“Terrible WEBSITE that promotes scammers and fraud, and doesn't do anything about it. I unfortunately was a victim of a scam. I understand its still my fault, but the fact that it took forever to get someone. Then once I got someone they just say awe I'm sorry that happened we sympathize....etc. they have have the scammers profile. They see he used the gift card. I look today and the account is still active. The gift card that can only be used on ebey they can't stop the transaction nor will they cancel the whatever was purchased by the scammer on ebay. This is a horrible place to buy or sell anything and I will no longer be doing business and DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS. There is amazon now that is more reliable, and has people you can contact automatically. Not a automated system that ends up hanging up on you.”

“I tried to return a product, ebays website glitched and never completed the process. I spoke with 5 different agents, all of whom were incapable of doing anything, in the end they said it's my fault and nothing can be done. Ebays website caused technical issues and now I can't get my money back. Don't waste your time or money with these thieves, they don't know how to run a proper business.”

“Got scammed by a seller who sold me a fake item. eBay was so unhelpful and gave conflicting advice. This dragged out the process, caused unnecessary stress and confusion. I'm still fighting for my refund until today. But the seller is allowed to continue defrauding buyers. After this experience, I will NEVER buy anything from eBay again.”

“I never got my item due to covid shipping took longer accoding to seller but it never arrived now I can't get my money back and the seller is ignoring me and ebay does nothing but tell me to contact the seller. so I tell them the seller is ignoring me and ebay just keep saing to contact the seller WTH”

“Ebay doesn't care for its customers who are selling. I was forced to return an item I could prove was fine before sending to customer with evidence . Ended up losing all of the postage costs so out of pocket now.”

“I've been an ebay buyer for years and ran into a problem with a seller. These are the lessons I learned: 1) if it says the product is in U.S., it's not necessarily true, product can be listed as U.S. but be coming from China or Pakistan, so you will have a delay in receiving it 2) sellers will not always refund your money and ebay will not help you 3) don't depend on the feedback from other buyers because sellers can easily have the negative feedback removed from their account 4) don't expect to be able to communicate with ebay customer service in english, you likely won't be able to understand them and they likely won't be able to understand you.”

“Ebay is a scam company they lie and cheat the buyers. There Buyer Protection Plan is a fraud, as I am proof of it. I have to give one star but I really want to give -5 if allowed. No one to speak to on the phone, they never answer there calls. This company should be shut down by the Government for false advertising, for no buyers protection as they claim.”

“Auctiondotcom sold us an item that was not as described, they did not want to help so I left negative feedback and surprise surprise eBay removed it the next day. Why? It was a selling lying about an item I purchased so why has the feedback been removed,? eBay sucks”

“Seriously, if you plan on buying something from Ebay - take that money, save yourself some time/headaches and set it on fire because if you need to make a return, you'll never see that money again. I had one return which has been a nightmare and just sent back another item and fully expect to lose money again. Pay more but do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere !!!”

“If I could take away 5 stars I totally would!!!!!! NEGATIVE 5 stars FOR SURE!!!!! EBay provided an Ancient address for a return which now I lost money and product!!!! When I provided them with my address on two separate occasions including in the shipping box itself!!!! Ran by bunch of Unprofessional untrustworthy thieves!!!!!! I WILL NEVER USE EBAY EVER AGAIN!!!!! GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!”

“I buy ebay plus and member with ebay for long time but today AirPods sale start at 5 pm i was waiting 2 minutes before it start when sale start i click on the AirPods they saying we need more info and then when its open there is no buy button only showing option is watch and then after 2 minutes its out of stock best way to charge people and making fool easily”

“Ebay customer service is nonexistent. Several calls to fix issues and they tell me to go to the seller. Ebay has the wrong information in the system trying to charge me return shipping when the seller acknowledges they sent the wrong item and Ebay should not charge for a return shipping label. Several calls with customer service (Over Seas) and no help. Corporate does not provide any upper-level assistance and apparently no oversight. I will be moving my business away from Ebay.”

“I wrote a neutral feedback review for a product I had purchased. The item took 21 days to arrive after shipping so I said that in my review to let others know the shipping time. The seller was outraged that the feedback was not positive and was able to get eBay to remove the feedback. What good is the eBay feedback rating if sellers can alter it at will? The eBay consumers need to be aware that eBay FEEDBACK RATINGS ARE NOT ACCURATE. In another instance, I bought and paid for an item thru eBay and the seller never shipped the item. I contacted the seller repeatedly and was told it was shipped but I never received anything. I asked eBay for a refund on my account. Instead of getting a full refund, I was given a partial refund by eBay because the monetary exchange rate (US to Canadian) had changed between the time the item auction had ended and the time the refund was given. I have never heard of anything like this. If there is a discrepancy, the difference should come from the seller's account since they are the one who defaulted on the sale agreement. I contacted eBay and they refused to give me a full refund on my account. This is outrageous. How much money is eBay swindling from consumers doing this? BUYER BEWARE!”

“Your help centre is an utter joke!!! No human has looked into my issue as it was all stated in my comments on the case and anyone with a brain cell could see what happened! I received my items weeks late and so In the meantime purchased a replacement from someone else, when I finally did receive the original order I asked to return it due to the fact it was late, and seller said ok and they had provided a returns label - they didn’t!!!! So I returned at my own expense and provided a photo of the Royal Mail receipt!!! You’ve closed this case as there’s no tracking number - there’s only no tracking number as I used the only method of sending back I could afford when it shouldn’t have been at my expense at all in the first place!!!! I’ve been waiting months for this to be resolved!!!! Awful (and non existent) customer service!”
