I've been a driver for a while. Today I worked for 4 hours in extreme weather, pouring down, high wind and lastly it turned into a freezing snow. No promo. No additional pay. Finished working, went home soaked wet from head to toe, cold,checked the app little bit later for my schedule and noticed there is a promo for additional $5 for every order after the extreme weather went away. There is no rain, no snow now, no harsh temps and drivers are getting additional $5 bucks. I worked in some very bad and dangerous conditions during winter and there were probably 3 occasions I got promo of $2 for every order. I'm talking piles of snow, dangerous driving conditions, getting stuck all the time and temps falling even into negative digits (Farenheit). This is ridiculous. Like it's not bad enough already. Low pay, expensive gas, constantly going above and beyond when doing shopping orders even though it won't earn me any more money, it just makes me late, scammers ... I just got fed up today.

TRASH!!!! Stole my money. I was supposed to be refunded & 2 weeks later, I’m still waiting for their “escalation” bullsh*t. F**k DoorDash. & their management don’t do their jobs either. They just send you to the next one! Highly unprofessional! Especially mcdelivery, they’re exceptional garbage bags! Won’t order from these thief’s EVER AGAIN!

(This is my communication with an outsourced customer service!) I am still trying to figure out the service fee, taxes and tip (that automatically defaults to $7.00) I live less than a mile away and still have to pay what others that may live 5 miles away! It seems there would be a difference in service fee based on mileage, and the recommended tip about would be different. I will not use DoorDash as a delivery service again, as I just need to get my lazy butt up and drive myself! 😂 No wonder there are class action suits pending in the NE! Rouge company!

horrible way of service.please do not sign up. They do not take phone calls from cancellations. It's the most difficult subscription to cancel.

A long time ago I vowed to never use doordash again. (That time they charged me for food I never got that they admitted went to the wrong address but, because it was delivered (somewhere?) insisted I had to pay.) Well, today I ordered from Walgreens; the entire order was OTC items, no prescriptions. I had not idea that the delivery would actually be handled by Doordash. When the driver got here he asked to see my ID. I showed it to him. He then insisted that he had to take a picture of my ID. I refused several times. I'm not sure if he understood because his English was very limited. Eventually I just went back into the house. A few minutes later DoorDash called me, told me they were sending the driver back and I needed to let him take a picture of my ID. I refused again. I then called Walgreens to ask them why and they said they have no such requirement. So... now, I guess I can't use any delivery options from stores, because dealing with DoorDash is so amazingly unpleasant and I'll never know it's them until it's too late.

Never again! I ordered from a restaurant, EVEN paid express and yet, I NEVER received my order. I ended up getting TWO dashers, one ended up DRIVING the opposite direction and then had another dasher come. They didn’t tell me anything about waiting or such. Cancelled the order. Just to be told that the dasher confirmed having my food. Clearly, it was past the time and I never received my food. What’s the whole point of having DoorDash pass, paying express and then, never receiving the food. I’m over this. The restaurants and dashers always take my food or give me the wrong food or my food is always cold. I’m done with DoorDash after giving them multiple shots. I also talked to 2 agents on chat support. One told me I would also get an email an hour after being reviewed, no email or anything! Then the second one came and she wanted to close the chat. She NEVER resolved my issue and just closed the chat. Never again will I order from DoorDash, they clearly disappoint me time and time again. DoorDash is just getting worse and worse, I hope they shut down.

Update from my review from yesterday April 1, 2024 today is April 2, 2024. Merely an hour or two after I posted my review I got this letter email stating that I had earned top Dasher for the month of March OK so I was scheduled again today eight to one. Go to sign on promotion 22 is unavailable. OK sign on 2 1/2 hours later. I’ve only done $21 but yet I’m supposed to be making, money from the top offers is that’s the top offers they have in business is really hurting. After reviewing all customer reviews, I understand their frustration truly I do I hope the customers can understand the aggravation that drivers are going through particularly the ones who do take pride in their work , I signed off since it was so slow thinking I’m gonna be able to turn back on when I wanted to know the system still says I have to schedule so they lied once again . Maybe they turned off my top Dasher after they received my review I don’t know, but if so, that’s retaliation we’re in America and we do have the freedom of speech.

