I booked this company for transfers because my father has recently passed away and my mother and I needed to travel to Italy at the last minute, we had to travel from Bologna airport to Castrocaro Terme , a journey that takes approximately an hour, so this was no small journey. We weren’t arriving until 6.30pm so I booked the driver to pick us up at 7.00pm with a name card. My mother is 71 and quite fragile, which was why the service seemed so ideal, I also booked a return service to take us back to Bologna airport which cost just over €200.00 . When we arrived, there was no driver and no card, I checked outside the airport while my mother remained at arrivals, I then attempted to call both numbers on the paperwork, both were shut until 9.30am the next morning, I even got the information desk at the airport to try, not convinced I had the right numbers. We waited for an hour and ten minutes (the paperwork stated the driver would wait for 60 minutes) only for no driver to arrive! I was upset and my mother was tired . We ended up having to take a twenty minute bus journey to the station and a further half an hour journey by train the forli, where we were fortunate enough to be taken by an independent taxi driver to a our final destination in Castrocaro, suffice to say, I was relieved when the driver offered us his card for a return journey, which was prompt and the driver wouldn’t even take a tip on either journey, compared to this company , he was a dream! I contacted gettransfers the same night by messenger as this was the only service available to both complain and cancel my return journey. They apologised and I was told I would receive a refund in full, that was over a week ago, I am now being told it may be a month before I receive a refund, despite paying on debit card. I have been in touch with them consistently since I returned, made it clear how unhappy I was with the service, which you would assume would spur them into action, but I am now being told that my refund will take 30 days plus because of the Coronavirus. It’s just terrible customer service after terrible customer service. I would highly recommend avoiding this company like the plague , if I could have left zero stars then I would have done.

I cant believe no one has shut them down. These people are cruel, deceptive and take complete advantage of people who actually work for a living.

Booked minibus (driver stated upto 8 people and 6 suitcases). My party was 5 adults, 1 child. However I missed the child off the booking by mistake. When I tried to amend this they requested another £40 off me. Even though the minibus was under capacity. So out of interest I asked for a price for 3 adults 1 child. Guess what, same price as my original 5 adult quote. 🤔

They have cancelled the reservation an hour before arrival. So we had to wait hour at the airport. Also they charge you anyway. I will never use their service again.

These people are cowboys subcontracting with dubious local firms who then charge a supplement Use them at your peril My wife used them and despite coming out in time they weren’t on site and charged her a supplement for the delay

Avoid this outfit at all costs- I had to drive the mini-bus myself. They were an hour and a half late to pick us up from Innsbruck, Austria train station and take us to Civetta,Italy on the 15th Feb. That was the least of our problems. After around 45 minutes of very slow going the driver stopped and disappeared behind a bus shelter. When he came back he was holding a lump of ice to his head. He only spoke Russian and used Google translate to explain that he had altitude sickness as he had been driving up and down mountains since 5 am ( it was now midnight). As we were half way up the mountain I had no choice but to take the the wheel and drive to the hotel myself, almost certainly without insurance. I had to keep stopping the minibus so that the driver could vomit with the bus rolling back as it didn't have a handbrake. After a few goes and with my family screaming in my ears I worked out it had an additional foot brake. We eventually arrived in one piece at 3a.m. This experience cost me 280 euros . Get Transfer refused my requests for compensation.I felt really sorry for the driver who was obviously being exploited by this awful company , If Get Transfer are allowed to continue operating there will be an accident

This company made me ill. They take your money and you get NOTHING in return. We had to get our solicitors involved. We were told they could not fulfil our contract. We were told unless we handed over our credit card details they could not pick us up. They said the price would be much higher for the same journey. We then had e mails from 9 different people making false promises. The worst experience of my life. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE. I would hate anyone else to go through what we did.

Am a driver in GetTransfer since 1 month and half, the company should pay me every month as per my request, actually till now one month and half no payment is shown as I’ve contact with all their departments to solve activation my account and unfortunately no responses from Support Managers, partner support or even finance they are all asking to write to another one without taking any responsibility to solve this issue.

