DPD tried to deliver a parcel yesterday but I was out. They left a card saying they were taking care of our planet by taking my parcel to my nearest DPD pickup shop. Brilliant, so I thought, until I found out where it had been taken too. I had a 45 min round trip / 12 miles to go and get my parcel. My nearest pickup shop is 1.5 miles. Helping the Planet? You are most definitely not. Greenwashing? DPD most certainly are. I'll avoid brands now who use DPD. And to make matters worse, I called customer service and asked for a manager to call to be back which I was told they would within two hours and I'm still waiting 8 hours later.

DPD said they tried to deliver and I wasn't home...I've been home all day and front door was left open. When I called them to ask why they didn't call said they are not obliged to call. Very disappointed as the parcel got initially delayed by them

Even If I could give them no star, it would not reflect how bad they are. In my 10 years of ordering things I have never ever received a package at my door, from DPD. Their driver NEVER rings the doorbell. They ALWAYS redirect the parcel to a local shop. One time I had to physically go to the Enfield warehouse on Christmas eve eve, to pick up a parcel because they are so freaking bad. They require ID and proof of address at pick up location WITHOUT stating they need proof of address. Who carries paper copies in 2022. Honestly. Worst drivers, stupid policies, disfunctional. You are worse than Hermes and they even steal packages...!

Had 2 delivery's from DPD this past month. The first one never actually bothered to try my house (I had taken the afternoon off work to ensure I was home) and just took it straight to the local depot where I couldn't pick it up over the weekend. The second, refused the parcel because it 'doesn't have a house number on the parcel ' which is a full lie because its in big bold writing, its in the confirmation email they sent me and is also on the app. Again having to wait until Monday to go pick it up. What's the point in paying for at home next day delivery when it doesn't get delivered to your house and you cant recieve the parcel the next day? Was also on hold for 20 minutes before I could get get to anybody. Complete waste of time

Parcel arrived a day earlier than accepted, no attempt was made to leave it with our (always accommodating) neighbour. No option to rearrange delivery was made, instead it was taken to a DPD pick up shop some distance away that is only open during weekday office hours, i.e. when I am working. I have absolutely no way to collect my parcel within the 7 day deadline. According to DPD customer services this is a wonderful 'new service' and they are unable to assist.

This is by far the worst delivery experience I have ever had. I paid extra for next day delivery for some time sensitive goods that I needed before Tuesday 3rd may. I placed the order on Wednesday 27th and the seller dispatched them the same day. The DPD driver rang my ring doorbell, and I asked them to leave it with my neighbour who I had already checked was in and at home before I left. I spoke to the driver via the doorbell and asked him to drop it off at number 40, my next door neighbour. He said “no problem”. Then I watched the driver via my ring doorbell just get back into his van and drive off. I tried to contact DPD but they kept purposely cutting me off of the chat, meaning I'd get a new operator and start again. 3 hours of this later and I was forced to pay another £9.99 to upgrade my delivery to a weekend delivery. Today, I get the message that it's been delayed and won't arrive until Tuesday. I have tried to ask for a refund, but now there are no operators on the chat, the phone lines do not go through to a human and there is no other way to contact or complain. On the same day, I get another email for another parcel. "We attempted your delivery today but no one was in, we've left it at a supermarket for you to collect instead" This supermarket will cost me £35 for a taxi to take me there and back. I do not give permission for my parcel to be there. I have had to contact the company I bought the goods from and ask for a full refund. I eventually managed to get through to a human on the phone line but customer services were unwilling to help me in any way. They were also unwilling to refund me for the £9.99 I'd paid for the upgraded weekend delivery. No one was in because it was a business address and it was supposed to be delivered on the 29th and there was no mention or warning of a delivery coming today. I had to file a dispute via PayPal to get the refund. This is why I will never use DPD as the courier for my business. We send over 700 parcels a day via DHL. Your sales managers keep calling me but there is no chance of me ever signing up and putting my customers through this. I currently have one parcel at a supermarket somewhere that I can’t get to, I’ve had to contact the seller and ask them to repost me new goods using a different courier. And another parcel at your delivery depot, which is now useless to me. So I had to contact the seller who have now refunded me in full, and they have said they will be claiming for the losses from DPD. Business is about making life easier for your customers, making life impossible for your customers is a certain way to lose them. I’ll be leaving reviews absolutely everywhere, and I’ll update the reviews to let them know what DPD have done (should they do anything) to resolve this. Currently the customer services department are 100% completely unwilling to helpo in any way. They simply say “Yes your parcel is available to collect at Morrisons from May 3rd” “You will have to contact the seller to complain” Absolutely shocking. I would like to take this further, so I would appreciate a reply. The parcel numbers are: 15505715759770 & 15504510781912 Kind regards. Nathan.

