I would never expect from a delivery company with a tracking number and tracked details to still your parcel but it still happens. We figured it out how the delivery drivers from DPD does it as it happened to me and my colleagues. They drive to your location they scan they take the parcel from the van, they scan the parcel and then they put it back to the van. Then they sign with your initials/ some initials or your name and the parcel is gone. You make a claim with DPD they make an investigation and they track the driver to your ADDRESS so your claim is lost as they "delivered" and tehy do not take into consideration the fact that you might have cameras around. This is how DPD drivers are stealing your parcel and your nightmare starts.

hardly write reviews, unless the service is exceptionally good. Unfortunately in this case, the service was exceptionally bad and has left me feeling really angry with the situation. I order food from Prep Perfect, a food company that does great food who uses DPD as the delivery service. I was told on Saturday that I was going to receive a message before 11am on a one hour delivery time slot (the delivery slots is between 8am and 5pm) of when the food will arrive. I NEVER RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE, I waited until 12pm for the message, but still nothing so called up the provider. Apparently my food parcel has been forgotten and that the driver was going to pick it up around 1pm and that I will get a message then. AGAIN, THIS NEVER HAPPENED. By 5pm (the delivery slots are between 8am - 5pm) I call them up again and am told that the parcel is going to arrive within 45 minutes, which is already outside of the promised time slot. AGAIN, THIS NEVER HAPPENED. It is now Sunday and I still haven't received the parcel.

Waited in all day for a delivery (12 hours), took the day off work as well. They didn't even show up or inform we they weren't coming. They promised the parcel would instead be delivered to a local DPD pick up point and surprise, surprise I hear nothing from them. Absolutely awful customer service!! If I was to act the same in job, I.E not even bother turning up I would be sacked!!

Waited for a parcel to be delivery between 13:34-14:34. Tracked the delivery van with the app. I was the next delivery. Received a message saying delivery attempted and an attempted delivery card left. Both not accurate. Tried to contact dpd. No phone number to speak with an agent. Where is my parcel? Should be compensated for the time wasted and the terrible customer experience.

As useless as udders on a bull. All as per 93.41% of reviews already posted. Have spent enough time dealing with these cowboys to type anymore on this review. Hopeless

If it would be possible to give 0 - I would have. The company I ordered from told me it would be possible to collect the item on a Saturday from the depot. I travelled 45 mins to the depot where my parcel was. Standing in the rain and only able to talk to someone on an intercom system - the person I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and rude. He told me that there were only 3 staff working in the entire depot (blatant lie) and it would take too long for him to find my package and he essentially couldn't be bothered - because it was Saturday. 30 mins later, again in the soaking rain over an intercom getting essentially no where. Told me couldn't be bothered to find where my package was in the depot - then changed to your item is locked somewhere, and no one in the entire depot has access until Monday. Not one single member of staff can get in. Was told by this delightful person also that the item wasn't even mine by law - even though I had paid for it. Because I hadn't yet signed for it, it was their property. Well - I hoped calling DPD would be more helpful. It wasn't. The first person told me what essentially I already knew - it was all a complete lie. He told me he would contact the depot - then I was cut off. I called again and spoke to a lady who offered to call - was on hold for 5 minutes before telling me she couldn't get through but there was no way I could get this package today - despite being stood outside the depot. I asked if I could pay to get it - or pay to have it delivered on the Sunday which she refused. Essentially - she had got through to the depot and the same person had told her there was no way he would give me my package. I asked to speak to a manager in the office probably between 5-10 times which was met with "why? they aren't gonna tell you any different" before finally speaking to someone who was equally unhelpful I honestly have never encountered such poor service and such a culture of blatant lying and talking to customers like this. The only reason it continues like this is because they know you can't take your custom elsewhere as its the company you order from that is their customer Want my advice? Avoid any company that uses DPD as a courier or you might end up stood outside a depot soaking wet being told your item doesn't legally belong to you and that there are 3 members of staff in the entire building none of whom can help you.

Shambolic!! Our usual driver (Maria) from the Peterborough depot is fantastic, but if she's off we have no chance of getting a delivery. This time, as last time, the moron of a driver didn't even get the right post code. DPD need to buy new Sat Navs or employ drivers with at least three brain cells instead of the muppets they send when Maria's not in. Look at the ratings - over 93% one star!! If I was Boris Winkelmann (their CEO) I would be kicking some backsides, but they appear not to give a toss.

