Food choice was poor. Draft beer not working. No body came round to clear the tables.. so all in all not the best experience

We paid nearly £50 to spend a couple of hours in the Executive Lounge at Manchester Airport before a flight to New York on 6 October 2015, where we were going to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday. The VIP lounge was to be the beginning of the celebrations. When we arrived there was nowhere to sit and we were initially offered a couple of chairs on someone else's table; then a table came free and was cleared for us which was fine. But then there were no cups or glasses; very little cutlery and we were eventually told that there were only 3 members of staff doing the work of what should have been 6. Sadly not our problem but we were offered no discount in the charge we'd already paid. I definitely would not recommend the Aspire Lounge to anyone and would not return.

The lounge was freezing cold the food was ok and I think it’s disgusting that they charge for prosecco if you can have any spirit why charge for prosecco the 1903 lounge in terminal 3 is excellent you need to up your game with this one

What a waste of money!! We treated my parents to the executive lounge as a way of saying thank you for the holiday and to start as we meant to go on! I wish we hadn’t! When we arrived to check in the woman on the desk told us groups were not allowed in even tho we had rang up and requested permission! I do have to say when I rang back 3 days later as no one had got in contact to confirm the booking or reject it I spoke to a lovely man called Philip who was actually the only one thing that was good about this whole experience! Once we managed to get in after the woman had a look on the computer and saw that I had in fact prebooked, we were then told to go to the very end for the family bit which was no longer different just out of sight! The food was awful! We had to wait ages for the sausages bacon etc and when it did come out it wasn’t very nice. There wasn’t much of a selection of cereal, juice, fruit and yoghurt. Considering we paid £26.99 per person you would expect something a lot better and not just paying for the privilege of sitting in a room away from everyone! It was my parents first experience and they have said never again! We’ve been to quite a few different ones at different airports and this is by far the worst!

We were extremely disappointed with the Bristol Aspire Executive lounge on Monday 17 September about 15.00. Sticky, dirty, uncleared tables. Only one person serving all food and drink - and he had to leave for a while to collect some clean glasses from somewhere else. We queued for ages. The reception desk had three people on it, just chatting, and didn't help with the bar or food at all. Some people didn't even have time to get a drink. Appalling service (and we have been to many excellent Lounges), never do this one again. Patricia and Angus Frazer

Food wasn't replenished kept having to ask for things. Bar service wasn't very good seen someone helping themselves to a bottle of wine. Staff very rude.

We were very disappointed with our latest visit to your Aspire lounge at Bristol airport. We are currently writing a letter of complaint to your customer relations service.

We used Bristol airport Lounge on 1st October. How very very disappointing. The bar ran out of beer and lager. Malbec and sauvigon blanc. Waited ages to be served at the bar. Only five staff on. Not good value for money at all. Would not recommend.

I have used the Aspire lounge in Liverpool in numerous occasions. However my experience this time with my family was appalling. The staff were miserable. Food I waited 30 mins when told the hot food was empty. My daughter picked a cake which was rock hard. Ordered a glass of white wine. This was dirty with red wine stains. The lady before me complained about the hot food and got a free bottle of bubbly. I have taken photos if you require.

very disappointed with this lounge as had run out of white wine at 5pm, kept running out of food, no nuts or snacks only 2 staff on so had to wait to get drinks and food. Also they stopped serving alcohol at 810pm and we where asked to leave when we didn't need to leave the lounge till 840 as our flight was 915.

Very disdapointed with the lounge. We have previously gone into the Escape lounge which is much better. In the Escape lounge they have a selection of sandwiches/pies/salad/fruit and choices of soup and other hot food. The Aspire lounge had pasta or curry which wasn’t of good quality. We had to wait for food to be replenished. The Escape lounge had mini fridges of beer and soft drinks and a bar for all other drinks. The Aspire lounge has a bar only which was short staffed so the queues were long. They ‘ran out’ of ice for drinks and the beer was off for about an hour. The staff were all miserable. Tables weren’t cleaned away quickly. In the Escape lounge you were allocated your seats. In the Apsire lounge it was a free for all so if you are in a large group like we were you could be separated. My recommendation would be to book the Escape lounge. We won’t be going into the Aspire lounge again. Very poor for the money.

Nowhere to sit and such limited food options which were not replenished regularly. Stale scones and luke warm bland curry. Never again.

The website for the lounge is deceiving. I booked the lounge on the breakfast menu on website, the reality was very different. Wouldn’t book again, very disappointed.

The directions were not very useful. I arrived on the 5am flight from Perth and ended up going past the gates into the arrivals section and couldn’t come back in so I had to pay another R800 to City lodge to use their facilities and freshen up.

I booked the lounge and was informed that I was able to access the lounge from 6.30pm, due to a meeting finishing early than anticipated I was at the airport at approx. 4pm. So i hung around until 6.30pm arrived, then when i approached the lounge I was informed that it closes at 8pm. At no time when I was booking the lounge did it flash up stating the lounge closes at 8pm . I agree after checking the website it does inform you of the opening times, but i don't agree that it allows you to book something with out advising you on your documentation or boking form. Not impressed at all, very cold in lounge, hardly anything left to eat and what was there was dry , bread rock hard etc, staff were vacuuming and mopping floors around your feet, so all in all not impressed at all , Would not recommend !!

We attended the lounge in JLA on Monday 24th September very early in the morning. It was already busy and after 10 minutes of waiting to be booked in we were told there were was no lager. Not many spirits and running low on soft drinks. I probably wouldn't have drunk anything that strong that early in the morning. However it was part of the package paid for. There were 2 staff out the front trying to keep on top of the breakfasts and serve as well as book people in. It was low on stock and obviously understaffed. I paid for this as a surprise for my partner who does not like flying and was hoping for a calm couple of hours before we departed. We left within minutes and couldn't even speak with any staff member to complain as they were run ragged and I actually felt sorry for them. I was disappointed and will not be paying for this service again as it was nearly £50 just to be away from the main thoroughfare of the airport and we never used any of the facilities.

I am sorry to say the aspire lounge T2 wasn’t what we expected. It was a cafe atmosphere - not somewhere you could relax before a flight. Very disappointing. ☹️
