“Most of their drivers DO NOT speak English. When they text you, it’s in Spanish. DD should at the very least use drivers that can communicate at least a little in English. Because of this problem, my orders are often left at the WRONG address. Grade: C-”

“I ordered my food on Wednesday march 20, 2024 form first watch. The dasher went to the store and picked up a wrong order and bring dropped it off at the front desk, when I check it, it didn’t have my name on the tag, I called the dasher he answered and I told him he left the wrong food, he was aware and reported it to DoorDash so I get a call from them saying i should submit the receipt and pictures of the food I get so I went ahead and did so, only to my surprise this was the response I get back from them (Hello JACQUELINE, You recently reported an issue with your DoorDash order. “I always order through doordash. In February and March this year, items were missing. The February transaction was okay as Doordash refunded me a little over 4 dollars but the March missing item, they said "they refunded me" but nothing came into my visa debit account. I contacted them again and was advised that the refund was processed on their end and to contact my bank. I did what they told me and the bank told me there wasnt pending. (I used to work a bank, so if deposits like this usually takes about 3-7 business or more depending if there is an issue from.the .sender. So, I contacted Doordash again and was told the refund was processed on the same date mentioned when I contacted them the first time. I REEXPLAINED BUT THE CHAT AGENT DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING I SAID. Instead, chat agent advised me the issue was wacalarwz to a special team and I will receive an email from that team in 1-2 business days. I was not surprised that no email was received conaidering I checked my junk and spam folders as well. There was one email I received from Doordash about 7 days after that advice by the chat agent, but it was a survey of how they did. They needed to refund 16 somethig dollars. I gave them 2 stars could given them 1 because some couriers werw awesome! I refrain from using Doordash after that experience. If its integrity the reason why dis not refund me because I complained maybe 2-3 times foe missing items, what more Doordash system.twlling their agents and me as a customer that refund was processed even if it was not. I even told the chat agent I can sens my bank statement as proof .but then again I got ignored. Competitors are even better with Doordash fees are not cheap too. Good luck Doordash!”

“I will never shop with DoorDash ever again this company is scammers and they could care less about customers. I’ve had to call and report a Dasher, also missing items . They never got back with me on that issue. My food has been missing twice. They declined my refund request making me pay for food that was not even there on top of it customer service representatives use fake names with fake reference numbers and tell you they will contact you in a few hours. It has been going on week number 3!! still no contact! I spoke with no one! I’ve been asking to speak with a supervisor since day 1 , I am so over DoorDash and the stress they have caused me! I will shop with Uber eats or anywhere else besides DoorDash!!! everyone beware of this company. !!!”

“Be careful everyone they still your food and never give you refunds too . The dasher never delivered my order worth of $64 and they refused to refund me the money. This is the second time the dasher took the food for themselves. It’s so sad , they are Mexican or Indians . I will never use door dash again in my life . They are horrible. This happened in Ohio . I will posts this on social media as well .”

“Beware! If you have credits, the website says you can use those credits for your next purchase. But when I purchased a gift card for a friend in need, it used my credit card instead. I complained to customer service. Too bad so sad.”

“I will never use DoorDash for service again ever ever ever. I am 73 years old, disabled and needed assistance getting food delivered to me and they failed twice. They have a language barrier both on the Delivery side and on the service side and frankly I don’t expect to receive a refund.”

“I ordered a 6 pack of white claw from the local alchahol store and was quoted 15-25 minutes. Alomst an hour later nobody showed up so I called to cancel my order and was told that on my 28 dollar order i was only eligible to revcieve a refund of around 4 dollars WHAT!!!??? I was told it was impossible to cancel as the order was already prepared> Seriously? they cant just walk it 15 feet back to the fridge. Im sorry to say ive spent 100s and 100s of dollars on door dash and i will never order from this company ever again. Over an hour and no service, i could have walked to the store in 20 mins and paid 12 dollars less.”

“Dasher delivered my order to the wrong address and not even close to where I live. Texted Doodash and dasher through their text app and no response. Tried to contact customer support online and of course the answer I got was no refunds and no re-order delivery. What a ripoff company. Unfortunately, people don't seem to care about this companies unprofessional conduct until they experience the same outcome. Good luck.”

“I have been doirdashing for years .Using a new car with signs and i even wear a complete doirdash uniform. But whenever i have a problem the idiot agents generally close chat. Door dash is a pathetic company to work for.The real wages are 10 to 15 dollars an hour and than yoy have to deduct gas and depreciation of vehicle not to mention maintenance. So the pay is 8 to 12 dollars an hour. Consider other companies”

“I received the wrong order. I contacted DoorDash right away. They would not resend correct order or refund what I paid their only solution was to give me a credit toward next order for a third of what I paid. When I voiced that a third of what I paid is not fixing the problem they said that all we ca do and hung up on me.”

“Order was over an hour and a half after order time. A full hour after estimated delivery time. I attempted to contact help desk an hour into the process. No offer of a discount. Told a refund was not possible regardless of the fact that my order had not yet been picked up. Very poor service.”

“Would never recommend. Cold food and drivers who speak zero English are the norm. They take several orders to the point you're not getting your food on time or hot! I paid $40 for a late cold pizza. And this was after I originally cancelled because the first delivery took way too long. I tried again because Pizza Hut couldn't figure out how to refund my card. Now that I've seen their rating I'm glad people are speaking up. I will never use Door Dash again even after they "change" to get better reviews.”

“This place they’re crooks they will steal from you. We ordered food and put the wrong address that was like four buildings up. The driver never called door Dash sent an email or anything it was a $41 purchase. We never received the food and all they did was give us a $10 credit on DoorDash. I spoke to the lady on the phone. She refused to help me. She was very ignorant and said that we will not be refunding our money. If you can do anything, please do not use DoorDash stay clear this place they have a 1.3 review for a reason keep your money go to another Uber eats or something do not use DoorDash they are crooks.”

“My order is at a Starbucks in Cincinnati and I live in Kentucky. It was a $23.00 order and nobody wants to pick it up. Why not use a store in my area?”
