Missed my delivery the first time even though I was at home. Then asked to deliver to a DPD locker and that didn’t happen either as the driver couldn’t locate their own lockers. Seriously? Also, no notification or email was sent to inform me about this. I needed the parcel urgently as I was going away the next day and this has completely ruined my time away. Called DPD the next day to see if they could redirect it to Bournemouth from Exeter and they told me they couldn’t redirect or provide any compensation for the inconvenience. Absolutely useless delivery service. Don’t know why people use them. Why don’t you provide the driver with the customers number to call them like Amazon do? If you are interested in improving your service, the reference number to my complaint is 109904316 By the way your app is pretty useless.

Completely awful service. All I asked was they picked up a parcel from a hotel and take it to another address. That's what they are meant to be good at. The parcel is still sitting in the hotel loading bay as requested with labels on. They failed to collect TWICE. Then claimed there was nothing to collect. They have no customer service, they subcontract their collections, and have no idea what is going on. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE if you ever want to see your parcel or your money again.

Company opened my item and stole my package. 500$ item gone just like that. Faked my signature. Do not sent packages with this company. It’s a scam!

A complete fraud! As other complainants below have commented their complaints procedure is a lie. The phone lines cut you off and nobody responds. Just prerecorded nonsense. The website is deliberatley obfuscatory and nebulous and sends you round in circles. My parcel was not delivered and neither was a collection card left. I received a message saying that I had received it (false especially as I use a storage unit to collect mail etc.) from "Emma" and that it also gone back to the depot. Both can't be true. The so-called "chat" option is obviously automated and just stops communication. Utter liars. Next step Citizens Advice.

Pathetic, failed to deliver, got an e-mail from IKEA saying my order had been cancelled. They tried to say I had stipulated click and collect which I hadn't, kept getting e-mails from DPD saying they would deliver that day, then the next day another e-mail saying they would deliver next day. Shambles.

Can’t do this any lower. Waited over two hours after latest delivery window and they dared to lie that it was delivered over two hours earlier. I had even chosen a safe place and notified them of this way past the delivery window. Not happy. There were two men, why did they want to know what was in the box as well? I have film timed and dated, I’m not the one lying.

Unaccountable charlatans, to gaslight your customers doesn’t seem a winning strategy. Telling me they’ve tried to deliver when they haven’t even given a time slot and provided no proof considering I was home. It’s incompetence or calculated, either way they’re thieves.

Martha Street E1 2PX Awful Service. Firstly, it was closed - we had to ask a neighbour on when they would open, we were told we had to bang on the doors snd someone should open the door - which they did Secondly, we were there 15 minutes while the lady tried to take our parcel, she didn't know what she was doing, eventually we were told we couldn't leave the package, so we left. We were then called an hour later with an apology but told "The lady doesn't understand English so didn't know what we wanted" which is not true, but more worringly she told us "The lady doesn't work there and was covering for some time" It's shocking that someone that has not bee trained or works there can look after parcels of value I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DROP OFF !!

Just awful. I was in all the time; got a message to say they missed me and indeed there is a photograph of my front door but they didn't knock and they didn't leave a note. Their telephone number doesn't work and they disconnected three times from their supposed live chat. Utterly useless performance.

A bunch of muppets. Claim to have missed us but the driver never appeared. This has happened before.

Was told my parcel had been delivered to myself at my address this morning. In fact the proof photo was of nobody in my household, holding a box (so no distinguishing front door etc). Having chased up the delivery with the supplier who provided a GPS of the delivery, turns out it was left at a house on the completely opposite side of the village! I am now off on a hunt the parcel afternoon. My house has a clearly displayed name & post code; why lie & say it was delivered to me at my address when it clearly wasn’t? And we’ve been at home all day. Just sheer laziness I suppose. Would not use DPD local given a choice. Hopeless & unreliable.

Waited in on delivery day received a text from DPD to say parcel could not be delivered because driver did not have my PIN code. No delivery attempt had been made. Rand DOD and was assured they would chase the delivery and deliver today. Then received a text to say delivery had been changed to tomorrow as requested by me. Rand DOD again and was lied to by advisor who then disconnected me

There is something really wrong with the system that this delivery company has in place in Edinburgh. The managers who sit in their warm positions for 15-20 years must go. Whose idea from DPD is to send a slot in the same day of the delivery? Do you think that the receivers will take a day off to wait for the slot to be announced and then to wait for the delivery itself? If you want to announce a slot do it the day before. Do you do the slot system for the convenience of your drivers or for the convenience of your customers? I took time off yesterday - 14th Nov and waited for THE SLOT at 12:37. The slot was for 18:44-19:44. I broke my legs to come back to the house to meet your driver Michael. Not only Michael didn’t turn up at the SLOT, but nothing happen till 21:44, when finally an update was sent - “not delivering today”. Thank you Michael for the 4 hours you made me wait. Today, 15th Nov another delivery is expected, but I cannot waste a second day in a row with your random slots, only helpful for your drivers. Also, this company has disabled their phones. You can only listen to automatic nonsense or chat to bots. I chatted to Chirag and I am still not sure if he was a human or a bot. He was just copying and pasting the same sentences with no interest in the issue. Same thing with Daniel from the WhatsApp chat - he copies and pastes the same automated text and no personal try to help at all. I was supposed to receive my expensive parcel on 14th Nov. Tomorrow is 16th Nov and I have to request another time off from work to meet and match with you, unorganised DPD, Edinburgh depot. Chirag, Michael the driver and WhatsApp Daniel - put some personal interest in the problems the customers experience. Your service is below 0.

Package 1 - delivered to what looked to be a pile of rubbish- signature was marked shed. Not our shed, or any neighbour’s. Not recognised by anyone on village whatsapp. Luckily sender sent another one Package 2 - message came through before delivery window saying driver had missed me. I had been at home - no sign of van in road. Picture of a difference road shown in tracking system. Furthermore - the complaints / contact signposting is designed to be obfuscating and reduce contacts - you need to search for and go into the actual complaints policy to find it. It seems to me that they don’t have enough reliable drivers - or enough customer agents to process issues. Ps - in this reviews interface there are extra questions about who made the delivery and when. You need options for ‘nobody’ and ‘they didn’t’.

This is slavery work. I was working at Dudley port on shift work 10pm-7:30am. I was working on the conveyor belts moving HEAVY boxes. The work is SOLID, you don’t stop work for even 1 minute. 9 hours is solid graft for small money. Shift managers think we are robots, and shout FASTER FASTER FASTER. Discusting to think you can treat workers like this just because we are not English.

I wish I can give zero mark. It’s horrible experience that I have. I stay at home for all day to wait for the parcel. The driver Osman didn’t horn or knock the door or call me to let me know he is outside. Then he took the photo that not even in the correct door and show on my app. It’s so stupid, that door even you can’t get in. I try to contact customer service, they use very rude attitude to speak with me and they said I should contact dos local, but my parcel is international parcel and I get the notification from dpd, why I need to contact dpd local? Then they cut off my line twice, if you don’t want to deal with problems then why you work in customer service department? I am sorry to be mean but their service just rubbish.

DPD utterly useless company Urgent medical supplies were supposed to be delivered today, but all the driver (James according to tracking) couldn't be bothered to get out of his van, so just took a picture of the side of the road beside my house. The whole family were in today, no call, no card was left. The AI chat bot is a waste of time, as if the van has stopped near the property that apparently is good enough not to deliver. You can't talk to a human to complain Very very poor service Very Very poor company

The worst service company in UK. I live in Clacton, they say 'we miss you', tracking the parcel there is the attempted delivery location in Chelmsford. Yes, probably they missed me.
