The room was so busy that we couldn't get seats together. We had to share chairs and had to sit next to people who gave us disapproving looks as we had children with us, although the children were very well behaved.

This lounge gets too busy before BA and KLM flights there are not enough seats. Carpets are stained and disgusting. Food and drink selection is good and toilets clean.

Would not use this Lounge again. The seating was not comfortable and the lounge it self was small. Also felt rushed when it was time to leave.

The lounge was extremely overcrowded. There were far too many people in there so there was nowhere to sit. The numbers should be limited, when you reach a certain number, no more bookings to be accepted.

Despite booking and paying for three hours, we were not informed baggage can only be dropped three hours prior to boarding. In effect, this meant paying for three hours but only being allowed about one and a half hours. The lounge was far too full with no comfortable chairs left. The food was very poor. Certainly not worth the money paid at all. I will certainly not be recommending your lounge to anyone.

As a very frequent business class flyer with work I use this lounge a lot, never had a problem with the facilities, always good food, good ambiance, drinks are good and the facilities staff are always very courteous. On this visit however, the whole experience was spoiled by the judgemental attitude of the staff attending the front desk when our party arrived. We were 3 x couples 1 x 10 year old child and had purchased a lounge pass on holiday extras. When we arrived, we were told that we should not be allowed access due to the party size (all families booked separately) and that she (the lady at the desk) would allow it just this once as well as telling us to ensure we keep the noise down and do not disturb the other guests!!! I have never felt so "class" separated in my life! As stated above, I travel often in business class, hold a flying blue platinum card and before now arrived at the lounge with 9 colleagues (all travelling business) and have never received a "dressing down" from the desk staff at ANY lounge. I feel affronted to have recommended buying access to my friends for the way they were made to feel when the idea was to begin our holiday on a high and the reality was an assumption by the desk staff that we would cause a ruckus because we were not travelling on a business class ticket.

The lounge was very busy and hard to get a seat. We had to wait a long time for the bacon sandwiches. There was not enough variety of food.

Was crowded, could not sit together. Was loud, just not a special experience for the expense. Doug Hammer

I use the lounge regular as it benefits me. I however find staff rude and abrupt and quite snappy at you. There is s notice stating ask staff when you want a drink. When I did I received a very snotty response of she was putting the lid on the pasta. A simple 'Not a problem. I won't be a moment, I'm just sorting this' would have left me and other guest feeling less irate. May I add this is NOT the first time the member of staff has been like this with myself.

I am sorry but I found the Aspire does not live up to my expectation. There was hardly any staff; there was no food available except for cold soup which I was asked to wait until it was warm. Even then the temperature barely reached luke warm. It was however very quiet either because Aspire lounge has a poor reputation or there was not many people travelling at that time.

Drinks and snacks were very poor and not comparable with your lounge for long haul passengers, which has quite a lager assortment. It was very disappointing for the money we paid. Regards, Marion Andriessen

Arrived and not informed where to go, we did advise we hadn't been before. Most of the food empty and weren't being replenished. Had to wait a while to be served a drink. Overall a very poor experience for the money.

I was disappointed with the choice of food. We were even assigned specific seats to sit in. Never going there again.

Very disapointed this was our first time and found the food very poor ..soup and a few limited sandwiches cheese and crackers ! Needed to wait for food to be topped up then wait for bar service ..would of rather used the money to have a proper drink and meal pre flight ! Won't be doing it again sorry

Arrived at lounge to be told it was full , man at desk called manager who just shrugged his shoulders giving no apology. We waited ten mins then we were shown to the smallest space for three . I must say the food was very good but what a let down the rest of the experience was. This was our first visit to a lounge and I have to say we'd be better looked after in the main terminal. I appreciate that places get full but surely the whole point of paying to use a lounge is that you get a bit of leg room and do not have to sit like sardines at a table. Disappointed Graint Evans

Myself and my boyfriend was very excited when we got our tickets for Aspire lounge before heading out for our holiday. The menu sounded lovely and we chose this lounge based on what the website told us. However, when we got to Aspire lounge in Gatwick North, we was very disappointed to find that there wasn't as big of selection as we thought. The menu on the website stated that there would be fresh cakes all day- I took the second to last slice of cake, and no more cake was put out after this time. There also said that there would be fresh pasta out from !6:00, there was no pasta to be seen. There was also no fresh bread rolls to go with the soup; which was also on the menu. Had we known that not all the food would be out, we would have not have chosen to go to this lounge before our get away. There was also works being done around the food counter, which wasn't stated on the website.

VERY DISSAPOINED IN THE LOUNGE AT GATWICK AND FELT A BIT RIPPED OF AS THE SELECTION OF FOOD WAS VERY POOR. [ NOTHING LIKE THE VISIT TO THE EDINBURGH LOUNGE WHERE THERE WAS A VASTLY MORE SELECTIVE CHOICE AVAILABLE ]. THERE WAS NOTHING THERE TO EAT WHEN WE GOT IN THE LOUNGE AT AROUND 1130AM, THERE WAS A MUSHROOM SOUP AVAILABLE IN A COLDRIN AND SOME COLD QUASANTS TO EAT, NOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE EXSPECTING AND CERTANLY NOT A GREAT CHOICE. OUT OF THE 6 OF US THAT I PAID FOR [ 4 USING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME ] AND ME TELLING THEM IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO GRAB SOMETHING TO EAT AND DRINK AND RELAX BEFORE THE FLIGHT NO ONE ATE ANYTHING, FELT A LOT LET DOWN. WHEN I ASKED AT THE COUNTER ENTRANCE ABOUT ADDITIONAL FOOD THEY SAID THAT WAS ALL THAT WAS AVAILABLE DUE TO THE TIME OF DAY IT WAS SO BASICALY SOUNDED LIKE TAKE IT OR LUMP IT.SORRY TO SAY I WILL NOT BE USING THE LOUNGE AGAIN AS I WOULD NOT LIKE TO BE DISSAPOINTED FOR A SECOND TIME BUT YOUSE HAVE MY MONEY NOW SO NO DOUBT NOTHING WILL HAPPEN ABOUT IT. REGARDS MR HUGILL
