I phoned regarding my renewal,as I have a different card than the one held by yourselves.I was asked if I had the renewal notice.YES. I had.i was asked if I had read the relevant details of the policy.YES I had ..your agent proceeded to question me and read all the details of the policy although I had told her I had read them,and all I wanted was to renew with a different card.If I was using the same card my policy would have been renewed without any third degree questions..Not happy about this

The price and policy are fine but the automatic renewal is not. The policy was due for renewal on the 20th. I get paid on the 16th so there should have been no problem. Policy Expert decided to take the money out on the 13th meaning I now have bank charges. In the modern day it is quite possible to take the money one day before it is due.The outcome is Policy Expert will not be considered next year for insurance. Well done.

This is also to ensure that we do not leave our customers without cover unknowingly in case there are any issues with processing the payment. Reasonable value. I've never had to make a claim though so I can't really comment on service.

Fine for year 1, but then renewal involved an increase in fees with reduction of services. Customer Service not very helpful, so renewal cancelled. Looking elsewhere. A shame no sense of loyalty to existing customers.

We were not very pleased that they cancelled our policy and opened a fresh one as we only needed a slight alteration to it. So we lost 18 days of the policy.we phoned them up and complained they said they could do nothing about it as they cancelled it ,we will not be coming back to you next year. And as of yet they have still not sent us details of the new policy

fair price compared to last year. The only problem with a review is that it does not show how good you are if i need to claim. All companies are good at taking money.

While I don’t really know what kind of company you are when it comes to making a claim, I was very disappointed with the renewal process. You took the money out a week before which we weren’t expecting as we don’t read every email sent so more notification is needed and We had actually requested that we didn’t have auto renewal when we bought it originally but that made no difference, you still claimed we did. Very poor

Have been more than happy with policy expert for past 2 years, no complaints. But our renewal price was extortiately more than it's rivals and they weren't able to reduce their price. Have therefore reluctantly changed .

Good morning, I am sorry to hear that your policy premium increased at renewal. Unfortunately, even if you have not claimed, an increase is sometimes unavoidable. This can be due to various things such as general inflation, underwriting criteria changing, Insurance Premium Tax increasing and so on. We are always working on reducing our premiums each year, so please bear us in mind for any future insurance requirements, as we may be able to offer you a more competitive premium in future. Good product, would be better if you didn't get umpteen phone calls trying to get you to renew all the time. Some people don't appreciate the "hard sell"

It would be nice to have the option to change the policy instead of taking out the legal cover and charging more for the policy.

As a valued customer I would expect the best value for money to be offered when my renewal is due but as with most insurance companies i had to threaten to go elsewhere before I was given a competitive quote.

Good afternoon, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. A confirmation of purchase email is automatically sent at the point of purchase but I have sent you out a copy of your policy documents today, they will be with you within 3-5 working days. When you are within 30 days of the expiry date of your policy we will send you out your renewal invite, if you do not wish to renew all you have to do is respond to confirm this. No issues once I'd connected to chat over my renewal quote. They were very generous and offered me free home emergency cover, reduced my excess and somehow manged to reduce the price! I only wish they had the common decency and respect to have done this in the first instance rather than trying to blindly rob me with a ridiculous inflated renewal.

My original quote was very competitive but successive renewals have become increasingly disappointing. More annoying is the fact that 'Policy Expert' insists on holding my credit card details 'for convenience at renewal'. Sorry folks but rather than being convenient, I find it a bloody cheek and unless you reign in your quotes a bit, this will be the last renewal you get from me.

I am sorry to hear your premium has increased slightly over the years, this could be down to the increase in insurance premium tax, inflation or a change in the risk of the property. 30 days prior to the renewal of your policy we would always send out your renewal invite stating the proposed cover, premium, etc. This allows you time to review the renewal and shop around if required. It also allows our customers a month to make any required changes or opt out of renewing.
