"sorry we missed you". Got this message, contacted customer services to confirm drivers GPS showed he hadn't even tried. Depot unable to contact driver so parcel taken to parcel shop so I could collect it. Not even the parcel shop in my town! I can't remember the last time DPD made a successful stress free delivery to my home. Can't understand how the parcelforce, DHL and hermes can manage it and dpd can't

This is probably the most unprofessional company on the market today, there is virtually no way to contact the driver or customer service, shipments arrive during my working hours and after 2 days they return the shipment to the sender, absolutely avoid this company, the people who work there are probably either out of their minds or have no idea of a professional approach to the customer.

Driver took a picture of my front door but did not knock the door or ring the bell. Then he left the missed you flyer outside on my doorstep. I was home, windows open just a few feet from the door so know he never knocked nor rung the bell. I contacted customer services and was told I’d be charged £2 a minute. When I received my phone bill they charged me £101. Apparently I had called a third party number but although I was complaining to DPD customer services about the cost of the call no-one gave me an alternative number to call. I asked for a manager to call me back no one called me back. I wrote to the CEO to have the matter looked into so I could get a refund for the cost of the calls. I was referred to the SLT team who have so far refused to help me. No apology offered either. I am now following a line of enquiry with the consumer helpline through citizens advice. I have also emailed the CEO again and am awaiting a response. I will never use DPD again. Nor will I order goods from a third party who uses DPD. I ordered my goods from Ugg so am utterly disgusted by all this.

Very bad service! The driver doesn’t even call. Instead says the person isn’t available and leaves it to deliver on some other day. Customer care people are of no use .

Avoid if you can!!! I sent my parcel by service called Classic Air. It should be delivered within 6 – 7 working days. It is now more than 2 weeks and the parcel is not delivered yet. I tried to contact Customer Service – no chance! The phone number which is given will only allow you to talk to… a robot who can only trace your parcel. I tried to contact them by form I found on their website. I filled in all fields and when pressed Submit button – nothing, the form is simply not working. I was using DPD for few years but now it will be my last choice courier service.

Absolutely appalling and non existent customer service - having had yet another DPD next day parcel "disappear" - I emailed the customer service and CEO and had a contact saying they could not find the parcel - they received it at 0721 in the local distribution centre yet it then "disappeared" - I am assuming someone in DPD is making a living out of this! - Promised a call back but nothing and when I raise the issue I get an acknowledgement that they will come back to me within 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Worse that - even worse than Hermes

Courier failed to deliver the parcel twice. First time they said we were out, but we weren’t. The second time they posted a photo of a house that wasn’t ours and said we were out. The photo actually had a different house name on it than ours!! I was told that the courier would ring us that afternoon to arrange a drop off later on in the day, but they failed to ring. The customer service were as useful as a chocolate fire guard.

We were expecting a parcel for our business with great urgency - however our delivery driver delivers our parcel to a different shop instead due to laziness of reading our business name/ address properly. When contacting the main offices they are not able to get hold of their delivery driver (what's the point of having a phone?!) and are having to message him in the hope of him reading the message and delivering it to us in time. I wouldn't leave a bad review if it's the first time, but it has now happened NUMEROUS TIMES with the DPD DELIVERY DRIVERS, who seem to be unable to read addresses correctly and deliver it to the right addresses. - If you read the other reviews on this page you can see that this happens quite a lot with DPD. If other drivers from different companies can deliver parcels to us correctly, I am unable to understand why ALL THE DPD DRIVERS keep missing our address and delivering it somewhere else (probably due to their convenience). You shouldn't do a job if you only look at your convenience and work to finish your job quickly because you hate it! DPD should hire professional drivers who can do the job properly instead of hiring just anyone that applies. They also don't seem to have a complaint procedure, hence no action is taken. Such a poor service. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED WITH DPD!

The guy who came to collect my parcels refused to pick them up when he fell his virility impacted by my being stronger than him in lifting a box. He should have lifted up to 30 kg my box was 23 kg and he went away twice saying that he couldn’t collect it for the shape of the box. If you cannot collect 20 kg courier is not the job for you. I had to request a refund and left my box behind, all because someone is not ok with their own body. If you live in Leytonstone that thin guy won’t collect your 20 kg parcel. Very disappointing.

I sent a parcel over 10 days ago to a company the company have said they haven't received the parcel. I received an email from DPD stating they made two attempts to delivery but no body was there.the company Its was being delivered to said they are open Monday to Friday normal hours,and they use DPD for all there items to send out .I contacted customer service who then sent me a confirmation the information had been sent to the investigation team and would get back to me they told me what depot it was at and would get it delivered .but as from yesturday 1st July nothing has been received.i no I will not be using this company again

I received a parcel from a driver directly then I received a text to informed that my another parcel will be deliver pick up shop as nobody at home. But I was in, nobody rang my bell. I've experienced that the driver left my parcel to the main door post of building when I was in. He delivered a parcel to me then arranged to deliver my another parcel to pick up shop with lie(because I was in) after about 40min. I called customer services as soon as I received the notice to re-arrange. I asked to change deliver to my place, I can wait tomorrow, a day after tomorrow but they said NO, the parcel is not deliver to the collect shop but they can not change the details. I asked them to try to contact with the driver to deliver or just post door post later or tomorrow but they said NO. I asked her whether I did anything wrong?, she said NO but they cant change. I paid fees for delivery but I treated by them unhappy way, which I do not want to choose. To go to pick up shop is really inconvenient. I would definitely not recommend this company.

Wouldn't even give one star, just because i don't live on a main road and driver has to walk a few metres, they never deliver, one delivery attempt and my parcel is on its way back to the the originator. Our local DPD driver needs sacking he is just down right lazy.

Awful service. I was expecting a parcel and received text telling me of approximate delivery time. There was no delivery. The next day, the same thing happened. I phoned the company and asked for a callback as they were busy. No callback. I wouldn’t use them if I had the choice.

Although there is no photographic evidence, DPD insist they have delivered my parcel. They haven’t. I firmly believe it has been stolen by the driver. They will not, because they cannot provide any evidence to say it has. Disgusting service.

Terrible and unreliable service. Driver claimed to have tried to deliver but lied. I have been sitting in waiting then fet a message that he tried to deliver but couldn't. Absolute bull. Don't use them.

Not even worth one star. They lie to try and cover damages/ mistakes over parcels. Don't listen to customers Write incorrect information regarding conversations Terrible service

In my two experiences they faked the delivery! When i asked for proof of delivery they couldn’t provide it but insisted the delivery was made.
