Staff were very rude and miserable no social skills at all !! Facilities where poor soft drinks where in large bottled and often flat much prefer manchester and Leeds Bradford where it all self service and individual cans etc !! By far though was the rude staff who totally ruined the start of our holiday !!

Was quite disappointed with my first visit with my wife to the lounge. Checking in process was smooth but trying to find a table that was not cleared(and there were many!!). The lounge was cold and I asked a member of staff to turn the heating up, well that never happened. Also the selection of food although good we were missing plates and cutlery. Eating sausage with a spoon is difficult. Then we were told that due to lack of staff they could not keep up with demand. Will think twice about using Aspire in the future.

The room was cramped, full and not particularly comfortable. We initially sat down and were then moved on to another area by s member of staff who said “you can’t sit there”. We had to move chairs from other tables to make a five without any offer of help. The food was limited. We had bacon sandwiches which were adequate. Any peaceful atmosphere was prevented by a male member of staff shreaking at high volume throughout our visit seemingly in an attempt to gain attention from guests. All in all rather disappointing and we will not be returning. I paid circa £100 for bacon sandwiches and fruit juice in a noisy and not particularly comfortable environment with no staff assistance or basic hospitality. I then paid a further £25 for two glasses of champagne. I consider this a waste of money.

Lack of interest & direction from staff. Uncomfortable seating without much choice - we sat beneath a TV that was on with no-one watching. Better seating and ambiance cordoned off for other airlaine use but totally unoccupied. We have visited other Aspire Lounges, unfortunately the Mancheseter Aspoire was not up to expectations.

We visited the lounge on sunday 23rd October at around 1.30pm-six in our party The bar service was very poor and slow-the ladies there I would have thought should have been very efficient but they seemed confusd and slow and didnt really know which glasses to use and took ages just for a couple of gins! The food selection was very poor and was not replenished quickly and not an option for fussy eaters-ie plain food better than veg curry and cold pasta before a flight-waste of £150 for six people -should have gone to one of the restaurants-would be better having a selection of cheeses, sandwiches and snacks rather than the choice offered -we went in the Escape lounge last October and that was far better selection

Myself and my partner had 2 Gin and Tonics after we had booked in for 4 am our flight was boarding at 0525 , we didn't get in the lounge until about 0415 at 0500 the barman was asking us what time our flight was I said is there a problem and he said we had a girl in last week who had 3 lagers in a short space of time .I told him we were having this one and leaving I was with my sister and her husband we are all over 50 and found this very demeaning.

The best I can say is that it was a way of getting a comfortable seat in a busy airport but it was very expensive to get just that. There was almost no food - just a few bits of bacon, and the water dispenser was empty. You have to leave the lounge to get to the toilets and there was a long queue for them and no baby change in the ladies.

On entering the lounge I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff and very loud drilling and building work from ongoing construction work in Dubai airport. I was not informed this on booking, and after already paying had little choice but to stay. I had more piece sleeping on a chair in the middle of the airport waiting until the time I could enter the lounge. If there are works going on, especially when you would know about them as they had been going on for some time, they should be disclosed. I booked a lounge as I had an 8 hour wait, I wanted to relax. Sadly I didn’t.

Upon arrival the lounge was full and there was nowhere to sit for thirty five minutes. There was very little food available and the little I did have was of poor quality. Staff appeared unconcerned about the guests in there. I was extremely disappointed and my stay was most uncomfortable.

No seats available in lounge so had to stand the 2 hours we were in there. No orange juice available even though it was 8.30am. Only one lady working behind bar for about half hour so waited a while to be served.

1. Despite paying for access to the lounge for 3 hours we were curtailed by over an hour as Flybe do not open check in until 2 hours before the flight. No mention of this likelihood when I booked. 2. Once in the lounge I went for hot food at 1950 to find it had been cleared away and that the lounge was closing at 2000. My flight did not depart until 2035. I was not aware of the 2000 closing time when I booked. I have since looked at the website and realise it is quite possible to make a booking, as I did, without going down the site far enough to see the open and closing times. So all in all I got less than 2 hours of the 3 hours access I paid for. No doubt you will say its all on the website, however, it would be a much more effective site if,when booking, and yr times were curtailed by the airline booking or yr open/closing times, if the restriction was made clear and the actual maximum time available was displayed rather than the theoretical 3 hours. I feel that you took £53 off me under a false promise of the use of yr facility and the effect of only finding this out on the day ruined the idea of the booking, ie to provide a restful and relaxing wait for our flight away from the crowds. The only bit you managed to provide was for us to be away from the crowds. And by the way, if you think we were the only ones who suffered the same fate spare a thought for the gentleman whose flight was not due to depart until 2130 and which had been delayed by over an hour. He had no idea you were due to close at 2000 either!

The choice of food I felt was poor and service was disappointing. Waited over half an hour to be served for a drink when the place was empty. Feel as though staff didn't want to be there. We was told they'd bring over the prosecco we paid additionally for and we had to go and ask twice where it was

Although the lounge itself was a nice area, the food was poor quality and the lady on the bar was so rude, slamming warm glasses down and sloshing the wine over the edge when pouring and making you feel guilty for ordering drinks. It was a shame as the lounge was a present for my boyfriends birthday and we would have been better off spending the £70 in the Wetherspoons next door!

"The lounge was opened 10 minutes to late. Breakfast was really poor. Half an hour after opening the lady was adding food concerning breakfast. The two ladies where arguing together at the front desk very loud (while visitors were sitting in the lounge, we could still hear them). It didn't feel like a warm welcome! Plates and cups kept staying at empty tables, while the visitors already left the lounge again. Overall not really the feeling sitting an an executive lounge, same feeling as sitting in a restaurant at Schiphol."

Service was slow. Food options were very limited and what was available was Luke warm. Would not use again. In my opinion better using the fee to spend In the general bars and food outlets around the airport. Where there’s also a better atmosphere.
