Aspire Plus in Newcastle is often colder than is comfortable. I have been there on many occasions and customers often complain. This time I was travelling with 2 disabled 88 year old passengers. I contacted ‘ Rachel’ on your Service Dept pre travel to ask if she could ensure the lounge was a suitable warm temperature. She assured me the message had been passed on to the Newcastle Manager. When we arrived, the lounge was freezing! Many empty tables had dirty glasses and used plates on them. Very very disappointing. There were only a couple of staff who were extremely pleasant but appeared very stressed. Truly appalling. You should provide a refund and a free entry ticket to us, once you have sorted this out. Unacceptable. I have phptps if you would like them.

Lounge did not open on time as stated. When we eventually managed to get in there was no food ready. Queues formed and many people went without. The lounge was also very cold. Seemed to be very disorganised.

There wasn't a great choice of food, what was on offer that was meant to be hot was cold. The staff (other than the member of staff on reception) were not friendly atall, in fact seemed like they didn't want to be there! i probably wouldnt use this service again at Bristol, i have used in the past it seems to have gone down hill rapidly!

Sadly I thought it was extremely poor. there were no plates for breakfasts and eventually we were asked to use saucers! there was no cups for tea or coffee. all the table were full and once we had found a table we had to clean it ourselves as nobody came to assist for quite some time. Time was forever spent standing up and waiting around for crockery. 5 of us paid especially for the lounge to start our journey in the most relaxed way possible. sadly it was far from it.

Over priced. Over crowded. Cold food with little healthy selection. We have been to a similar lounge in Birmingham which is excellent so we were expecting much more. This was a really disappointing start to our holiday. I recommend not to go there. There are much better places in T5.

The staff are disgustingly bad. So rude, I work in customer service as well and this would not be allowed in my place of work. Anything my party or I asked of them was a ‘chor’ to them. I unfortunately wouldn’t be going again unless the staff either were trained again or replaced. Absolutely appalling.

Used lounge several times now but would need to see an improvement before considering using again, was there Saturday 15th September and there was no organisation, lack off staff, a small bowl of curry and one of macaroni to satisfy numbers the place could not manage, customers standing around the food counter waiting for it to be replenished, which was an extremely slow process. It all started during the reception sign in where the gentleman that was on duty did not exactly welcome you with a smile, could see he was obviously stressed. There were huge queues for drinks where again the majority of the time there was only one person serving, again struggling to cope, In my opinion this was a case of the lounge taking in as much people as possible to take as much money as possible not interested in the customer in any way, pay good money to use the lounge and get very poor service, will unlikely be back again

We have visited the lounge for a number of years but have found the last two years it has not been up to its usual standard. Last year was poor, but this year I feel it was a waste of money. We had to ask for a table to be cleared and I cleared it myself, the food was not particularly good, the floors had food on them. I do realise the place can get busy and the staff are busy but that is not the customers fault. One more point I would like to make I did find a member of staff extremley rude.

I last used the lounge at Luton Airport a couple of years ago and found it a wonderful oasis of calm amid the chaos of everything else at this lousy airport. Sadly, having boycotted the airport since then because it is so bad, I had to take a flight there recently and found the lounge now to be as bad as the rest of the place. There was a long line of people waiting to get in, but as I had booked the previous day I was allowed straight in. Almost all the tables had "Reserved" notices on them, with names attached, but nobody at them. As I could not find a non-reserved, empty table I returned to the reception desk where a bolshie bloke informed me that if there wasn't a table with my name on, I must have booked with the wrong company! I showed him my booking and he grudgingly agreed he was wrong and that I should have had a table with my name on. His pathetic excuse for the chaos around him was: "We're pretty busy today". If the firm can't handle things when they are busy, get out of the business! It's such a pity the once-excellent lounge has now adopted the ethos of everything else at this airport -- squeeze every last penny out of customers and treat them like dirt!

I know we was informed about the later opening of the lounge, so we was only in there for an hour as our flight was ready to board, but it really was the worst I have ever experienced. The staff didn’t seem that bothered and we almost seemed an inconvenience. Only some of the food was ready, baked beans came out 45 minutes after the lounge opened, I waited at the bar for nearly 10 minutes to get a drink, in the end I sat down and my husband went to the bar, he finally got served and was told if we wanted to get a drink earlier we should of paid more money and gone to a different lounge.. very very poor service and will not be booking again.

I booked myself in to the lounge so as I could get a shower after a long flight from Sakhalin Island. On the site it stated that there was a 3 hour max time which was fine. I entered my connecting flight time which meant three hours before was 6.30. However it stated on the site that you could enter up to one hour before this. Perfect I thought as my plan was to shower, grab something to eat then do some shopping before my next flight. I arrived at the lounge at 5.45 and was told I could not enter until 6.30. I explained that when I booked it had said I could enter up to an hour before but was told this was not the case as how could they manange how long people stayed in the lounge. I explained that I had had a long flight and really just wanted a shower. They sent me off to find showers elsewhere. After touring round the rest of the showers in the airport and finding them all busy I went back to the lounge at 6.30. I was then told there would be a half an hour wait for a shower. After waiting almost an hour I was eventually allocated a shower. When I came out of the shower the lounge was so busy I couldn't find a decent seat. After hovering for some time I eventually got one and went off to get something to eat. I was surprised at the limited choice of food. Some cheese and ham and some mini croissants and cereal. This was at dinner time. The coffee machine was also out of order requiring some filter change or something. Anyway I sat for an hour with a pile of dirty dishes on the table next to me and eventually gave up and left to find somewhere more desirable in the airport to sit. Without doubt the worst lounge I have ever had the misfortune to spend time in and shockingly the most expensive!

Our experience was very poor. It was clear that there were not enough staff to cater for the number of travellers admitted. On our arrival no food was available, all display areas being empty. Until shortly before we left the queue for drinks was never less than 20 people, and I queued for 30 minutes; most of the time only one was serving. During this period food was re-stocked but had gone by the time I was served. Tables were not cleared, leaving them cluttered with dirty used plates and glasses. The atmosphere in general was like a badly-run works canteen.

The lady was very rude , I made a mistake on my friends booking and she refused to let those enter , then refused a party of six which we didn’t know wasn’t allowed . So everyone who paid wasn’t allowed in . We wasn’t drunk or abusive just made to feel like we wasn’t , refund wasn’t given Have to sort at head office .

2nd time we used the lounge at Bristol Airport. Once again little or no food available. Empty plates not refilled. Expensive for what it cost as we could have gone into the other restaurant and been served at a clean table with a steak for less. Would not recommend this lounge

I booked well in advance to ensure my place in the lounge, being a female travelling alone. I had to queue to for 20 minutes to get in the lounge and then had to wait another 20 minutes for a seat. I was told by staff that it was always this manic and always overbooked. I then had to fight for some rather inedible food. Having spent all day at Montreal Airport, I thought my saving grace was the Executive Lounge which I had pre-booked - how wrong was I. A complete waste of my money.

I was very disappointed that due to the overall inefficiency of Manchester Airport I was unable to use this facility. There were huge delays getting into the Meet & Greet parking and going through security. Although I arrived at 4am I only got through in time.to board my plane

There was no food left when we arrived and was told 5 minutes but an hour later still no food. The queue for drinks was very long and only one barman. Struggled to find a seat and tables hadn't been cleared. Overall a very disappointing experience. Definitely not the relaxing luxury that we were expecting.
