been insured for them for 2 years, initially had an issue with proving NCD and after complaining (by email) they advised what was required for the proof (my error with proof I sent). Although online and no telephone support if you email they do reply with advice on how to change a policy. Saw earlier post about cost of changing car and so was worried when I bought a new car. Premium did go up but when asked why it was explained due to the car itself and I was not being charged any 'fee' to change the car. Read the reviews previously and took the opinion that people take out an 'online only' policy to get cheaper insurance but then complain that they cant speak to someone (except if I wanted to make a claim, you can call their claims number anytime but not had to yet). My experience seems to confirm that as long as you contact them with any issues within reasonable time then any problem can be resolved. Although not related, in my job we get complaints after the event as my clients wait until its too late before contacting me so wonder if its the same here.

After a no fault accident Quote me Happy sent my car to "their" repairers. Solus accident repair centre. They returned our car in a disgusting state. Cowboy insurer cowboy repairers. AVOID

Cancelled my policy to stop it renewing and received my cancellation email and they still take the renewal out of my bank many days later. Will be officially complaining because the service is a shambles! Put my insurance up £70 a month for no reason!!!! Despite being over 25 and having over 5 years no claims! AVOID

Nightmare!!! Served a default notice due to non payment when i had already mailed a change of bank details!!!! Now they want 1.5% on top of the new payment!!! You cannot talk to anyone via telephone AT ALL. I have contacted the financial ombudsman!Absolute disgrace.

Nightmare scenario. Cant speak to a real person other than for a claim. Anything else is a no no. Avoid

No way of contacting you by telephone is just unacceptable in this day and age, when insurance is a legal requirement. Would not recommend any company that is uncontactable by phone

After being passed from operator to operator on four occasions by so called customer service personnel, I was passed to Darryl in the Sheffield office ,who,guess what? listened to my query, thought about it for a few seconds looked into the issue and RESOLVED it. Well done Darryl in the Sheffield office, you did in 5 minutes, what four of your colleagues could not do at all. Thanks.

Im new driver as I received my licence in the beginning of April 2016. I filled up the quote ( 0 year NCD, 9 months bonus ). Ive got the quote about it around 1700£/year. I was so happy is "not" that bad as a new driver etc. After 2 weeks they are sending me an email they have to charge me around 700£ more as I have 0 year NCD. Im asking: Why cant they just say this at the quote stage? Even I filled up there?? Because I wouldn't change my previous insurer ! So dodgy! On the top of that they take 27.50£ for administration fee... ehh? I AM the unhappy person!! for an automatic email i need to pay 27.50£... Won't use them again...

My car was hit by someone and they drove off and left my car written off. The team at quote me happy have been fantastic, they have sorted this issue for me, arranged collection of my car and a cheque was sent to the value of my car very quickly and everything has been communicated well. This was a horrible incident to have happened to me a few weeks before Christmas, but the quote me happy team made it much easier for me, would highly recommend to anyone seeking car insurance!

My car was written off earlier this year and they were incredibly helpful and efficient. The claim was settled and paid out within 2 weeks. No hassle, no fuss. You save money with the fact that they are an online only insurer but the app is easy to use and you can update details where needed but when you need them their claims department are available by phone. I cannot fault their service.

Had been with Quote me Happy 5 years. A bit daunting at first as it was an on line thing but no need to be. An easy website to understand, alas there's no loyalty with insurance companies these days and sadly got a cheaper quote elsewhere with this years renewal. Will definitely be returning for another quote next renewal though.

Do NOT,.DO NOT use these people. Their websites do not work and you have no contact other than by email to which they will reply within two days...supposedly They are a SCANDAL..all I wanted was a quote possibly to swop cars and it has been a nightmare..Three days later and i still do not have a quote. You have been WARNED..

As a quite a few previous emails state. They do not accept No Claims Proof even after you have met the criteria. I got an email saying it had uploaded but then after a week I received a letter saying they had cancelled my Insurance. This is reckless and leaving people at risk for something that is easily rectifiable. I had no message of why they just decided that my proof of No Claims was disregarded. Now they are charging £50 on top of all the other fees for them cancelling. At one point I thought that this was an illegal scam but it is actually a legal scam. PLEASE BEWARE.

This company are by far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with shoddy customer service and blatant lies from a customer service rep. Save yourself a lot of stress and steer well clear of this company they are incapable of handling a claim.

Renewal price from them was ridiculous Called up & cancelled auto renewal on my card They then sent me a quote valid for 30 days which was reasonable , so I went on to buy it through email link . After checking all my details were correct & i pressed continue to buy when it changed the amount changed to over £100 dearer Had no luck contacting them so had to email asking why this happened & that I wanted policy at the original email price Reply 24hours later: "Thank you for getting in touch. The quote is showing on our system as £502.07. The price only changes if a change is made to the quote. Any change will cause the quote to be re-rated on our existing rates and this figure can't be changed. Any change however small has this affect. I am sorry we are unable to reduce the premium quoted." If you need any further assistance don't hesitate to get in touch. After trying to contact them via the email service on their app, I contacted them on their Facebook page where a lady named Michelle dealt with my query very quickly and efficiently.
