No wifi had to ask for food as ran out and not replaced

Very poor wifi signal - almost zero! There were 3 of us using a number of different devices, with no luck. As some of our (intended) use was for work purposes this was highly inconvenient! Daughter (her first visit) unimpressed by this. Food seemed the same as before - thought you'd changed the menu? As always, staff helpful and polite.

Hot food was very poor quality. An example was that the pasta was crunchy! Lounge was very busy, air con high so quite cold. Queue for toilet!

Not worth the money, especially if you are not drinking alcohol. Food was poor and lack of seating.

I am comparing our experience to the lounge at Edinburgh airport which was fantastic. In comparison: The food & drink selection was paltry. The lounge was uncomfortably cold There were no charging points for mobile phones etc At the desk the staff were unhelpful. The customer service was appalling (the staff inside the lounge were nice) The set up of the lounge was more of a cafe than a lounge. Not very comfortable.

Poor selection of food available. Beer not working. No cider. Not enough staff.

Poor selection of cold cuts - asked for cheese but was told this was only provided later in the day. The only "hot" dish available was pasta with a tasteless sauce - this incidentally was luke warm. Drinks service ok.

Nice lounge but on arrival very little breakfast food left and no rolls. We were there until 11.30 a.m. and expected a change of menu...antipasti as advertised. Not value for money.

The food was very very limited, not much for a vegetarian and the menu was different to what I had seen when I looked into it before booking. Also my boyfriend was asked to take his cap off (which wasn't a problem the year before when he had it on) however, it was apparently fine for a lad to come in with paint stains on his jacket and a Man Utd kit. Felt like they were just singling him out and not enforcing rules correctly. He isn't the confrontational type so took it off and got on with his stay but it left him and myself feeling targeted. Last years trip to the lounge was more enjoyable, the staff were more helpful and he was allowed to wear his cap in peace, I would come here again but I would advise all staff to treat all customers the same. There was one lovely member of staff who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and be polite with us but unfortunately I didn't get her name :(

The food was none existant for the time of day. The room was full of passengers with a few snacks & pieces of cake to feed everyone. We arrived at approx 11:45am so we were expecting to have something to eat.

Very few visible staff, lack of food out for customers, messy tables, cold "hot" food, no cheeses or crackers (which were available last time), very long wait for drinks, no tongs out to serve the food. Generally very poor and disappointing, which is a shame as when we booked last year it was fab.

Love going in lounge to start holiday. This time found it to be very untidy as if no one cares.food very Poor do not not consider soup to be of good value. Crying babies do not send you off in best of moods. Sorry but need to improve on service to keep us coming.

This is my 3rd visit to Aspire Lounge Newcastle this year last visit 9th July and was extremely disappointing - very dirty - no tables to sit at - no staff - no snacks? My previous visit was 23rd June which I was not very impressed with but slightly better than a week later? I asked for snacks crisps etc (on 9th July) and was told NO we don't have them even though I obtained them 7 days earlier. I had bought 4 passes as a treat for my family and everybody was disappointed ? Manchester had a lot more to offer in March this year? Genuine people like myself who do not abuse this will certainly not use this service as it is at the moment. Sandra Hull

Not worth the money. Only 2 hot dishes, both pasta and i'm not a pasta fan. Only 1 screen to show flight information and no announcements. Best bit was being away from the crowd.

Very limited food on offer, brownie and crisps! Really bad value. Meant to be an international airport. Not a patch on the Bristol lounge. Never again. What a rip off.

The selection and quality of food was very poor, with very little to chose from. We were very dissappointed as we usually book into VIP lounge when we travel, but realised when we arrived we had booked in with Aspire ,when we usually book with Escape.

upon arriving we were promised a complimentary glass of prosecco to which we didn't receive. i had booked 2 cocktails as part of my booking, which weren't mentioned at all. until i had to go and ask to which i was told i'm sorry we don't do them, to which i still haven't received a refund. i normally use just the aspire lounge and decided to use the aspire plus lounge this time round which i will not be doing again.