I placed an order and it was confirmed by doordash and I was given an estimated delivery time. That time came and went with the estimated delivery time changing by the minute. I called the dasher, “Data C,” who told me he was waiting outside the restaurant. After another 15 minutes I texted him. No reply. I called him again and he said his service went dark and I could cancel the order or “maybe” another driver would pick it up and deliver it to me. I then called doordash customer service. The person who answered got my name and problem and then the call went directly to the survey to ask if my problem was solved. After this, I drove to the restaurant and picked it up myself after it had sat there for almost an hour. I asked them about how to get a refund for the delivery fee and tip and they said I would need to contact doordash. After I returned home, I called customer service back to let them know I wanted a refund for the delivery fee and tip. After almost 20 minutes of being on hold I was told the fees were already processed and would need to contact the restaurant. Obviously, the process is not meant for refunds. So I told them I would no larger argue about the fee or tip - they could keep it - but what I would do was cancel my membership along with the monthly dash pass I was paying for. My family places a lot of doordash orders, so taking our business away will be a loss of much more for this company. Membership was promptly cancelled after hanging up with customer service. I want to note this isn’t the first time we’ve had a driver fail to deliver our order. Goodbye Doordash!!

First time ever ordering with door dash. I ordered at 01:32 hours and followed the tracking. The delivery was supposed to arrive at 0155-0207, but kept extending so it Took an hour to arrive. Food was cold. Why would I want to eat cold meat on chips? That was disappointing. Driver Parmin said he took a long time as he had two other orders. Unacceptable!!! I will never ever order from door dash again. You failed to deliver food to me efficiently, who likes to be given cold food. I would like a refund Door dash! But here's to dreaming eh!

Customer service is terrible, she could not even spell after I repeated 3 times. I am not a customer but I get calls all the time on my business line and its a recorded message, it may be spam. I wish they would stop calling me. I did not order anything and they keep calling me. Time to report them.......

As a delivery driver for door dash since the beginning of this year I can honestly say l have experienced just about every issue there is with door dash . Issue with the app, issues with red lock tabs at locations for shop and pay and injuring myself because of it. Felt sabotaged on that order. No one ever got back to me on it even though I reported it. Location sharing happens to be an issue. Driver should make sure that their apps are updated at all times because if there is an app update apparently it shuts off your location sharing so make sure you update your app frequently because they don't send out notices. A real safety concern there. Now let’s talk about earnings with DoorDash. You scheduled yourself for a certain zone. You only get orders in that zone yet often during your shift you can be taken many miles up to 22 miles that I know of out of zone to do a delivery. now the app will say looking for orders on the way back, however, in the months that l've been driving and the nany many many out of zone orders I have delivered. I have only received a total of three orders on the way back to zone. If you were permitted to stay in zone, you can do fairly well with DoorDash monetarily however, if you spend half your day out of zone and you rack up your miles and you do the math, you're lucky if you break even. I have been on the phone with DoorDash on a few occasions now not that I wish to believe me for the injury for the location sharing for other issues with the app and I really get the feeling that they just don't like me even though I have a 4.98 rating at this point in time and 100% ac-ceptance, rating, and completion rating With a 96% on time delivery which they say by their standards is high so l'm not sure if they have a problem with me or if they just treat all their Dashers this way. Inquiry minds want to know. A@.consumeraffairs.com. Update since my consumer affairs review. This morning was scheduled to work 8 to 1. Turned on DoorDash around 745. It indicated to Dash now, but it did not offer me proposition 22 for the hourly rate. OK so I signed on first order of the day they want to send me to a place where I gave a very unfavorable review due to being bullied for picking up one of DoorDash’s orders, I declined going to that place again which ruined my 100% acceptance rating then they want to send me on two other orders that were ridiculous in mileage and rate of pay but yeah I’m supposed to be getting the best offers with my hundred percent acceptance rating really Drivers beware if they don’t like you, they won’t treat you right

I have been cheated 4 times my supplies delived to who knows where refund or recovery process non existent they are mean and unreliable!! don't use these guys!!! I don't have food or allergy pills I ordered so im hungry and stuffy!!

I ordered a meal, paid for the meal plus taxes, delivery fee, and tip. Just over $41. I called the restaurant because it was their screw-up. They told me that I had to go through DoorDash. After an hour of dealing with two of DoorDash's clueless, obviously offshore, so-called customer service agents, they emailed me a rejection of refund. This was after telling me that the photo they insisted that I take of my receipt had to go to a "special team" for review, that it could take 12 hous (!), and went on and on about their process and documentation. I could not care less about their processes, nor should I have to. A mistake was made. All the customer should have to do is report it. This was strike three. Never again. I didn't want to give them even one star.

It is really frustrating already to see that you have not received all the items you have ordered and then to contact them to also hear that you will be paying for an item that they did not send and they will not refund you. This is just absurd and not acceptable. I am deleting my app and not going to order from it ever again!!!!!!

DoorDash has gone to HELL! Restaurants can just send the wrong items or even more times than not just leave out items all together - just for DoorDash to do NOTHING and they keep your money!! Last straw, cancelling TODAY and going to a legit service!
