Was a Canadian Seller for 20 years. Slowly over the years they took protection away for sellers, we were forced to sell in Canadian dollars (even though our suppliers sell in US no matter where they are located) and a result was in no way could we compete with other US or world sellers. We no longer could leave negative feedback for nasty buyers. Ebay is now 75% China sellers. The fees to list, fee for your store, the fees to sell - then paypal fees - totally ridiculous platform now to sell.

OK firstly I pay with pay pal for my money protection. Why do I do this in all my goods I have orded I have never received the correct items or had them deliver under 3 months of waiting this is the the only way I trust most company's plus you can never contact the seller after you have paid h.

Horrible customer service, lack of respect for buyers. I was on ebay for 11 years with 917 positive feedbacks and they suspended my account out of the blue. They cut me off of the transactions and left without info about my purchases. Also, they did not refunded me money which was in credit. To sum up, being loyal buyer in ebay is not respected by them. Their customer service is more than horrible. They name ebay as a 'community', while it is just a selling/ buying platform. Very upset how they treated me after all these years. Not recommend. Also, when you sell on ebay they take 10% from the postage cost, which is just postage, the seller does not earn money sending the item !!!!!!!!

Fees are insanely high - how you can you justify the insane cut you take??? Also they have dishonest advertising practices. I hope Facebook marketplace, Amazon and others replace you very soon.

New payment scheme that avoids PayPal is making me furious. Over a week to get paid. Absolutely awful website. Really gone downhill. Like millions of others,I'm closing my account. Also Absolutely full of chinese scam artists selling substandard goods, even when you set the default to UK items only, these items still appear.

Been over 2 months since i have returned an item and have not received the refund. Been promissed every single time that in 48 to 72 hrs i would be receiving the refund of that we have emailed the back office and in 48 hrs you will have this sorted or Leave this with me i will be the one in charge of the case and will get this sorted and so on and so forth. Every single time i have allocated more than 48 or 72 hrs ( usually double the time span so that this gets sorted and it did not )

eBay is a scam! There products are delivered at a low standard they aren’t AAA* there much worse everything looks Chinese just stick to paying “the right price” to get the quality you want. Also you can’t delete your account it’s a loophole they avoid helping you and make sure you simply cannot get rid of an account for their own good AVOID EBAY!!!!

IS THIS COMPANY OWNED BY THE CHINESE WHEN YOU BUY SOMETHING FROM EBAY 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 IT COMES FROM CHINA AND DOES NOT WORK OR THEY SEND THE WRONG ITEM TRY TO GET A REFUND OR COMPLAIN IS ALMOST IMPOSS EBAY SEEMS TO STICK UP FOR THE SELLER ARE THE CHINESE THE BIGGEST SHARE HOLDERS DO NOT TOUCH BUY BRITISH AND GET THE RIGHT ITEM

My account of over 20 years was suspended and then terminated permanently after posting an item as a social experiment(apparently this is against policy??). No warnings, just terminated and they refuse to actually explain why.

Absolutely awful! They protect buyers (when it suits them) but as a seller you get sold down the river and ripped off. Ebay just do not care, lets face it keep upsetting your sellers and you'll have none left!

I have been a seller on ebay since 01/2021. Due to the pandemic I had to start my own company. I used my savings to buy supplies to start making my own products. All payouts coming fine then all of a sudden restricted my account for no reason, and all payouts on hold. I have 124 orders to ship and cannot buy supplies to make the orders. I was doing great Ebay saw that and cut my account to make sure lager suppliers with same products could sell more.

I recently made an account, and went and bid on some PS5's. Made several bids figuring one of them might win, if I win more i'll just re-sell them. I then get an email this morning (4/4/2021) saying my account was permanently banned for "suspicious activity". I then logged on and contacted customer service. After the robo-CSR I finally get a human being I think, named Angelica. I explain my situation and she goes and sees what's going on. Comes back a few minutes later sending a wall of text (same as in the email) through several instant messages. I then ask what was the "suspicious activities" in case my account was hacked so I can take steps to secure myself. According to policy she can't discuss the reason, how convenient. I then accused ebay is showing favoritism and admittedly was rude about it, Angelica consequently blocked me (I was rude I deserved the block). The only reason I can fathom why EBAY would snipe my bids by banning me was someone working there used their position to remove a potential bidding rival on PS5's which are a valued commodity right now. After seeing all the bad reviews on another review site, then a terrible 62% here, I am convinced of EBAY's bad reputation. DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY. Amazon is 100% better. Amazon doesn't support sellers who are scamming and/or thieving and they get to your issue if there is a problem right away.

I tried to buy something and eBay blocked my bid. When I contacted them they said I had to be re-identified and they removed the restriction. Wouldn’t compensate me or do anything for me. Customer service sucks and don’t care at all about the average buyer.

I only look at history stuff, but don’t you think 200 bucks for a us airborne jacket is expensive, most of the historic stuff has original in the name but I know 99% most of the stuff is replicated stuff

Ebay refunded one of our buyers without having them return our item, leaving us without our product or payment. Very unacceptable.