Let down on dozens of occasions. Own a 24hr manned bar with good access. Have multiple deliveries every day and over half the occasions it’s DPD I get a lie saying I wasn’t in. All regular suppliers have retained their contracts with me under condition my orders automatically state DPD will not be accepted. Just ordered from a new supplier on trial and DPD with the same lie. Having to cancel the order. This is a company not to rely on, they will loose you customers

Two deliveries in a row delivered to a completely different street to mine. No comment on the first but the second said on the tracking I had received it with a photo of a front door that's not mine and lying when it started that I actually signed for it !!!!! Thankfully each person who got my goods through their letterbox brought them to me, doing the delivery drivers job. What's the point of employing these drivers if they dont want to do the job. Wheres the question below for items never turned up.

Next day delivery takes 5 day. Next day delivery is based on when they pick up the parcel from the drop off shop. I dropped off on Thursday early afternoon, parcel will be delivered on Wednesday.

That's two orders I've made over the last wee from major suppliers. One company (Sony) offered 2 day delivery instead of 5 for extra money which I paid. The parcel arrived in..... 5 DAYS!!!!! Then when I complained to them they said to get a refund from Sony. No, this is your fault, don't promise what you can't deliver. The next order (Sky), I was told would be next day delivery if ordered that morning. Today I wake up to a delivery date of .......... 5 DAYS!!!! Both parcels being delivered from and to UK addresses. Absolutely useless. Are the retailers aware this is happening? I would suggest using another delivery company as your customers will be disappointed.

There's a number of poor delivery companies but DPD can be proud of the fact that they're the worst of the lot. Expected two packages delivered from same sender on the same day. One arrived (although instruction to leave outside front door was ignored), the other has been returned to sender because “recipient was not available”. So seems I was available for one (despite nobody knocking my door) but not for the other. No option to even select another delivery attempt.

One star is 10 too many for this shower of proverbial sh't. They text you to advise that their driver will be with you between certain hours but their drivers are clearly a shower of sh't because they fail to show up. Even after contacting the sender who asked DPD to call me on my mobile when they were at my address, the DPD driver failed to do so. I mean, how useless must the driver be? I would never send anything ever through DPD and I will ask sellers if they use DPD before ordering. If they do use DPD, I won't be placing an order. Dire, pathetic dopes (DPD)

I never received my parcel, when I made an enquiry about parcel suddenly my tracking said it was delivered 4 days prior. I don’t believe them, as I was home, they made it very difficult for me but eventually I got a refund.will not be buying from sellers that use this woeful delivery service.

If I can give them 0 stars I would . I was having a good delivery and they left the food in their depot forgot to pick it up . So I have to throw out a week worth of food , because they can’t follow simple instructions. I also had another package where the driver didn’t even bother to turn up . It’s got to the point that I would refuse to buy from places where they use DPD Their customer service is terrible ! Never helpful .

(0 stars if i could) Customer service is appalling no interest in helping at all. My parcel was delivered to a different town? (Hinckley) i live in Stafford. passed onto 3 different depots and nobody seems to understand, and couldn't be less interested.so no further forward very frustrated NO PARCEL (someone else has a bargain)out of pocket and one very upset four year old. I will think twice if the company i order from in the future use DPD.

I asked for the parcel to be delivered to a safe place at my house. The parcel was not delivered but i was sent a photo of a cafe a mile away saying they could not deliver! They had also tried to take it to another cafe 2 miles from the first. DPD make it impossible to complain.

I was literally watching the map on the app and was standing outside the door to make sure the driver found it okay(had the app set up with a photo of my place, instructions and my phone number). And then it suddenly got sent for redelivery to their collection point! Claims they tried to deliver at 14:09 and said I wasn’t home when I was waiting at the front door at 14:00 until my hour slot passed. You need to sort your drivers out. I needed my parcel today and I paid for delivery as it is a heavy laptop, but your “attempt” to try to deliver is ridiculous! I feel robbed, I would have rather picked it up from my local currys instead of getting it delivered to my house knowing I’d be paying for a service that results in me having to travel to collect it.
