Bought a `Walks Map`, I think! Say I think because I dont know if it will arrive. Immediately after purchasing I was emailed by Ebay ref suspicious activity, and banned from ever, I mean EVER using Ebay. I've absolutely no idea why. I paid by Credit Card, no problem there, never EVER had a problem paying with it. Genuine home address given. Map purchased is an Ordinance Survey Map. I have password, last used a couple of years ago. I don't sell on Ebay, so, Ebay, what is YOUR problem?

I don't know any English words to express how DISAPPOINTED I am with EBay's Customer (No) Service. The return shipping label I requested, (they said) could not be processed for me to download and print. I spent at least 45 min going in circles ... they said they could not find anywhere that I purchased anything in the lst 30 days, what? They said my password was incorrect! So much more, but I've already usurped too much of my time w/them.

Ebay is probably one of the most unprofessional and unorganized co.panies I have ever worked with! I have worked at a corporate level for some of the largest companies in the world and this place is a joke! I have been using them for years as side income. As of lately they began holding money for no apparent reason and still owe me quite a bit of money. They illegally tax sellers and buyers whilst taking part of that tax money (The IRS is launching an investigation into their finances) and they give the sellers no account for the money they take. Ebay is now fraught with thieves and sellers are leaving them behind! EBAY is absolutely done!

What is with having to send trainers for authentication I just want the shoes I purchased, not have some mug tell me what I already know with an eight day delay which I’m sure is driving the seller insane as well as me. With added managed payment delay hopefully the seller will get his money before the end of the year and me get my shoes. eBay lost the plot

Immoral company who I will no longer touch with a bargepole and strongly advise other sellers to use a different platform.

To EBay CEO, Please read and research this. I think you will be shocked about the center…. re: item 184809489803 Your Las Vegas authentication center is a plain joke. PLEASE read the response that I got back on the Louis Vuitton case that my wife’s sold. The response was not even near correct on the condition of the case. The buyer even wanted the case after she read your report. She saw the pictures and that’s what she wanted. I agree with having it authenticated. But to nitpick the condition is no right. Also the case shipped back to me was improperly packed. Leaving the mirror loose inside the case was wrong. It could’ve damaged the lining inside of the case. I look forward to your response.

Why are we still allowing eBay to operate without any action to be taken against this fake platform? Why the UK government has never ever examined how eBay is functioning and how are they dealing with vulnerable citizens? Is it because eBay is a multi billion dollar platform like fakebook? Can they not be investigated at all? Can the uk government not have any heart to think about the weakest who are using this useless platform? Why? Okay. I’m not important. It’s not a problem. As I’m a tiny drop from the sea. But please understand eBay is a place where you can sell or purchase fake items with No fear of anyone ever examining items. eBay should have been shutdown, but this will be an impossible task. They have money and resources to fight anybody who may make eBay accountable. I’ve said enough. I have no energy left to deal with eBay anymore

I was using eBay from ages and I am very much disappointed there service and facilities now. I have a business and private accounts. I am planning to close both. Before with PayPal tie up, it was working good, now a days they won't provide us to withdraw funds from our own ebay accounts and sending funds late to our bank accounts. The ebay customer service is become useless, they only give us reasons, not solutions. Too much fees deductions and other charges. It is best to have our own website instead of this useless ebay. I am very unhappy with ebay, I do not want to use anymore.

Been an eBay customer for over 12 years, and now leaving over a £30 purchase. No buyer protection and awful customer service. Customer service sends you round in circles so they don't have to pay a refund. Goodbye.

