You overcharged for rides when I research how far and how much it would cost it was $13 but every day I’m paying almost $20 to go 11 miles. That’s ridiculous. Terrible.

My wife has had a bad day at Ottery in Cape Town Uber driver called Williams driving a Silver Suzuki swift registration number. CY 111729 was very rude to the lady.

I raised a complaint because a driver refused to take me and my friends to our destination because we has luggage and Uber then had the audacity to charge me a cancellation fee for THEIR drivers refusal. Then then proceeded to close the case because I had "cancelled" a request on the same day (before a driver had been found) but ignored the fact that I had paid £21.99 after that. I calledand they fobbed me off by telling me a supervisor will call back and no one did. I will proceed to cancel my account after almost a decade and use BOLT as my sole service provider

I booked a scheduled ride for today due my truck being in the shop. I booked it the day of at like 5AM so they had plenty of time to assign a driver, paid it and everything. I got a driver assigned to the pickup I got ready to leave for work and everything. Then I get a notification when I get out of the shower and it said that I had been dropped and there was no drivers available. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I SCHEDULE A RIDE! I’ve been trying with support for over an hour now to get a ride out here to get me because I don’t live in a popular area. Needless to say, I had to call work and say I’d be late, but now I got charged 75.00 for an uber direct now, and out way more money just to get to work. Do better Uber….

Not only does Uber charge, in my opinion, excessive booking fees, reservation fees, they then charge toll fees for tollways you didn't take. They aren't removing the toll fees. Bad business.

Uber support does not care about the drivers or their vehicles. I had a rider that requested a totally different Route, then what uber had given me on a back road that wasn't safe. I refused and they gave me a low score and then uber, put a warning on my account. They are spineless they are the worst

I’m only doing Uber to pay off debt and its getting increasingly harder to work for Uber and the customer service is horrible. Within the past week I’ve had numerous reservations come through with incorrect information. Once the AI assistant amended my fair, the second time a Supervisor said I wasn’t the only driver complaining about the same issue and she adjusted the rate. Now this is the third time talking to them this week about the same issue and now no one wants to assist because on their end I accepted the trip at the rate they paid me. You MUST take screenshots of reservations so that you can prove to them their system is incorrect! Its like they are doubling the trip fare to make the reservation enticing for the driver, we accept the trip and expect a certain fair. We then only get a portion of the promised fair! Isnt this false advertisement? Isnt this like being employed, working at an agreed amount rate then getting your pay and its less than whats agreed upon? Can anything be done about this?

Ordered food at ridicules markup. Food never arrived. Called to complain and they refunded money except for the 20% tip. Customer support said they can’t refund tips. Never give drive tip until food is delivered. Scam do not use.

Uber Never Turned up Uber message: prebook for peace of mind!!! Pre Booked a cab well ahead of time. Uber confirmed booking only to be informed very close to the departure time that there is no driver available!!!! Had to take the bus to the airport. Could have missed our bus!!! No other cabs were available too at a short notice. Total panic Totally unreliable!!! Be careful . The cab might never turn up!!!!!

I started driving for Uber only because I lost my job and needed to make ends meet. But honestly, this experience has been nothing short of draining and dehumanizing. Most weekends, I’ve had to deal with rude and abusive passengers—people shouting, slamming doors, or treating me like I’m less than human. At times, I genuinely felt unsafe, especially during late hours. And what’s worse? Uber does nothing to support drivers in these situations. It’s all about the customer, no matter how they behave. The pay is nowhere near worth the stress. After fuel, maintenance, and taxes, you’re barely left with anything. Uber takes a huge cut while drivers take on all the risk. It feels like modern-day slavery masked under “flexibility.” There’s no respect, no real protection, and no future in this. If you’re thinking of driving for Uber, think twice—your time, health, and dignity are worth more.

So uber now has the right to charge you whatever they want although you agree to a specific fee when requesting a ride. After fighting for a compensation or to at least get the fee I was informed that I would be charged adjusted, they refunded less than the amount that they were supposed to. I work hard for my money and when it’s taken without authority it’s unfair and should be corrected. They claim since one of their employees refunded me( the incorrect amount) they can’t look further into the situation

Totally misleading offers. They give you a 50% discount but the driver mever applied the offer. When you ask for a refund they just give you the money into credits or uber cash, while they should return the money in your bank account, because you did not pay the right amount in the first place. Customer support is non-existent and completly rude. Thy send you draft messages and they mark the conversation as completed, without amswering your questions. No way to make a formal complaint. 4 days now and my issue has not been resolved. Avoid at all costs, at least in Greece

I’ve been a loyal Uber customer for years with a 4.9 rider rating, and as a disabled American woman, I’ve relied heavily on this service to help me navigate a world not built with people like me in mind. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with Uber’s customer service have been increasingly disappointing. It’s become clear that the company is no longer invested in supporting long-term customers, especially those of us with accessibility needs. I’ve felt dismissed, unsupported, and like just another number in a billion-dollar business. As someone who already faces daily challenges, this lack of care makes an even bigger impact. I’m a human being, and I deserve to be treated like one. I hope Uber takes real steps to improve how they support disabled riders, but in the meantime, I’ll be exploring alternatives like @Lyft in hopes of finding a more respectful and responsive experience. Do better, Uber.

Do not use UBER! Something has changed in their company and there is no longer any Customer Support number! I always used them and had no problem. But today I had to pay $22 for a 2 mile ride and then I saw they charged me an extra $96!! I have been on the phone all morning trying to reach CS who then referred me to the website, who then the website referred me to another…. I can’t believe this! I’m so disappointed! I had to finally call my bank to let them know the $96 they charged is fraudulent!

My Uber ride use to be $13 now it’s $25 daily back and forth to work and when the rates are “usually higher than normal” it’s $56 one way. It’s only a 10 minute ride. I want the $13 rate go 5 miles up the street again. Come on now uber.

The driver I recently had intentionally turned the wrong way taking me the opposite direction I was heading. When I pointed this out to the driver he refused to turn around. He purposefully took me the wrong direction for several miles. I was terrified thinking I was being kidnapped. Uber support was of no help. After this review I'll be deleting their app for my phone and using Lyft from now on.