Absolutely poor service. As I was given an hour slot yesterday, I waited in my living room near the door to ensure I could sign for the parcel when it arrived. Suddenly i received an email and text saying DPD tried to deliver my parcel but no one was in and they left a calling card through my letterbox. This was a lie!!! They didn't put a calling card through my door, no one knocked or rang the doorbell. I have a security camera in front of my house and it showed no one tried to approach my front door during that an hour slot. This is the second time DPD driver lied about trying to deliver a parcel when they didn't! Their customer service number for compliant (0121 275 0500) is useless, you are just asked by a recorded voice to reschedule the delivery, there is no option to speak to a real operator! I would cancel any future purchase orders if DPD is involved and I will make sure to let the sellers know the reason!

The driver drove to a side gate to the flats complex and did not bother to ring the bell for the flat or go to the front door to deliver the parcel. I'd paid extra for the delivery to be on the day specified. I finally managed to contact someone to complain and they said they'd send a message to the driver to deliver later in the day and if that wasn't going to be possible for the driver to contact me so that I didn't continue to wait in all day. 5 hours later no word from anyone, no parcel and no idea of when it's going to be delivered. Appalling service

Dreadful customer service. Parcel was supposed to be delivered at a set time. I couldn't be in so asked for it to be left at a collection point. Driver could not be bothered and left it with a neighbour and I cannot retrieve the parcel now. Phone up and the guy on the phone is completely useless. BEWARE the phone call is £6 just to connect.

I am £84 out pocket because DPD delivered an item that was damaged in transit and this was made worse when they failed twice to collect a booked return of the item leaving me unable to obtain refund. But the worst experience was the lies told by staff at their Dagenham depot when they told the company I was trying return item to that "they had tried several times to collect the item" but the collection failed because "the item was not ready to collect". LIARS, I have evidence that depot never allocated the item for collection and lied to the intended recipient.

I purchased multiple products from both eBay and Amazon. I was messaged by DPD that the products would arrive on Thursday for my eBay purchased and Monday for my amazon purchases. So I live in a flat which has a buzzer and a tradesmen buzzer which allowed tradesmens such as caretakers, postmen and deliveries to enter the premises if they weren’t buzzed in. Both buzzers are really loud and the fact that I live directly above the main enterence I can hear when someone uses the buzzer outside. For my eBay purchases no one bothered ringing the door bell or entered the flat with the tradesmen buzzer to knock on the door, instead they just tried to open it realised it was locked and then left without trying the buzzer or trying another flat number even with the leave with neighbour option selected. (This was witnessed by my downstairs neighbor) an attempted delivery took place the next day and I was working from home and yet again no one buzzed at all. I received an email saying that another attempt was made because of this. I have now finally received my package after paying for it to be delivered on a Saturday and sitting outside in the cold while I waited for it. My amazon packages. Its now Tuesday and like my previous experience there was a supposedly attempted delivery on Monday and yet again no one pressed the buzzer. My mother is home and so is my sister and yet nobody heard the buzzer go and as a reminder we can hear when the buzzer goes, they even received our neighbours packages because they weren’t in. It’s now Tuesday and I have to take a day off work to sit in the cold and wait for my delivery because their drivers don’t know how to use a buzzer. This company is the worse and their staff are even worse and borderline incompetent

No wonder they don't have an online review page. The drop off location refused to take the package, even though it was within the allowed measurements and weights. Won't use again. Had to go back to returns company and request they send returns from a different company.

Keep checking the DPD website for my parcel until they leave a message saying it was delivered to me when it wasn't! The seller using the DPD company even acknowledge that the parcel was returned to him. What a joke of a company. Avoid at all costs!

Bunch of incompetents, atrocious service and drivers don’t give a damn to whom they deliver, they just want is to get rid of the parcel. Had a delivery to my work address, in an office building, he never went to reception or as far as I’m concerned anywhere near it, but he gave the parcel to someone that signed for it but no one from the office, reception or security. Contacted Customer Service, said they would contact driver in the morning and update but that never happened. Absolutely disgraceful, shambolic and don’t care attitude, they should be ashamed of themselves and the company they represent NEVER USE THESE INCOMPETENTS

Utterly incompetent. Second delivery in a row delivered to the wrong place and no way to contact them to inform them of the error. Never ordering from MADE again since they use these idiots as their delivery agents.
