Recently got home from work went on your website and subsequently reserved a pair rear shock absorbers and drove across accross town in rush hour to buy as they were very cheap. However the price was for a single item not a pair as one would assume. This type of 'clever marketing ploys' altermately just fustrate and anger your customers. You replace shocks in pairs like pads or discs - it's a cheap trick. I would'nt have driven across town in rush hour if I'd know the price was infact double that stated. Sneaky tactics will only loose you custom in the long run.

I entered my vehicle details into the webpage and arranged for collection. When I got my stuff home and removed the parts to replace they were all but one for the wrong type of car. I drove quite a way so didn’t fancy wasting more money on fuel returning them and went to another car superstore (Halfords).

The wiper blades I ordered online didn't fit, despite the website telling me that they would when I entered my car registration. I returned the items to my local branch (Ipswich) where they were very helpful and sourced the correct blades for me. These however cost twice the amount as I had used a discount voucher online and this then wasn't valid on the replacement blades which was disappointing. If the website had been correct, I would have had the wiper blades much cheaper. The false information on your site has cost me over £20 extra!

Drove 6miles to Feltham store to be told I couldn't purchase item seen on website at the offer price but if I ordered on my mobile I could have it in an hour at the on line price!! The world's gone mad!!

Ordered two items online . Went the next day , two hours after opening. (Because it said to give them one hour to get order ready, which is fair enough.) Only to find order hadn't been picked and one of the two items wasn't in stock which it said it was online! . Very disappointed and had to source item elsewhere. First time I've used GSF and probably the last ! .

Normally good service but I was rather disappointed when I went to pick up my vw t4 back box that it had been dropped and was damaged, I pointed out the damage but was offered no discount or alternative part. I took the part out of desperation as I needed my van back on the road and had to dress out the damage with a hammer and dolly to make the joints useable. Also the part was for a lwb van so needed cutting down for my swb van. So not even the right part was supplied. Im usually impressed by GSF but highly unimpressed this time around.

Part supplied (which took 3 days to arrive at Portsmouth branch) was in a box which had already been opened and a component (rubber boot) removed. I'd already paid when I discovered this. Hence needed to come back again to pick up the complete part, wasting time and fuel and delaying the repair due to inadequate checking at the warehouse and at the point of sale.

Part supplied was faulty and they didn't have a replacement in stock. I couldn't wait for a replacement to be ordered (had to get mobile), so I had to cut my own thread on a stud (clearly didn't go through the manufactures quality control) so I could use the part. Didn't even apologise for the hassle. Were happy to order a new one in, but that was 2 days away.

I received an email to say there was a weekend deal at 60% off. I ordered brake pads and service kit. The pads I received were wrong as they were approx 5mm out. I went to my local car spares who confirmed the pads were wrong and gave me the correct set. I checked their prices as I was there and they were approx. the same as what I paid. Not knocking the service but the offers are misleading and wrong parts are very inconvenient when a cars dismantled on the driveway.

i ordered brake discs and collected them and asked if they were the correct ones for my car and the man in the shop said yes, but they were not so had to go back to the shop to replace with DEARER ones, so not happy as unnecessary trips up and down to the shop which is not that local to me so wasted fuel and time.....

I did an online book and collect for some filters to service the wifes car and mine. Called into Smethwick office to collect, terrible service and staff, shocking attitude and eventually I walked out with out any thing i had asked for. had to go back online and order it for delivery, delivery service was brilliant parts arrived in good condition and in good time too. shame about the staff at smethwick that know nothing about customer service and attitudes that stinks

Friendly service in the Colchester store but was given the wrong parts which was beyond inconvenient when the car was at the garage and in pieces in the air (they took my reg and we’re adamant these were the right parts). The Chelmsford bunch weren’t so friendly when I tried to return them. Guy on counter was nice... chap behind the glass was clearly pi**ed off.. so I reminded him that I was probably more annoyed than him. So, not a great experience. 2*’s purely due to actually getting the refund and the 2 nice people I dealt with.

Waited 6 days for an item that never arrived they said they would send me a refund 2 days later still waiting. Never had a problem before all of a sudden they seem to have gone to pot. Off to Euro Car Parts i think.

I ordered two bottles of DOT 4 as I needed it for my daily reliant car, after 3 days beyond the expected delivery date my order status said it had been delivered. I didn’t not find out that my order was in fact destroyed before I got it, which made me wonder if was even going to be informed but I did get my order eventually but I had to use 4 of my holiday/time off days from work as I couldn’t get to work and no compensation has been offered for the inconvenience which I find to a minor annoyance

The fuel pump I ordered was sent quickly, however the pump sent did not match the picture/description. I paid £25 for a pump that was apparently reduced in a sale from £60 something pounds, what I was sent was a cheap pump that other suppliers sell for around £15 - £20 that does not fit my vehicle without adaptions. Fuel pump was returned for a refund which was given without any problems

Bought some brake pads which turned out to be the wrong ones even though I supplied my car registration plate. Bought online so I could do a straight forward return in store. Seems to be queue no matter what time you go the shop with one person usually serving.
