Worst company ever. It's just not worth the hassle using them as I've spent the last week chasing up/calling them about a parcel which they don't seem to be able to grasp the concept of communicating clear delivery instructions to their drivers. I'm sick to the back teeth of telling them the same thing over and over and no outcome. I can't believe Amazon still uses them based on the reviews on here!!! Horrible horrible company

The driver that was meant to deliver my parcel (Marius), has made no attempt at delivery whatsoever. Both my partner and I were in the house, and we were in our upstairs bedroom window when we noticed the DPD van being parked outside the house. We both looked at the driver sitting in his van for a couple minutes, waiting for him to leave his van and get my parcel before heading downstairs to open the front door. To our shock, the driver just stood on the pavement at the street and took a picture of my front door, ran towards my door, slipped a missed parcel card through our letterbox, made no effort whatsoever of knocking on the door or to wait more than one second, ran back towards his van and drove off. All the while he was walking towards my house, I started heading downstairs to the front door, but by the time I realised What he had done, he was in his van and drove off without looking back. I then contacted your team on the live chat, and they basically told me there was nothing they could do and I would get a re-delivery tomorrow. No delivery attempt was made. He was being too lazy to knock on our door or to do his job properly, just slipped a card through our letterbox and drove off. I am also nearly certain that he saw us staring at him from the windows, but he made no effort to deliver the parcel nonetheless. I find this absolutely unacceptable. I have paid £6.85 for this delivery, and would have expected my parcel to be delivered the next working day as promised. This parcel was not delivered due to no fault of my own, and I should therefore be entitled for a refund on my shipping cost. I am now forced into organising for someone to be there to receive this parcel tomorrow, when we had other plans.

The worse delivery company ever. First they tell me my package is delayed. Now, they tell me my package was refused by me. Its unbelievable! Nasty delivery men as well. Dishonest company!!

Lost a parcel valued at £150. When I say lost, it went ‘missing’ between collection point and depot. Big bright green parcel. I noticed a problem on the app within 3 days, but when I tried to sort with the call centre, was passed around like a ping pong ball over 3+weeks. Communication very poor, complete system and procedure failure, and £50 compensation. I am now out of pocket by £100 due to the theft of their employee. No action taken by DPD.

Terrible attempted to deliver 3 times they have said my neighbor is 80 years old and has never left her home since March! No phone line answered just says parcel out for delivery live chat is useless! Avoid at all costs!

If I could I would give ZERO stars. Absolutely useless company,ordered a 1 off valuable item from a company that uses dpd services,after getting the run around of excuese's from there customer services finally admitted there at fault and parcel is missing,and they wouldn't file an investigation on my part I had to contact seller who then in return had to get on to the to file an investigation absolute joke,not once did I get a sorry, or a genuine feeling they were going to track find my parcel,Stay well away from this company absolutely run by clowns.

They lost my package (sent it to another country!) because they switched the labels along the way. Only way to speak to them is on chat and they take 30 min each time to only send me a scripted message asking me to wait fir the investigation. It's been 13 days.. never never again.

I got a card to say they missed me and would deliver the next day. I waited in all day and no delivery but later got an email from the seller to say it had been returned to them. Not impressed one bit

Awful company, been waiting all day for my sons late birthday present when I get a text to say -sorry we missed you :-( they had not tried and it was coming to a business premises that is street fronted and well signed with CCTV and not even attempted to deliver. Yodel are better than this bunch of muppets

Asked for parcel to be delivered to a neighbor. Quite clear instruction. I get a text to say no one at home. Neighbor not even seen the driver pull up outside my house and they have been in all morning. Going to redeliver tomorrow....... see what happens

Don't take accountability when they get it wrong. Delivered a parcel to the wrong address and even though I had the delivery 'confirmation' photo as proof it was the wrong address, still don't recompense customers - you have to go through the seller as they "don't deal directly with customer complaints". They are a business, which means they have a finance department, which means they should be able to recompense customers when they so blatantly screw it up instead of turning it into a 10 step process and leaving you out of pocket.

To be honest i gave just about a 20% chance for the parcel to be delivered as promised by the DPD. From now on I will be avoiding buying goods from companies, who use the "dpd next day service " If they can't deliver the parcel, no need to lie to costumers and waist their time. I wouldn't say a word if they can notify in advance that they can't deliver today but will deliver tomorrow.

Absolutely shocking "service". Parcel reported as being delivered to a house that has been derelict for over 60yrs, not even on the same road. Bad enough to have to deal with customer service once (a pointless exercise) but the driver has just gone and done it again! Rang enquiring as to my orders whereabouts and told "Patrick" I was just home from hospital after a hip procedure and can't go on the treasure hunt I apparently signed for. His response was "you mustn't be too bad when you can ring me complaining"!!!! DPDs incompetence, ignorance and blatant stupidity is astounding. Will add photos of my new/old house! Advise anyone to find an alternative to DPD

Today was the 5th time this month a package has failed to be delivered to my house. Drivers claim that no one was home during the delivery slot, but this is a complete lie. It's the same pattern every time. I'm not sure what the issue is as all other companies deliver successfully on time. My guess is that either DPD drivers are cancelling slots on purpose due to unachievable delivery schedules or that they just can't be bothered. Customer service is equally dismal. I'm not sure whether the blame is on individuals who work for the company or the company itself and the conditions that are set for DPD workers. It seems that DPD as a company that set ridiculous delivery schedules promising the earth and under-delivering, forcing employees to have to resort to these tactics of cancelling delivery slots to keep up with the schedule and avoid penalties or repercussions from DPD. This is simply the worst delivery service and one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with.