Admittedly I was listing Mayfair & Penthouse Magazines, I have listed these in the past with no problems, I thought I was listing these in the correct & appropriate way, I am now three months down the line and suspended from my EBay account, I cannot List, Buy or sell anything on EBay, I have had know contact whatsoever from EBay about my suspension, anyway I have now got to the point where I don’t really give F***K about EBay, I think they have really done me a big favour as now I realise I can make a lot more money Elsewhere without the hassle and the expense of EBay, As I flick through EBay I see there is a lot of explicit material, EBay why don’t you just shut down the adult section once and for all to stop all this confusing of what you can and cannot list and to stop sellers getting there accounts shut down for your confusion, Thanks again for shutting my account down as this has really and truly made my life a lot easier 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Absolutely horrible company. I created and set up an eBay account today for a new business I started (skincare) and uploaded my products from my WIX site. About an hour (or less) later, I get an email stating they've suspended my account FOREVER because I'm a threat to the community. What?! Is my sea salt scrub rubbing the community the wrong way?! Of course, all you get from customer service is copy/paste BS and they refuse to tell you anything. I offered to send over my business documentation, etc...but nope. And the copy/paste responses are terribly RUDE. You'd think they would write a kinder script that says "FU". I hope they don't start surveilling my house and sending me bloody pig masks like they are currently being sued for. I hope they lose everything.

Are you effin kidding me. I put around 500 items on ebay a couple of years ago. Nice mid to high end purses. I got a notice that they wanted me to edit every single posting to add item specifics and that I could not post items tell I completed this. WTF, why spend all that time editing to make them happy when it is not selling anyway. I decided to start moving all the listings to other places. I HAVE SOLD ALMOST EVERYTHING I MOVED TO POSHMARK AND ETSY. EBAY IS A JOKE AND WAY MORE EXPENSIVE FOR NOTHING. GOOD BYE EBAY.

I paid for plus membership for a year. Got a renewal notice. Went in and canceled that membership. Now they are making threats of charging me an additional fee per month and/or sending me account to their debt collector. They keep saying this membership is for selling items on eBay that I don’t think I have done for well over a decade. Don’t make the same mistake as me and sing music for Plus. They won’t allow me to cancel my eBay as they say I’ve got a debt but as I said I cancelled this at the of receiving the renewal notice. Apparently you have to cancel before they send the new invoice. How is this Custormer service.

Ebay is now helping facilitate scams. Months after an item is delivered the buyer can file a claim with his bank and say there was damage or a problem. The seller is then able to attach one picture only as a defence. Once the customers bank has decided in their customers favor eBay takes the money out of your bank account and you are left without the money or the item. Scambay is more fitting.

High fees have always made selling on ebay a begrudging experience, but now that we can't use our PayPal accounts for instant funds availability, it's something I'm unlikely to do very often ever again. I used to impulsively sell things for quick cash--sell something cheaper than other offerings, get paid immediately through paypal, do an instant transfer from paypal to the bank. Boom. Money in minutes. Now? I have to wait days. Thanks for helping me stop my impulsive selling, ebay! I doubt it will be good for your business, though.

