Make sure you use a reputable seller because the eBay guarantee is worthless, you'll get very little help from them if you have a problem with one of their sellers. I bought a caravan awning for £449, when it arrived it was damaged, it had a hole in the roof panel and a corresponding hole in the bag in which it came. I've been trying to return it since 19 Jun (15 days), I've offered 5 days when it could be collected. I've stayed in for these 5 days just in case. The seller is trying to get the manufacturer to pick it up, the manufacturer has made no contact whatsoever. Ebay are supposed to be sorting it out for me but are just making the situation worse.

I originally ordered 6 cans White Grease on 18th April- advertised for £18.99 inc delivery. Shortly after that I received a call from them saying I would have to pay an extra £10 for postage. I advised that even second class postage to my address in Aberdeen-shire was only £4.55. They were not prepared to accept this and I cancelled the order with Pay pal and was duly refunded my £18.99. On 31st May I saw and ordered (via e-bay) another 6 cans of identical grease on e-bay for £17.09 with next day delivery included- I did not realise at the time that it was the same supplier: On the 3rd June I e-mailed eBay to advise (re #5138502352) that the product had not arrived. On the 5th June I received an e-mail from eBay with an attachment from 'the seller' (Lubriagecarparts) implying there seemed to be problems with payments from pay-pal- but basically it was badly written 'gobbledygook'; I then had to contact pay pal saying that they would address the problem- However I AM STILL AWAITING DELIVERY 9/6/17

They described the product properly and listed the product properly and with much more concise information about what I am actually buying. What a great experience. Totally the opposite to euro car aparts. Ie yourselves

The trainers that I ordered did not arrive and a larger payment was taken out of my bank account. I am going through proceedings to claim my money back. They are a fake site. Do not order!

Ordered goods from the USA, paid via credit card, to be delivered by Ebay Global Shipping.Goods went missing despite courier declaring them signed for. Ebay refused to refund, the seller refused to refund, only refunded by my bank because I used a credit card. I chased the courier and it turns out that Ebay Global Shipping is a scam. Once goods arrive from overseas they end up in a large distribution centre who sub contract cowboys to deliver the goods. In other words individuals who own a van and register with them. Goods are disappearing and the distribution centre deny responsibility if goods go "missing". Ebay entice you with cheap shipping but stay away - it's a scam. In fact, stay away from ebay...period!

This company is selling replacement vehicle turbos via ebay. My item was fitted by a qualified mechanic, yet broke within 3 months of fitting. What I discovered is that the terms of their warranties are 'sketchy' to say the least. After much cajoling the company offered me a replacement item, but only if I paid them 100GBP 'postage'. My original item cost 165GBP. I would be very wary of buying from them in the future. Their items appear to be cheap for a reason!

I ordered a multi combination ladder set with platform from these people via eBay. I missed the delivery so card was left with no explanation on it. Managed after several texts to them to collect it from royal mail 2 days later. When received found that the one ladder was damaged. Arranged to replace damaged ladder with replacement on arrival found that they had sent the whole set again (which I still have) which the other ladder was damaged but managed take a good set. Contacted them to let them know what had happened and they tried telling me that I should have sent hhe whole set back which isn't true( i jave their text to prove it). They replied by saying that they would let me know, that was nearly a week ago. I will give them another week them give it to the that man. Not impressed

I will never use this website again. I was treated so badly and made feel like a liar as I never received my product and was told it was investigated and they closed it and told me there was nothing more they could do even when I had proof of some other random person signed for my product

1 STAR IS WAYYYY TOO MUCH! THEY ACCUSED ME OF BEING "ABUSIVE" AND "SWEARING" WHEN I SAID "HOW STUPID IS THIS POLICY OF EBAY?"...WITH THE WORD "STUPID" BEING A SWEAR/ABUSIVE?, SPOKE TO THE MANAGER AND HE/SHE SADLY AGREED WITH THE REP. THEY WOULDN'T LET THE BUYER SEE THE ITEM BEFORE PURCHASE! I HAVE THE CHAT TRANSCRIPT IF ANYBODY INTERESTED! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED IN EBAYS BEHAVIOR! STAY WELL IN DISTANCE FROM THEM!

most of these reviews are regarding problems between buyers and sellers. my issue is with ebay themselves. ebay will not let me bid or buy anything i have no suspentions never been banned my payments are set up correctly but due to their "security" systems that are automaticlly set based on my activity (apparently ive made too many purchases and paid for them immidietly) work that one out? trying to contact them is very difficult and when you do manage to contact customer service and i use the word "service" loosely they are unable to help and tell you to call them which would cost me a fortune as i only have a mobile phone - to call them to sort out an issue that they have caused? so after making 8 buy it now purchases ( i was never allowed to bid on an item - no reason was given to me as to why i wasnt able to) i am now not even able to buy buy it now items. i resorted to logging in as a guest just so i could purchase something i wanted - it lets me buy the item when i do that? where is the logic in that? another problem with ebay is that their " top rated sellers" can do no wrong even when they do. if you are a buyer and stay on ebay long enough you will find this out. so am waiting for all my purchases to arrive then i will have no choice but to close my account as ebay dont want to let me use it. it seems they dont want my money.

Ebay put my PayPal account in to the minus to give a refund, even though I had put "No Refunds" on my account and they never got my authority to do so. Also, I sold clothes on Ebay for 16.14 and they charged me £32.42 in fees. NEVER USE EBAY!!!

A fuel pump I ordered didn't arrive, the seller said it had been delivered by myHermes, they said " yes it had been delivered, but no one was in", I searched for it, no joy. I complained to eBay, then went back to Hermes, this time they said it had been delivered to Flat 1 ?, I explained that I live in a house in the country, not in a Flat, they then said the seller had put the wrong address on the pump. I had a reply from eBay...case closed, the seller had proof that the item had been delivered. I phoned the seller , Hermes had been in touch with him saying the item had been lost, he said he would send another pump.....didn't arrive. I appealed eBay's decision...they wanted proof from Hermes....I sent them a copy of the email chat I had with Hermes,,,that wasn't good enough. Fortunately Hermes sent me a letter headed email apologising for the lost of the item, it was forwarded on to eBay, the reply I got back was that they needed a letter headed confirmation from Hermes! So I sent another one, as yet I haven't heard if they received that one, as they just went back to the beginning & said the case is closed,,,but I can appeal. Eventually, after two more phone calls the pump arrived, no thanks to customer services. However , being a bit pissed off with eBay insinuating that I was dishonest, I emailed them to point out that I was correct in saying the pump wasn't delivered to me, the seller agreed that the pump was lost & Hermes said they had lost the pump & that a second pump was sent, I also pointed out my name is Mr Quin, not Patrick, I'm a customer not one of eBay mates! What comes back...." this case is closed, you haven't sent the documents we asked for. You have 5 days to appeal". I sent them another email pointing out the customer care dept.was rubbish & they either didn't read or couldn't understand customers emails, I also said there was no need to reply. Their answer to that was.." we are sorry you have such a problem with delivery, but we have proof that the item had been delivered & I could appeal. I have a feeling I've been emailing a computer! I shall now get on with the rest of my life!!
