Arranged and paid for drop at local.drop of ro send to recipients. Parcel sat at where I dropped it for 2 days. I could not trace it other than it was registered at drop off point. I had no way of contacting DPD local. Used the Web from and I got a reply stating it was DPD local I needed to talk too, I was on DPD local website and the phone number just keeps dropping constantly on transferring to agent. Refund cannot be reclaimed as apparently the item is in transit, I went and reclaimed where I left it on the 7th December, today the 9th December.

If we could rate as zero we would. Apparently the driver tried to deliver to us today and the photo for where the driver left the calling called is a black box. There is no way he could have missed us as we currently have our shutter wide open and a couple of pallets outside waiting to be collected. This is not the first time this has happened the drivers are just lazy and can not be bothered to do the job they are paid for! Beware if your parcel has be delivered by the Southall Depot!

WORST SERVICE i have ever had. I am now 63 ran companies over a 43 year period, both in the UK and the USA. DPD are without doubt the worst service I have come across! DO NOT TRUST THESE IDIOTS!

Asked for parcel to be left in porch as I knew I'd be out. Parcel not left. I know they turned up as my gate was left open and neighbor told me they had been to my door. I now have to pick up from Morrison's tomorrow which is inconvenient to me. Don't know how DPD are still going as they are useless!!

Terrible: courier rang the doorbell, but didn't wait for me to come (from upstairs) to the door. The parcel was transferred to a collection point, without me having asked for that. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER TO YOUR DOOR!!!!

AVOID OR RISK HAVING THEM LOSING/STEALING YOUR GOODS. ZERO LIABILITY. Used DPD local UK to ship goods from UK to Portugal (Parcel 15976810122024). Goods were last seen in their warehouse, only reachable by their staff, yet went missing. After a 2-month dispute with their staff, they offered around 20 GBP compensation and later around 50 GBP, out of the approx 2000 GBP original value of the goods. Calling costumer support over and over, with photos of the package being delivered to their driver, I kept being forwarded to useless staff asking me to call/contact someone else. Package was finally tagged as "delivered" on their website (yet was never delivered), and everytime I'd call I'd hear "Sorry it's been delivered". After posting this review, DPD contacted TripAdvisor who contacted me several times to show proof of what I had written. And so I did. Review stayed published, yet it's now gone, so I'm reposting it. Long story short: dont use DPD since they don't keep an eye on your goods while in transit, and if they are lost or stolen by their staff in their warehouse, you get NOTHING! Zero liability. Costumer service will exhaust you with politically-correct useless business chit chat. PS: there are a bunch of TrustPilot pages for DPD and DPD local with way more negative reviews (90% 1-star reviews), get the real picture by searching for the "DPD local" profiles on TrustPilot.

Absolutely rubbish. It's keep happening. I live in quite a big Victorian house and you'll never hear a tap on the door of youre in one of the rooms towards the end of the property. For this very reason, I've had a Ring doorbell installed. That way, when the doorbell rings, it sounds in every room thought-out the house on all Alexa devices, do that any important parcels get collected etc. The delivery guys rarely use the doorbell but simply tap the door. Guess what? I don't hear it. Then they go away. This happened today with a very important parcels and one which I paid extra for a quicker delivery. Then when you try to call the customer services phone number, you are only greeted and assisted my an automated response. Is this the best customer services you have DPD Local? What a joke.

I decided to send an item to Germany on the 7th of February 2022. The item, after the duties not being paid by the receiving party, was sent back to the UK and arrived on UK soil on the 17th of February. Fast forward until May 13th 2022, the item has since been lost by DPD Local, through their incompetence and lack of attention and as my item was a "prohibited" item they can not process the claim to at least get some compensation. When deciding on a logistics company make sure you read all of the "T&Cs" for "prohibited items" which were not available when I was signing up. It wasn't until I was going through the claim process the team from DPD Local presented me the T&Cs. Horrendous service, complete incompetence and the customer service is the worst I have experienced.

