not to seal the bags until they are checked by the dasher.

First order canceled because they said the driver had an emergency. I was charged for the order. I reordered and was told that I couldn't get my first order money back. They claim they gave me a credit. I spoke with a person that informed that I would get a refund back to my checking account. I have decided to never use this company. We will be ordering from Uber eats or grub hub

Every time we order groceries they leave food outside the wrong door blocking a handicap ramp. Instructions in all caps says Deliver to RED door. And you have to tip on the order! What happened to tipping on the service you receive. I will be avoiding DOOR DASH at all costs from now on and hope others refrain unless it's an emergency. My mother is completely crippled and they have wasted her food sitting outside the wrong door for the last time. This company sucks.

My son and I are homeless. I earned enough to door dash little cesars pizza so my kid could eat. The guy who picked up our order canceled my order but the next door dash guy went and said it was picked up. So apparently door dash is cool with their delivery drivers eating food that's NOT THEIRS. When I contacted door dash they did nothing not even apologize which blew my mind. But thanks door dash for no refund so my kid could eat.

You will get ripped off some how! Do not use door dash! You try to get reimbursed because the dasher gave your 9 items to someone else and end up with someone else order. Back and forth with restaurant and door dash! Definitely not using door dash AGAIN!