What an awful experience trying to sell on eBay !! 12 months of trying different methods to prevent being robbed ... and I failed miserably. How easy it is for buyers to open a case against you AND.. how badly an opened case impacts on Your payment holds ...., is really unfair and financially crippling to be honest. Out of 200 + orders this month - 5 people opened 'Item not received ' cases within 5 days of dispatch and this is enough for ebay to shut my payments down for a week. I received 132 'excellent' , '5* seller' , 'excellent delivery time' sort of comments that don't count for anything . There is no statistic breakdown , no ratio to go by....there is no value to positive feedback when it comes up against an opened claim. Some buyers were so quick to open cases that I couldn't believe it was allowed. One guy didn't even pay instantly - his funds were held for 28 days. I had to pay (the minimum)£3.20 for tracked postage - in order to release his payment quicker . No sooner had the postman delivered it ... the guy opened an 'item not received' case. He done it faster than Royal Mail update their tracking system , therefore his payment stayed on hold . Even the next day when Royal Mail marked as 'delivered' it didn't matter..He got an automatic refund after 3 days of the case being 'unresolved' and I was told to contact Royal Mail. I also received a 'default' on my account, basically for making this man wait for his refund. This case was the start of a snowball effect ... I was hit with another 4 'item not received' cases - all in the same month and now my payments are on hold for 5 working days. All of these people received their items , one man already had his but apparently hadn't checked with his wife (chancer). None of these people officially closed the cases ...so I had to wait for ebay to close them after 5 days. I have got to the point were I can't afford to send anything else out now. I've spent all my money buying stamps and sending stuff out that I won't get paid for for a standard 3 days anyway (due to eBay's payout schedule). I even posted items that were ordered yesterday night - in time for the last post at 12 pm Saturday... only to log in to eBay this afternoon and find my account on hold. I now have no idea what I'm going to do for money through the week. I was banking on my eBay payout this Monday (they don't send payouts on a weekend either , so I was expecting 3 days worth of profit, most stuff has already been posted) I know this comment is huge but I really have tried everything I can to keep myself safe from post fraud, whilst also trying to keep buyers from complaining that 'postage is too high' ... I actually don't think it's possible to be honest. people who make a small fortune from ordering items online , then claiming they didn't receive them ... has been a worldwide issue since online shopping began .., but eBay give no space to sellers for this . One buyer told me that they "had no idea" how damaging an 'item not received' case is , so I looked into it. I found, that the first thing ebay ask you when you request a claim is ... "Have you tried to contact this seller before you open a case?" . Ebay then explain how damaging open cases are to sellers and can result in their accounts being closed ... they then give the buyer the option to message me first (for instance) , which needs a yes or no answer before the next page can load. So people do know how much trouble they are about to cause you . These kind of buyers know exactly what they are doing. They are ensuring that they get a refund if it's not delivered in 2 days (you can open a claim from midnight on the 3rd day)..... they never return the items either. These are Items that have 'proof of postage' receipts AND my return address on the back. Some people are just grumpy, possibly very selfish with no consideration, BUT !...they have waited an hour more than expected which means 'technically' they have every right. But some people deliberately look for sellers like me, who are using regular first class stamps ....and rob me for being stupid enough to do it. I can go to the post office for a 'proof of postage' receipt, but they are useless according to eBay, even though they have the buyers postcode on. I understand (if anyone is still reading this) that the solution seems obvious. I should just charge people £3.20 postage and explain that this is the minimum for a tracking number. I used to do this last year and got nothing but hassle .... ''Too much postage just for a tin'' ...was a regular type of message I received. Almost every time you sell something, you will also get a message from the buyer asking for postage discount..., It is very common for buyers to check the weight and size online (with the Royal Mail calculator ) and then contact you to challenge the price. Then there were parcels that had been left in different places (a signature was needed and the buyer was out). If this happens and the buyer claims to have 'not received item' ..., you lose money. It's instantly /Automatically taken whether your eBay account has funds or not. I regularly log on to find an overdrawn account or less money than I expected ,due to a request. For me, the most the most upsetting part of the postage saga, is the fact that eBay take fees from your postage charge (so do amazon to be fair ).. So if I want my buyer to pay £3.20 for 2nd class tracking , I need to either :- 1. Charge them an extra £1.10 (to cover Tax, Vat , selling fees and a listing fee ) . Or.., 2. Pay £1.10 out of the profits from my item (which is also going to be taxed etc ). Honest to God ! ... There has been times when I have lost all the profit from my sale and actually paid for the stamps myself... I did try to cancel and refund a buyer once - but she kicked off and left me negative feedback. There is also the fee's 😒... If I sell something for 3.50 , I will only have £2.70 in my account. If it's free postage then I have 2.70 to buy a stamp. A few weeks later , I will also receive a selling fee based on £3.50 . Which is around 1.25 .... So I have made around 50p for that £3.50 transaction. If you're only selling bits n bobs like me , this can spiral out of control so that when you get your monthly fee demand ..., you can't believe or understand how you still owe eBay 80 quid - for example. Then you think about how much stuff you would have to send out , to make £80 and you realise it's never gonna stop. Now I'm selling items to pay my eBay fees . I have now accepted that eBay is never going to work for me. I think , on a whole and in a nutshell.... Ebay the the modern day Black Market and there is no wonder in my mind anymore, as to why it's mostly full of fake tat with extortionate postage prices.... it's all a refund / tax swizz