Driver cancels overnight for a morning booking is one major inconvenience. Having to deal with thick Blockheads in thier customer service is even worse though. Avoid using this company completely. You simply can not trust them

Get transfer accuses us of lying. No driver arrived for airport pickup. No response from him for 2 weeks but Get Transfer believe the driver who says he picked us up in Rio. When we arrived at the airport there was a young guy with a sign waiting for us. It was NOT the driver. He left us and another young guy arrived asking for us, who spoke little English. He was NOT the driver. He took us in a lift to another part of the airport and said that he would phone the driver. We were very frightened. After waiting half an hour in total, another guy came who was an official airport taxi employee. We insisted that we would wait no longer and he took us to the airport taxi rank. Now Get transfer want to see a receipt!!! Of course we have no receipt.

The refund process is worse then you can think.. Company sends email stating that it may take upto 30 business days before you get credit.

The driver's name was David and he dropped our party off at the wrong location. He could not even put the requested address in his phone app to get us to the correct location. We tried contacting him via an app and he said he would come back to correct his error. He never showed up and we had to spend additional money to get to our intended destination. This company did not want to refund our money.

I was looking for an airport taxi in Colombo. I surfed and "Get Transfer" came up on the list. I used them last August in Bucharest. I wrongly booked the taxi for a day later than the day that we arrived. We realised our error on the flight to Bucharest and rang the driver to cancel-he said he would inform the company. I tried to claim a refund but my experience was similar to many people who have written reviews. I would not touch this company. I will never use them again

Do not touch these guys with a bargepole, taxis don't turn up, customer service is shocking and they won't refund you either! If I could give them zero stars I would. Booked a return transfer from Venice to Cortina and never happened. I contacted the driver via email prior to departure with no response. I then tried again to confirm my pick up with no response. I then tried through the gettransfers app, no response. I contacted gettransfers to let them know my concerns. They tried contacting him and guess what.... No response! I then asked them what would happen if he wasn't there to pick me up, I was advised that they were contractually obliged to pick me up. They didn't! Their customer service team is laughable. On arrival bin Venice I called them to find out where my driver was and was told they couldn't contact him and to "get an Uber"!!!!!! I hired a car instead to ensure we could get back. Amusingly a couple of days after I got back to the UK they actually emailed me asking if the return leg of my journey took place. Surely they should of checked this before the day of my return leg, given that it was the same driver and they had no idea that I'd hired a car for the duration of my holiday. I was considerably put out by this company and put through a considerable amount of stress at the start of my holiday and it hasn't ended there! Firstly I was considerably out of pocket and all they offered was a piecemeal credit towards my next transfer. I would never use them again, so this was never going to be accepted. It gets worse though. I was informed that they would refund me in 14 days. I have just received an email saying they cannot refund me as my credit card company will not work with them? I called my credit card company and read the email they sent me out to them, the individual I spoke to was almost laughing! It has got to my credit card's refund team to sort. Apparently they charge drivers over 20% of the fair which is why they won't turn up if they can get a better passenger instead. They don't like you telling people the truth about how shocking their company is and have blocked me on Twitter for comments around poor service. Gettransfers is nothing but a scam. To sum it up NO TAXI, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMPENSATION and NO REFUND!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They are an absolute joke. Canceled 2 bookings with them and still have not received a refund!!!! They insist they are having problems with their system!!!!! Take your money upfront but do not credit you on cancellation AVOID USING THEM AT ALL COSTS

Beware of the deceptive service. Never use this service. Transfer was booked to pick up from Helsinki airport. No show, no calls and still didn’t get refund. Will file complaints with the BBB about the fraudulent company.

Travelled to cyprus, paid in advance for return. taxi driver let me know he won't show up, that i should talk to customer service. Had to take a taxi. They told me i would have to return with him. And no refund ! What if he doesn't show? They expect me to take a chance on missing my flight? No thank you!

booked a transfer to pick me up in Sri Lanka in January. I was travelling alone so it felt better to have something booked. No one showed up, no one answered the phone. I had to organise something else. It is now March and I’m still fighting to get my money back. No one at the office cares, no one has apologised. They keep telling me 10 days and I’ll get it back, that was 32 days ago. Utterly appalling. DO NOT use these FRAUDSTERS My husbands car did pick him up however and his driver went the wrong way and was almost asleep at the wheel.

Just cancelled my booking since the driver won’t reply my messages and been told I’ll get my refund within 15 and 20 business days. When I asked wtf?? They said technical issues and not replying anymore. Trying to speak with a superior and report this but they won’t reply again.
