Still waiting for car to be inspected after 5 months! They claim to require a police report before they can handle the claim, stating that 'in the majority of cases we require a police report, which can take some time to arrive and we may decide to repudiate liability under the terms of the policy if the police decide to prosecute'. They continue by stating that they are unable to identify the precise Condition of the policy upon which they will repudiate!! A complaint to their C.E.O. has simply been referred back to the original handlers! Utter imcompetence! Avoid like the plague.

Worst company I have ever used for insurance. Incredible that they are allowed to operate so fraudulently.

Please please please do not touch this con artists ! There is not room anymore in my life for stress like this kind , sooo unprofessional I have cancelled my policy with them before the annual review as because they was charging £700 more then other insurance companies! Then I get letters to say I owe them £25 pounds for cancelling the direct debit and bad credit will follow! Con con con ! Very upset and distressed as I’m a good punctual payer and top credit rating! Never again ! I’ll tell all my friends not to touch them !

Avoid! Had accident a week ago, still waiting for courtesy car. I have added this option because I need a car for work. Poor customer service. Spend how many hours on the phone, they don't even bother to call back.

Don't bother with this insurer. After storm Arwen, we claimed for house damage. We waited over 10 days post claim submission, just to see the assessor. We've been unable to speak with the assessor as they don't answer their phone, have had no communication from them and Admiral themselves, have been unable to provide us with any other information, other than for some conversations to suggest we get additional quotes and others to say we don't need to as the assessors will fix things. When the assessor did finally come out, they've said that virtually none of our damage is storm damage! This is despite us now having a front door which pours water through it with a northerly wind now, which the assessor says can't be happening as the seals are intact - they would they like to explain why the front of our house is wet every time it rains then! Total shambles from the beginning, with appalling customer care and communication and a totally insulting, belittling and dismissive response from the assessor that has left me feeling physically sick. What's the point in paying my insurance premiums?

I was hit by an uninsured driver 12th November 2020.....still waiting for the Injuries claim to be settled after having everything closed off months ago. It took a Supervisor 5 weeks to sign a report!!! Now waiting 2 weeks for an assessor to take the Company van for repair.

I cancelled my car insurance policy today because I had to sell my car . I got charged £55 for doing this . After having paid my years insurance in full three months ago and having been a loyal customer for years , there is no justification for this fee . Makes me feel robbed . Disgusted .

My policy ended on 20.08.2021 and I called admin to inform that I sold my car the same day. After about two months I got email and it says I have to pay an outstanding balance because and my policy was cancelled on 11/09/2021. I really don't know what's going on. I've been driving for 24 years and I never been treated like admin did. avoid this company

Awful customer service. If you make a change to your policy they will leave you high and dry, cut your policy and hang up leaving you on your own with no insurance. They will also take a fee for the insult before you get a chance to discuss. Avoid them - might seem cheap but wont help you out when you need the service you have paid for.

First year took the money then kept harassing us for payment until we sent them a photo copy of the bank statement proving we had paid. Before the renewal date the following year we rang them (after cancelling our debit card) to say we wouldn't be renewing with them again. We spoke to a man called Isaac who kept insisting we give him our new card number. We said they wouldn't need it as we were not renewing with them. Guess what? They sent us a policy saying we owed them the money. So I wrote a letter to their complaints dept as you cannot get an email to them. 5 days later we received an email from them saying if they had to cancel the insurance they would make a charge. This is their mistake and they are harassing us. Well I say bring it on.I am prepared to go to court over this.In which case they will be owing US money for court fees/inconvenience etc etc

There a total disgrace. They try bullying tactics. And when that didn't work they cancelled the hire car. Leaving me with no car and not a penny received. My parents are in a care home 100 miles away so now they can't have visit as I have no transport. That's what they call good service!!!! The accident was not even my fault. They should be stopped trading by the government regulator's

Car taken away for repairs, and no courtesy car provided. Advised "quote for repairs must be approved before courtesy car provided". Days have passed. Without a car, cannot go to work, cannot go on holiday as planned. Terrible customer service. How can you leave a family without a car for so long? Most insurers would provide courtesy car at the time of collecting customer's car.

The worst company to deal with. Never make the mistake of assuming they are worth using for insurance because they are the cheapest...as the saying goes you pay peanuts you get monkeys. 6 months to pay out on a non fault claim. Continuous pressure to use sister company admiral law who send letters as though you have signed documents. Harassing phone calls. Under value the vehicle and demonstrate no knowledge of how to value. Fail to answer queries. Given crime numbers and details of police officers dealing and have the cheek to say without contacting them that they are processing claim as potential fault. Left me without a vehicle for 6 months. Assessors weren't passed documents. Assessors didn't go out to view vehicle despite the fact that all they had to do was arrange viewing with police and suggested I go and take pictures after I was nearly killed in the accident. No thought to flashbacks I still have Left me to collect vehicle two weeks prior to giving birth. Still ongoing so will contact ombudsman.

Have a few policies, aparentally in 2021 they cant be linked to the same email or account!!! advised me to set up more than one email, refused me access to legally required documents, rude staff, didn't respond to calls emails etc.. as promised, no help at all. One staff member confirmed another had lied to me, but dint apologise. I will be going to the financial ombudsman as they still haven't even given me a receipt. and no documents at all for my car insurance, took the money mind.

I requested to ‘NOT automatically renew’ my policy last year. However admiral suddenly changed it to “automatically renew” just before my contract expiry date without my agreement. Furthermore, Admiral renewed my insurance policy at a premium higher than the renewal quotation without notifying me and without my approval. On my last contract date, I called Admiral in the evening, but their phone line closed an hour before their publicised closing hour. As a result I could not stop the renewal. I called Admiral the next day and asked for cancellation of my renewal. However, Admiral tried to charge me £25 cancellation fee. Finally, I sent an email to the CEO of Admiral group to complaint about this. The customer assurance executive, Beth Jones, replied and explained that the premium increase was based on statistics, the renewal quote was just a price of offer, which I was under no obligation to accept a quotation. I totally disagreed with her explanation. I believe that a renewal quotation is valid until the renewal date, Admiral shouldn’t make any changes after the renewal quotation was sent. She didn’t answer why they changed my renewal to automatic renewal. I left Admiral now.

I am taking them to the financial ombudsman because they have still not refunded me the £63.34 they owe me from June (it is now October). Their call centres are in India so wait times are long and their agents know nothing about your case when you eventually get through. They are unhelpful, rude, and do not care.

I am so so disappointed with the service i recieved if you are to call it 'service'. Back in February last year I had a vehicle go in to the back of mine and spun me on the roundabout on my way home from work. I instructed that it was the third parties fault which it was and that I would not settle for 50/50. During this time it was apparent that despite all evidence presented and even though I had instructed admiral to take it to court they were not going to do that and wanted to settle on 50/50 which was just ludicrous. I told them that I do not agree to this but the person dealing with my claim sent me a rude email back basically saying tough and that they were not going to do what I had asked despite the repair report on my car stating that this could not have possibly been my fault. To top it off I was due to renew my insurance in November but have cancelled it due to no longer owning the vehicle. They have now stated that deposit being over the point where I am entitled to receive my no claims bonus that I will not get it unless unless insure another vehicle with them! I am absolutely disgusted and am looking at taking this further. I advise anyone renewing or taking out insurance not to go with this company as they only care about themselves and how they squeeze as much money out of you as possible.
