Had the immense displeasure of using DPD 3 times for my own packages going outbound and a few coming in, every one of the 3 sent items were mysteriously lost (all were hand made, bespoke items carved from wood and burned on, 15+ hours work per item) and I honestly don't remember them delivering a package on time to me if at all. Today they were supposed to deliver a package to me (a phone I had repaired) between 12:30 and 1:30pm, I waited in the house with a friend and our dog for almost the full hour when I got a message saying "Sorry, we missed you!". Nobody in the house heard the door we were sat 6ft from, not even the dog who goes absolutely MENTAL the second someone gets within 3ft of the house, so there's absolutely no way "Andis" knocked on the door. Phoned them to find out what they are playing at and got told "Oooh, I'm sooo sorry! That's sooo baaaad! We will speak to the driver when they get back and deliver the package on Monday." No way of making the driver get their lazy backside back to do their damn job, just wait until Monday and do without the phone you were supposed to get today but we couldn't be bothered to deliver. I even asked them why they didn't just give me a quick call since they have my number, their response? "Our drivers use their personal phones so some of them don't do that". Well maybe provide them with a work system that allows them to quickly call the customer as they arrive like other companies do then? Not hard to use common sense is it? DPD are, quite comfortably, the worst delivery company in the UK. I would rather use Hermes and I once saw one of their trucks almost tip trying to do a U-turn on a mini island, a company who's drivers aren't smart enough to realise they can't turn an articulated lorry around a mini island are better deliverymen than DPD, think about that for a minute. You've either got to be exceptionally bad at your job or willfully providing as poor a service as possible to be that bad.

Absolutely useless once again! I never shop with companies that use DPD for delivery as they are totally incompetent to deliver on time, but this company didn't specify who they used for delivery now I know I will never shop with them again and I will be sure to tell them why!

I have had enough with this company. We live above a row of shops and yes we may be a little tricky to find but every other delivery company seems to find us just fine with no issues. DPD however don't even try to attempt to deliver to our flat. They are lazy and useless and EVERY SINGLE TIME I've had a DPD delivery they have given it to the shops below us. The shops have very kindly taken our parcels in but they are getting as annoyed as I am about the laziness of the staff. I have tendinitis in my wrist so carrying heavy items is a no no, yet I still have to carry it up to my flat in pain! I have complained about this before but nothing has been done. I dread every time I see that DPD are the ones delivering. If I could choose not to have them, I would opt out every time. Useless.

DPD is the only pacel delivery company who does not want to reach to the customer. No phone call, no attempt to leave the package in the garden in a safe place. They are dumb and rather they return the package to the seller. What a terrible service!

They love playing knock a door dash telling you waiting on my delivery and watched him pull up take a picture and leave didn't bother knocking on DPD are a joke

What an awful state of affairs !!! DPD failed to deliver again today. Gave a 1 hour time window for delivery - message saying driver was delayed but would be with us shortly - then message saying he missed us, with a picture of just a grass roadside verge. I WAS ACTUALLY OUTSIDE WAITING FOR THE DELIVERY FOR OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF.

I have taken two days off from work to make sure I am at home while the parcel arrives, both days today and yesterday I have received a text saying it couldn’t be delivered as I am not at home with a photo of the main door taken but no one called at the intercom!! Worse service I have experienced !!!!

5 days may be more they're keeping my parcel in depo l was contact who was send to me parcel they was shock how not arrive something going wrong in this dpd company

Absolutely useless. We are in a large complex with a reception office. Driver apparently arrived, made no attempt to contact us (We had provided a contact number to Dyson - it was a collection arrangement to pick up a faulty machine); and he simply drove off again. Cannot get through to anyone at DpD - recorded messages only. Total waste of my time - waited in especially. Not even worth the one star I have had to give in order to leave this review!

the parcel has been sent out twice and been in the Morley depot for 2 days each time and on both occasions it has been sent back to the sender - no reason given either time. Never had problems with other delivery companies or DPD before. No reason given for non-delivery. No option to collect. After this experience I will not order online if the item is going to be delivered by DPD. I do not want to give 1*

Did is the worst company in the world, the drivers are clueless, they can not be bothered to read the delivery address on the parcels and then when they decide to read the delivery address they don’t bother leaving the van because they are so tired to walk and ring the bell then they decide to deliver it to a pick up shop on the other side of town.their mobile App is a Joke you can not re arrange a delivery because they made the choice for you. Dispointed by their service.

I ordered a hamper to be delivered to my father today Father’s Day and it has been delivered to a property in a different county. AWFUL service. Reading should be a prerequisite for a job in delivery.

You say that you care about environment. Why then you burn fuel twice delivering the same parcel. When your courier can simply make a call ten minutes before he is in the place. In my home country Lithuania DPD does that. That saves your time and fuel , my time as well , and environment you say you care about. I would give a zero if there would be such option

A new idea. Having paid the Amazon supplier for delivery DPD advised that it was not enough and if I want delivery I would have to pay more. A nice scam I haven’t come across before.

Not an option to put minus stars!!! 2 days ago was waiting at home on delivery all day then got email in the evening saying they had tried to delivery but I was not home!! changed the delivery address to a shop so this time I was thinking they would have to do the delivery, got email early afternoon my parcel had been delivered, I called the shop and they said they had not received any delivery and had been in contact with DPD and they would deliver next day. I called DPD who assured me it had been delivered, complete LIE!!!! This morning get an email that they were unable to delivery to my chosen delivery address so they delivered it completely the other end of town to some random shop!!!! I called the shop owner and he had been told that the original shop where I had requested to deliver had been closed for the last week...MORE LIES!!! Called DPD again, worst customer service and experience I have ever received from any delivery company. COMPLETE DISGRACE!!!!! Needless to say I will never order again from any company that uses DPD as a delivery service!!!

I had the worst experience today... I had the worst experience today... I don’t know how you can treat your customers this way.. driver called me that he is outside with my parcel the moment I walked out he was gone.. I tried calling him but nothing. I arrange to re-delivery 3pm same day. Had to take off day from work so I make sure this time driver won’t run away after 1min of waiting. I called couple of times to DPD customer service TO MAKE SURE He is still coming since I’m waiting all day and it was already after 3. Lady on the phone said he is on his way.. almost 2 hours of me waiting I called back again and I was informed that driver finished his job and won’t be coming.. thanks for letting me know. So disrespectful I have no words. They have no regards for their customers.. I am so disappointed with the staff and the way I was treated.. my whole day is ruined
