“I received some flowers for Mothers Day from my two girls, whom I haven’t been able to see for for a long time. The flowers arrived in water and it was a lovely surprise but the lisianthus were all drooping. I hoped trimming the stems and fresh water would revive them, but sadly not. They look very sad and I am a bit cross that my girls would have spent a lot of money on them - not very good at all M & S!!!!!”

“I sent M and S flowers to my elderly parents which did arrive on time. The quality of the flowers was pretty disgusting. A massive card board box contained a few dead flowers. The bouquet was nothing like the picture. We are so disappointed. I certainly would not use again or recommend to anyone. What is happening?”

“Ordered flowers for my Mum to be delivered the day after Mothers day. Got a time slot of 4:15 to 6:15pm. Flowers didn't turn up until 9:45pm and deivery driver didn't even ring the bell to let us know they had arrived. The flowers are half the size of the bouquet in the picture and starting to wilt also one of the roses stem was broken. Really not impressed!!!”

“Ordered flowers for my 91 year old mother in law for mother’s day. They didn’t arrive so I called the next morning. waited on hold for 30 minutes then I was told, sorry about that we’ll deliver them next Friday! I asked to speak to a manager but told no one available. Asked for a manager to call me when available and told ok but it could be a few days. This is unacceptable from Marks & Spencer. With COVID I cannot see her now thanks to Marks & Spencer Mother’s Day was ruined. Shame on you, disgusting, disappointed and customer care non existence”

“My daughter sent me huge bouquet for Mothering Sunday. The dark pink roses are OK the small roses are dead. I am so disappointed. Come on M&S surely you can do better than that”

“My wife receive a bouquet of flowers from our son yesterday for Mother’s Day. I would imagine they were quite expensive. They are an absolute disgrace - 24 hours after receiving them they are wilting, the white rose heads are drooping and are already discoloured - see attached photos. I purchased flowers for my wife for our anniversary last year from M&S by post - they were awful as well. Never again - see photos attached”

“I ordered Mother’s Day flowers for my 92 yr old mum . They arrived on time but by today Tuesday they are virtually dead ! Very few flowers for the money ! Very , very disappointed! Will not be doing that again !”

“Zero stars actually. I ordered Mothers' day flowers with M&S, many days before the date. I had emails on Saturday and Sunday saying they were on their way, then another on Sunday saying they were delayed, then finally at 1753hrs on the day, they cancelled the order and refunded. I couldn't be more upset. This was to go to my 96 year old mum in hospital where I can't visit her. I shall never use them again.”

“Ordered my mum flowers prosecco and chocolates for mother's Day. Nothing arrived!!! I'm disgusted as I've received no phone call no e-mail or anything. So were M and S going to just pocket my money and just not deliver anything! That is theft. I have no regard for this company anymore, they are a shambles. Still on hold with M and S - 20 minutes and still going ............”

“No flowers or champagne to take a photo of as they didn’t arrive!! No phone call to apologise, just an email with a 30% discount off future flower orders!! Why would I order more when you couldn’t even deliver the first ones. Really disappointed given how long it has been since I have seen my Mum and the way this has been handled”

“I bought the flowers in a box for my friend in January they came in a box that was wet ,then the flowers were in a green bag that was wet and the flowers looked nothing like the picture. Now my sister bought some for mothers day same idea but a oink box they are really poor flowers for the money spent . Never again M&S”

“Haven’t seen my mother for a year so for Mother’s Day I thought would send flowers and wine through marks and Spencer’s bound to be good( joke) so upset and disappointed for her, got her carer to take photo for me as my mum said their lovely ad she knew I’d be upset, never again will I order from you”

“I ordered flowers and chocolates for mum too arrive on Mother’s Day I ordered them on Monday 10 March plenty time for marks and spencer too arrange so I thought. Yesterday I got an email to say dpd would deliver and sent a text message on delivery slot for Mothering Sunday . Well hear I am this evening neither a text from dpd are flowers and chocolates did not get delivered . To say I am annoyed is a understatement. I paid a lot of money to marks as I thought a reputable company to deliver and I now I feel left down , I rang customer service this evening after an hour wait too speak to a very unhelpful person no apology and said oh flowers could arrive tomorr . Tomorr is not good enough. Thank goodness got a refund.”
