“Just a friendly warning to anyone thinking of going with Admiral for their car insurance. They may be cheap but don't expect them to do much good if you ever need them. Someone drove into the back of me down a hill whilst I was stopped at a red light. He refused to give me his details and drove off. I contacted Admiral who tracked him down, and he is claiming I reversed into him back up the hill. After 6 months of poor customer service, delaying and lack of contact, I have been told that unless I get it fixed using their garage (3x as expensive as others I have spoken to), and risk losing my no claims, then they won't take it any further. The damage was not bad, in fact there was already a crack there which was exacerbated, so it's simply not worth the risk. I have had to drop the case. The worst thing was that they also added that they are not confident they could win the case as there were no witnesses. What is the point in having insurance if they can't win clear cut cases?”

“I found one of the best car and financial institution who really helps me out in understanding my policy better and after participating in a short survey and receiving an instrument for 3 months (before my car insurance expires) to attach into my cigarette lighter, I could also achieve to pay less for my insurance next year. “I sent a copy of my previous Insurance showing my No claims record to Admiral, which they said they had not received and my purchased policy would be void in 24hrs. Fortunately I had a copy of that document which I sent by secure mail that day. Obviously in a state of some alarm, I phoned Admiral to ensure that my cover was in place. The lady I spoke to said it had been received, and my insurance was in place! Question? Who lost my documents, was it Royal Mail, or was it lost in-house Admiral. % Probably Royal Mail as I hope to keep Admiral as my insurer.”
