Terrible service and rip off prices, anything I mentioned added more money to the quote and they had the gall to charge me an extortionate cancellation fee...for two minutes if their time! Got over 13 insurers online that were over 50% cheaper

Been with admiral for a year now started my policy in August last year, changed car exactly a month later with no issues. Just renewed my policy, husband has gained 3points for his excellent driving skills this year, renewal quote cheaper than any other even through comparison sites and direct searches. Absolute breeze updating my details and arranging renewal. Customer service has always been excellent helpful and friendly staff!

I am happy with policy but have experienced real difficulty with accessibility to online documents. I do most of my banking etc on line but this is the worst I have experienced!

I took out home insurance, and at the time they asked if I'd be interested in a quote for car insurance (when it was due 9 months later). I said yes. Next thing I get a cover note and motor policy and they wanted a payment. Although they apologised and didn't take money I decided to tell them I wasn't interested in motor insurance with them. They then said I'd got a 'multi insurance' quote and wanted another £50. I told them no way and they backed down. I'm appalled by their shady practices and the sooner I can take my business elsewhere the better. I just don't trust them. What they did wasn't what you'd expect from a boae fide company!

Ok service but expensive to add a temporary visitor to policy ( £50 for a week 51 yr old with no points or accidents )

Cheap and okay at first but when switching my car for another one more than half the value of the first one and a 1ltrs engine compared to a 3ltrs they only knocked £20 off. Got a quote elsewhere and it was £300's cheaper. Won't be going to them again too exspensive.

What ever you do don't get a policy with admiral promise you the earth and don't deliver really regret taking a policy with them

Even one star is too much. Avoid at all costs; I had a car accident with minor dent and some steering damage. Garage brought it back to me after 3 weeks and 100 phone calls later, not even fixed properly. Had to be returned back to the garage to fix the cheap work which had been done. Worst of all is that I had to chase for everything, no communication from them which made the situation stressful and disappointing. For info I am with bell insurance, which is dealt with by admiral, all the same thing.

We had an accident and unfortunately our car was written off. Admiral fully paid out for our car within a week without any form filling. Everything was carried out on-line with no fuss at all. Brilliant service.

They miscalculated my renewal when i noticed an error they had made i called to corrent it to betold thanks that will be another £160. Do not recommend

Absolutely dreadful customer service. They don't even respond to complaints. The way they handle claims is abysmal, caving in to third party demands at the drop of a hat. Avoid at all costs, they'll cost you a lot of money in the long run, your insurance will go up even if the third party claim is bogus and your no claims bonus is affected obviously. Disgusted with their lack of professionalism. Can only assume they have work experience or school leavers dealing with claims!

I'm trying to add myself to my terminally ill father's Admiral car insurance policy and have spent many hours on the phone (mainly on hold) to some call centre in India, when I should be spending time with my father during his final few days of life. I have been fobbed off by numerous idiots, giving me pathetic excuse after excuse, and the simple task of adding me to his policy has still not been resolved. I always use Aviva for my car insurance, and I'm sure they would not give such inexcusably disgusting service. I would not wish Admiral on my worst enemy. I would give Admiral ZERO stars if possible.

I found it quick and easy to talk to someone and the information that I asked for was easy to understand. I explained that I had learning difficulties and the man was helpful and made sure that I understood before finishing the conversation.
