“Poor quality parts”

“Waited 5 days for 48hr delivery not to arrive. Then random PayPal refund emails, per item, began to appear. No explanation email from GSF though. Rang them, only then to be told that the parcel was damaged in transit and had been returned to them. They did manage to transfer order to local branch after 20 mins on phone, and I then had to drive there to pick it up and pay for it all over again. Pretty poor process, overall, in my opinion.”

“Kept waiting while ,guy on till was chatting to his mate, at the garage about non work related stuff. Was generally unhelpful about old battery disposa( i realise you dont take them back , but no advice.) Pretty poor service really.”

“Click and collect was great and the staff were great but item came in a ripped open box. Once I got home I found that several parts were missing so they will be returned”

“Don't believe the info regarding parts as the coolant temp switches I bought stated they came with o ring seals so I bought them only to find out niether came with seals also packaging had come unsealed on arrival, so I personally thought it was pretty rubbish service really I have apparently been given a 20% refund but I still have to go out and buy o ring seals, oh well sought I will bother buying anymore of these from gsf.”

“Went in to the Reading branch to get a sump plug for my vehicle recently. Was told I could only have the copper washer. I pointed out that I was able to buy the whole plug from them only a few months ago. No longer available I was told. Went home and found it online, ordered it click and collect and picked it up from Reading branch! Not pleased with service.”

“Hi wasn't really happy as I booked collection for my parts via your website, when I arrived at your site I been told that they don't that parts so had to go to another shop to get it, however staff was professional and helpful”

“Tried to buy a windscreen washer pump for and A4B6, web page showed 2 but no photo or accurate information, ordered cheapest which turned out not to have the Audi-specific connection (even though diagram on web page showed the shape) but very helpful staff at Reading branch told me was "universal" and offered to get the more costly one which had a different fitting - but also not to fit A4B6 !!! In the end had to bodge connection. So - rubbish parts and description on website, but very helpful staff at Reading branch”

“Got sent faculty goods, we got our money back but they would not return out battery that was leaking acid. We were told that we would have to return it. We found this very unacceptable as this could cause burns to ourselves. We asked that the manager would phoned us, we are still waiting for the call. Very disappointed with this. Not sure if we will buy off GSF again. Thank you.”

“Its a shame really, the service I received was very helpful and informative, but the delivery packaging was terrible and just not good enough, the parts were just lose in a box banging together on the mating faces, the box was ripped and open by the time I received it - come on guys you can do better.”

“I used online chat to confirm the parts, the wrong items were sent I confirmed online they didn't understand so had to drive to local store to swap the brakes to correct ones. Online cost me a lot of time”