This is the worst delivery company I've ever seen. Drivers don't know to ring the bell, and when you complain about customer service, they are just basically lying, and they don't bother to solve your problem. I paid for the next day's delivery, and I couldn't get my parcel the next day. I will never buy anything the store working with this delivery company

As posted by me on Trustpilot Terrible Company!!! Please avoid at all cost even if you think they offer the best price in the market. I sent two parcels worth more than £100 and purchased their protection policy just in case. They lost my parcels although their system shows as being delivered. I checked with the recipient and they never receive my parcels. DPD until now cannot provide proof of delivery that they have "delivered" my parcels. They promised to give me updates on my parcels' whereabouts and conditions but they can't/don't until now. I opened disputed delivery claims and they only want to offer compensation less than half of the values of my parcels. I will never accept their low compensation offer even if it means I lose £100+ worth of goods. Despicable! I regret using their service and will never use them again in my life. You have been warned!

Avoid Avoid Avoid ! The customer service - Tim and Lewis are very ignorance and not helpful at all. Tim hang up my phone on the middle of our conversation and they are very impatient. The worst part is Aaron, the complaint department, do not reply my phone call at all when he promised to call me back. Overall, this is very poor rating customer, and the staff are not very welcoming. Also, you have to wait a month to get your refund after a month of delayed on your parcel. 0 star please !!

DPD LOCAL are providing digital barcode to print and attach on the package. Non one of the corner shops are capable to scan this type of barcodes. Over the phone, DPD adviser directed me to Matalan Croydon. They manadged to scan and isued a red DPD ticket with number on it. After that - no one knows what is going on with my parcel. AVOID. I used dpd local to move my personal belongings from Liverpool to cardiff, an easy delivery as someone would think. But no, not with dpd!!!! An employee from dpd stole my suitcase, which contained a huge amount of personal belongings and nobody can do anything about it, as they say!!! The suitcase is the one on the right, with the ribbons. A huge one as you can see.

UNETHICAL MONEY-GRABBING COMPANY THAT INSULTS THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY UNDER-DELIVER TO Pointless company that under-delivers, insults customer's intelligence, implies that the customer is lying, they themselves lie by saying their drivers only put a calling-card through after knocking and only get paid for succesful deliveries yet they admitted that leaving a parcel at the post-office is considered a succesful delivery therefore they aren't really incentivised to do their job properly. I was told the previous day that i could choose a delivery slot once the delivery leaves the depot, USUALLY AFTER 11AM according to the message yet they attempted to deliver at 07:25, my wife and i were up, in silence, sipping our coffees at 0700, we heard something discretely pushed through our letterbox and thought it was the postman or a takeaway menu because it was so discrete, 5mins later i see the calling card, absolutely DID NOT KNOCK, i swear on my honour and all the things i care for. Nobody knocked yet the customer service is being absolutely unhelpful, implying I'm lying, giving misleading information, hanging up calls because they stick to an apology hoping it sorts it all out, hear that it isn't sufficient, repeat their apology and hang up, very unprofessional and of absolutely no help whatsoever, they're angels in their eyes yet they're despicably disgusting in my eyes with their practices, UNETHICAL MONEY-GRABBING COMPANY THAT INSULTS THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY UNDER-DELIVER TO

I want to share with you my experience with this company. I was sending 2 boxes from the UK to the DE warehouse. I was sending it to my own warehouse. So as received the phone number I entered the UK phone number, as I have no DE phone number. In the DPD system where I was booking delivery was no error message or information that it should be DE phone number. When Parcels arrived at DE, I observed that there is something wrong. I contacted them, they said that they will look into the problem, but after 2 weeks it came back to my warehouse in UK. When I contacted regarding delivery refund as parcel was not provided they, told me that they will not refund me as I entered UK phone number. But hold on, I entered what was requested by their system and there was no message or note that it should be DE phone number. Contacted support center, they just look like switching brains off. It was the last time I was using their service. Well done, you lost customer that sending 10 boxes per month.
