Seating was too close together and uncomfortable, seemingly by design. USB outlets didn't work for charging. No water available.

the hot breakfast ran out of a selection of food. Bacon dry like cardboard, no butter at counter, when asked it took some time before a member of staff refilled it. Drinks counter people where stood at up to 15min before staff from kitchen would serve them. Tables left with food on for a considerable length of time after customers had left. None of this is acceptable and needs to be changed before people walk across the corridor.

The lounge had obviously been massively over-booked. We had to wait in a queue to gain access and were then told we could only sit in a de-restricted area. This request had to be ignored as the only available seating for our party of 6 which included a 6 and an 8 year old was in the cordoned off area. There were several frustrated customers who were parading around trying to find seating. There is little point in spending the money to relax in a lounge if the experience is not relaxing.

We arrived late which wasn’t your fault but only had 20 minuets before boarding as we have visited your lounge on serverel times before we knew the ropes so headed straight to the breakfast buffet only to find no bacon or sausage or bread rolls told a member of staff who did in due course delivered more bacon but was told no more sausage and the bread rolls would follow Then went to get a coffee only to find it was out of milk so had to wait which was too late for us as we were called for boarding so in all not a good experience very disappointed Would love to hear from you Jennifer whitby Jennywhitby@aol.com Jenny whitby@aol.com

Lounge overcrowded, no seating available, poor Wifi connection, monitor not working, no food left at 10:00am left lounge after 15 mins. Would not recommend as it was a complete waste of money.

Although the Aspire lounge was comfortable the food was very limited. Hot food was soup, then chilli con carne or a shepherds pie which was a ready meal served out of a tin foil tray. Only had one choice of coke which was Pepsi max and one lager. Very limited lounge

Lots of staff, chatting with each other, but not doing much work. Tables not cleared in good time, in fact my table was not cleared in the last 90 minutes I was in there. This is the Liverpool lounge. The Manchester lounge , Novemer 19th, was far superior.

The hot food comprised an empty pan of chilie, a smattering of overcooked rice, some macaroni and some other unattractive dish. When I asked if there was any more chilie, the attendant said she would go and look. She entered the kitchen where there was much laughter, returning 5 minutes later with the replacement chilie to have with the rapidly cooling rice. The bartender kept disappearing in to the kitchen where I think a party was in progress!

This was the first time I had ever used the lounge and it was the start to my once in a lifetime holiday for my 40th, but we found the lounge far too busy, understaffed, food was ok. Not sure I would use this lounge again.

This lounge is a disappointment compared to the other one at Edinburgh airport. Poor seating, very small selection of food and the coffee wasn't good either. I booked it for a special treat as we were going away for husband's birthday but wasn't really worth it.

As we walked in with our son, the bar person shouted out "the family area is over there" as we were heading for the quiet area which was less busy. We felt singled out and the inference was that our son could not be quiet and well behaved. The three of us ended up squashed onto a two seater table and my seat had a large gash in the seat. Our son was unable to view the planes as he would have been able to if we had been permitted to sit where we had originally intended. The two staff behind the counter seemed to be expressing some sort of dissatisfaction with something regarding their work and therefore didn't seem very focused on customer service. In addition, my husband overheard one make a sarcastic comment to another customer. The bacon was cold and the hot water was not hot enough brew tea. We do book premium lounges quite frequently and this was a disappointing experience on this occassion. Please note that the staff on the front desk were efficient and courteous.

Over booked, had to come back in 30 minutes even though a large area was available we could not use as it was for "Singapore airlines". Tables not clean, food not replenished, empty hot food.

The lounge was busy but half of it was reserved for Singapore airlines customers.... even though there was hardly anyone sat there and everyone else was fighting for seats :( The food and drink were great however.

No staff yet again.Lack of choice of food.Crackers on display but no cheese, when I asked if it was possible to have some cheese was told "we don't put cheese out until 3pm and this was 7.30 am.Don't advertise an expensive service if you can't provide it ! Will most definitely not be using Aspire Plus lounge at Newcastle again.

Booked the lounge to relax before long flight to NYC only to be greeted with sorry we are full there are no seats try and get a refund, then 2 people left so we were let in but there were 4 of us, so 2 of us had to stand up for the hour we stayed in. This was due to Singapore airlines booking out half the lounge but no one had sent us a message to warn us of the possible issue very poor service when paying extra , the staff in the lounge were doing there best to make things as good as they could so no complaints with them such a shame but we had a good trip so small blip

When we went in, we struggled to find a seat, the food on offer was poor and we would not use this service again at Manchester. We had to ask for bacon to be replenished and to only offer white bread is rather disappointing.

Very disappointing in the lounge and what was on offer for food choice. Also everyone was cramped in on litttle tables. The tables are used by 4 people but honestly these are designed for 2 people. Overall a disapppinting experience for the money we paid
