Second time with DPD just to have my item undelivered. They claim they cannot find the 2 addresses I provide to them, despite having my mobile number.

DPD is not a trustworthy company and do not come across as if they care. Vodafone should not use this company to deliver there goods. First I get a message that DPD will be in touch with my 1 hour time slot then I receive a message saying my delivery will be with me between 06.00 - 22.00 (This is clearly not 1 hour). I rang up DPD and spoke with a lady whom told me that the drivers machine is not working and was running of a run note. but then told me that I was drop of number 18 and he had just dropped off number 12 and was only 20 min away. The lady advised me it would be at my address with in 1 hour so I left work thinking I would be back within an hour. after waiting at home for just over 2 hours I rang again and spoke with a male member of staff who was able to ring the drive (Surprised as the lady earlier said that they could not reach the driver) to see how long he would be. I then get told it would be between 1 -1 1/2 hours as there was 16 more drops before mine (I was told earlier that there was only 6) As you can tell I am very disappointed with DPD, 1) They don't do what they say they will do (1 hour time slots) 2) They don't give you honest information when you call them 3) They don't even come across like they care when you have been sitting at home waiting for them. Dpd tried to deliver my parcel after they rearranged the time on fri 3 Nov without much notice, consequently no parcel for me. After rearranging on line to collect parcel on Sunday at a Halfords centre after 12 as confirmed by them! I made 1 hour round trip to find no parcel had or would be delivered. The reason I would find out was the depot where my parcel was kept was closed Sunday and they new this but sent out conformation emails anyway. Speaking to dpd I was told “ you could not have arranged this you must be mistaken” I have email and text proving this. Next I am told I cannot have parcel redeilvered to my home as it will go to drop off point. (No need to stay in then!) NO I should have stayed home. Just received email and text to tell me dpd have done it again, tried and failed to deliver! Why should the system be so hard and inconsistent! Dpd I hate you!

This has to stop , this company has to shut down , they lie , they don't deliver , they only give false promises , they ruin your weekends and steal your time ,they don't apologise and act that this is how it should be ! Even when you give up and go to their warehouse to pick it up yourself , they can't even find your parcel and you go home to live without your parcel . And all this inconvenience for your own honestly earned money ! They ruined our birthday party , had to cancel doctors appointment , was late for an exhibition and lost the tickets , this not counting wasted time on emails and numureous phone calls ! Retailers that are using them are committing a suicide! From now on I will only be buying from retailers that are NOT using dpd!

My parcel was put through the letterbox of the wrong door. I received a photo of a door with no number on it and was told that it was left in my “safe place”. I contacted customer service who told me that the driver thought he had left it at no. 12. They told me to go and get it. I will not knock on a door of people I don’t know and ask if they have my parcel. That is not what they should be asking anyone to do. At the same time the driver gave me a parcel which I signed for, as I was expecting a parcel, which turned out to be for someone else. I partly opened this parcel thinking it was mine. Luckily the lady who it was for was very understanding. Service like this is totally unacceptable

No delivery when paid for next day. Said no one was in but I was sitting outside waiting.(they lied) Picture driver submitted as 'proof' was of someone's hand! Appalling customer service. Can't get through to a person on the phone just automated service. (Slopey shoulders) tracking keeps stating it will be delivered today....now 6pm on Saturday......Disgraceful disgraceful, disgraceful. Compensation please!!!!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. STILL NO DELIVERY AFTER 4 ATTEMPS. NO ONE AT CUSTOMER SERVICES KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY PARCEL AND DELIVERY. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. THANKS FOR LETTING ME DOWN FOR MY MUM'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PRESENT.

Poor service and laughable customer service. The helpline always says there's a delay because of 'an unusually (?) high number of calls'. Multiple bad experiences. The latest is three failed delivery attempts - despite multiple phone calls and 'chats' on their app they still can't get it right; and no one ever calls back. Why any business would use them is beyond me.

Absolutly awful! I have been delivered a parcel in a pick up shop by my house. Now I cant get my parcel because this stupid shop is closed permanently (dont ask me why) with my parcel inside! DPD told me that the shop is been refurbished and they are trying to get back the parcel but I have been told that everyday and nothing changes. On a top of that the company which sold me the equipment told me that DPD said it was my responsibility because I requested the parcel to be send there, as if I was supposed to know that this shop will be closing. They should choose better their pick up locations its not my problem! Also last time they sent another delivery to a pick up shop without even asking me, I never requested that They also lost one of my parcel, need to be re-delivered on Saturday at my house but I'm sure no one will come as always!

Disgusting, awful service. It is very difficult to envisage this company being around for much longer. I am always at home in full view of the front door during the delivery and not ONCE has a DPD driver appeared. Instead, I receive ‘Sorry you were out...’ messages, complete with fake pictures of what is supposed to be my front door. Each time, I am forced to call customer services - I am appalled to discover how much these calls have been costing me. I would urge customers to continue posting reviews and filing complaints with the companies who use DPD. Eventually DPD’s cheaper courier costs will be offset by the costs of resolving customer complaints, meaning companies will switch to better suppliers.

Their online system, the only way to contact them, was down for over a week. This led to me missing two deliveries I knew I would miss, being unable to communicate this. Their online reps only reply by email once a day at most, leading to huge delays. To phone them would cost pounds per minute. They promised 2 deliveries by email which did not happen, in fact the online system shows it had already been returned to sender at this point. Utter lack of communication or sense in employees.

Much the same as most of their reviews. Lost parcel - only got to Leeds from picking up - no trace again and the parcel was going overseas!!! So sad that this happens so very often through this company. Unfortunately, they will only lose more custom. In the meantime, you pay for stress and not a decent delivery service.... Thanks !!!

They charge customers very cheap and they hit their drivers very hard. I would not recommend ODF to join them. Avoid avoid

Simply awful. Even one star is way too positive. Parcel not delivered, despite repeated confirmations of the delivery time. I have now called the DPD six times and nobody knows anything. They allegedly cannot contact the driver - person called Cyrill (who does not pick up calls from them and who also does not respond to the depo), he failed to show up in the depo. The tracking system online and on the app is useless as the drivers do not update it. And good luck contacting the center - you would be lucky to go through and they might even "accidentally" hang up on you. Avoid as a plague.

As I knew the time slot the delivery was arriving I waited for him, watched him pull up and then leave the box in front of the door, failing to knock or ring the doorbell. I'm not happy about this as again last week my delivery was left at the front door, thinking I must have missed the doorbell, however this must have been what he had done last week too. This is worrying as leaving the box in full view to everyone it could get stolen. Leaving at the front door is certainly not a safe place. The status of delivery is signed for by me, however this is obviously a lie.

Poor service, things don't get delivered, parcels get lost, one day driver delivers, next day 'the address cannot be found', drivers lie in the tracking system, collections do not get returned, time slots do not arrive or arrive in retrospective. Delivery rescheduled without me knowing it. I only hope that a company like this gets naturally out of the market one day.
