I’ll not use DoorDash again. Clicked “hand to me” and the item was just left in the reception area. Never received item. Reached out to CS and they basically said too bad. They have got to do better. I no longer care: I’m done.They are awful.

I am submitting this formal complaint against DoorDash regarding their mishandling of my account security and refusal to issue a refund for fraudulent charges. On a recent occasion, I contacted DoorDash directly and requested that my account be permanently deactivated because it had been compromised by a hacker. Despite my clear instruction, DoorDash allowed the account to be re-activated without my authorization. After the reactivation, the hacker proceeded to make a fraudulent purchase of approximately $98, which was charged to me. I immediately contacted DoorDash to report the fraudulent activity and request a refund. Not only was my refund request denied, but when I asked to escalate my concern and speak with a manager, I was told by the representative that I could not. This response reflects a lack of proper escalation procedures and accountability. DoorDash’s incompetence in account management and failure to safeguard consumer information has caused me a direct financial loss. As a paying customer, I should not bear the burden of security failures that were within the company’s control.

Made an order from Wendy’s, I didn’t receive that order instead I received an order from a Chinese Restaurant. I contacted customer service to explain my situation and even sent a picture which clearly you can see that it wasn’t a Wendy’s bag. I asked for a refund of $27 which they denied. Needless to say I will not be using DoorDash in the future.

Today I ordered from Total wines through DoorDash. My DoorDash drivers showed up with my order, neither spoke English, which I do not have a problem with honestly. But neither of them had taken an order that needed a driver's license verification. They did not know how to scan my driver's license. I finally communicated with them that they could enter it in manually. When it was entered in manually my expiration date was entered in wrong. So they had to take my order back. Now I am being charged a $25 restocking fee for something that is clearly not my fault. Virtual customer service is escalating my issue. But that could take days to actually get someone that can get me the remainder of my money back. So I have had to put in a new order which is again going to charge me that $25 restocking fee and hopefully the people that deliver it will be able to scan my driver's license properly. After today I will never use doordash again.

DoorDash is awful. They will allow orders to be placed at restaurants that are closed then refuse to refund you when you report it. Stay away!

I ordered 4 pizzas and they delivered two. They would not deliver the other two without me doing an order all over again and paying all of the fees over again. So I got $10 worth of food for like $23 total. They agreed to refund $10 for the pizza we didn't get (the total for food was $19.98) but refused to refund fees or even taxes on the food we didn't receive. So I have hungry kids because I only get half of the pizzas ordered and they refuse to come out and deliver missing pizzas or even refund the fees and taxes paid on the missing food.

Doordash used to be really great service. Lately the drivers have really sucked. They never find your location no matter many directions you give them. I think there needs to be a better screening process for drivers to ween out those that aren't from the area, who have language barriers, etc. I work at a doctor's office so its hard to get away and Doordash used to be my lifesaver. Now I dread using this service because my food is always lost. Its sad.

Consistently hiring non English speaking drivers so you cannot communicate with them when they are consistently lost, late. Consistently when they do show up which is few and far between the food is cold. The director doesn't give drivers the unit numbers, lot numbers etc. 90% of the time you cannot communicate. I have had over 15 times food was not delivered! Just done with this company. Zero compensation for anything except the food! Worst ever! Even with simple instructions they can't read!

I was charged 3 times on the same day unauthorized through DoorDash. I checked my app to see what the orders were and it didn’t pop up in my recent orders. I called DoorDash customer support and they transferred me to 5-7 different agents that were supposed to to help to just be told at the end that they couldn’t do anything about it. It’s crazy to think that you run an app off people ordering food but have no security for customers cards or frauds. Not only that the customer service is horrible. All the different agents I spoke to sounded like they were either 10 feet away from the phone and didn’t want to talk at all or I did not understand a single word they were saying, and we was I believe speaking English. Even Facebook app is able to link up how many accounts your card is with but DoorDash can’t even find what the 3 unauthorized orders were. I was a customer from the very start of DoorDash but now I will never touch or associate anything to do with DoorDash.

I ordered ice cream as late night snack and the dasher took 30 minutes telling me everything was out of stock and asking for a replacement as I requested before ordering. After getting all the replacement they cancelled the order without saying anything. I tried to contact support to ask what was going on and they randomly cancelled my order and ended the chat. They said since I was responding they were going to end the chat but I was constantly sending messages to them asking why they canceled my order. It has now been an hour and a half later and I still have no ice cream…

They have good services and a variety of places to order from. Are fast and not too expensive. BUT their automated (machine) customer service is atrocious! It has zero intelligence! A 2 year old has more intelligence than the computer system. You talk to it like a person and it gets 90% of it wrong. They don’t have helpful options even when you do use one of their pre-programmed responses. I’ve been on hold for 30 min and 20 seconds - and STILL holding for a person!! Their app made a mistake and put it in as a pickup order. That doesn’t make any sense since I could just order online, call or go into the store and speak with a human! No benefits there! I never have used the pickup option. No idea how it did that. Almost took my money for the order & forced me to drive 20-min to pickup. I finally got ahold of a human via chat who in 3-min was able to help. But after spending so long on hold, and getting hassled by the machine - I was so livid! Thankfully the human was kind and helped anyway. The quality of customer service will cause me to order 90% less - not worth the trouble when something goes wrong. I believe this will turn many away from this platform.

The restaurant was loved. Doordash didn't bother to tell me. Instead, they just said it would be 20 minutes longer. And longer. Each time I checked. No dinner. Never again. Customer service chat was not helpful.

I’ve been a loyal DoorDash customer for over a year, ordering multiple times a week. But after this recent experience, I’ll never use them again. I paid for a meal and was delivered someone else’s order. I sent them clear photo evidence showing it wasn’t mine. The name, the food, everything was wrong and they still refused to give me a refund for what I paid for and didn’t receive. Even worse, I had just paid for the yearly DashPass subscription hours before this happened, which they also refuse to refund. I’ve had plenty of orders in the past with missing or wrong items, and every time I only requested a refund for what I didn’t get. Never once for something I actually received. But this time I got nothing I ordered, and they still denied my refund. This company clearly does not care about its customers and takes no accountability for their mistakes. I had to dispute the charges with my bank to get my money back. DoorDash should be shut down with the amount of complaints they’ve received on the Better Business Bureau website.

Order that was delivered was completely different than what we ordered and paid for. The receipt on the bag was correct but the items in the bag were wrong! The order we received cost less than the order we paid for. Contacted DoorDash on the app to request the difference be refunded and I was denied. I called DoorDash customer service and they said they would escalate the situation to their manager. I was advised to check my email in 24 hours with information on how to proceed with receiving the difference back. 5 days later and I still have not heard back from DoorDash. I will never order through DoorDash again and I have shared my negative experience with everyone I know! Now, I will share my negative experience with everyone I meet!

I placed a pizza order through DoorDash, i never got my order and have proof of it, they on the other hand have no proof of delivery and still refuse to give me a refund. Worst experience in my life. I will also note that this was the first time using their service and will be the last. I will include a photo of what the drop off location is vs the photo i was sent by the dasher and a 3rd photo to show proof that the location they “dropped off” at was the wrong address. I also could not check to see if my food would mysteriously appear due to me being at work… although i think its a safe bet there was no food considering the photo the dasher sent was absent of my pizza.
