We had to book an uber 3 times (first 2 timed out). The third time the driver showed up, my husband leaned in to confirm, the driver shook his head and drove off??!! We wrote uber, First time they said basically “tough, it happens”. We are seniors. I wrote back and said I wanted to review the driver. Told no go. We didn’t take the ride so we can’t rate him. But they would give us a 5£ credit. It is now over a week later and we never got the credit. What a scam to get rid of us. When I wrote back to say I didn’t receive the credit, they ignored me.

Took Uber from my home to the airport this week (Sept 2022). Didn't realise I had to tell the driver to take a non toll route which we could have done as we had plenty of time to do so. Maybe it's my fault. I ended up being charged extra $13 for tolls on the trip and then reservation charges and something else. Ended up having to pay $20 more than the original quote. Uber does not have anywhere in its website to complain about this sort of thing. I'm really upset.

I was picked up late in the evening. As the driver pulled up to my house, I told her to pull up behind my husband's vehicle so she didn't block the side street. She drove a few feet further as if she didn't hear me - and proceeded to block the road. A car was waiting for her to move out of the way. She got very flustered - yanked my suitcase out of her trunk and took off. My backpack containing my wallet, charger, and epilepsy medication was still in her car. I managed to catch her at the end of my street - I was running, shouting, waving my arms. She either ignored me or didn't see me. I promptly called uber support which connected me to her. She wouldn't answer so I left a message. She never responded to me. I called her a few times the following morning before she finally picked up. Her excuse was, she turned off her alerts or whatever when she went into the grocery store less than a block away from my house to use the restroom. She said she then picked up another passenger (her uber "app" was off so she never received calls or messages... but she picked up another client right after me....??). She said she realized the mistake when the passenger handed her my backpack thinking it was hers. I was frustrated but let her know that I could meet her in a parking lot or a public place near where she lived so she didn't have to go out of her way to bring me my backpack. She declined and brought it back to me that even. Despite all of this, I was still charged a $15 return bag fee. One of my medications was missing from the backpack. I wrote several emails explaining all this to Uber support, and they just kept sending back the patented response that my driver had to go out of her way to return my bag. I will never use or Uber again.

I am uber eats delivery partner who has legit visa with which i have my full time job and uber eats documents reviewer has rejected official document saying NZTA guidline. I feel pitty guys that you even dont know which document to verify with immigration and which with NZTA. Such a shame.

I have only used uber a couple of times. The last time i used them was on April 17, 2021. I ordered an Uber and it never came. I waited outside for 30 mins in the dark and then had to walk home in the dark. Not only was I charged once for no service provided but twice. Paypal reversed the two charges as I never received the service. I have not used them since and when i looked at the app those two charges are still there.. So i contacted Uber through the chat. After wasting 15 mins chatting with "Jam", he said he was getting customer service to email me, and he abruptly ended the conversation without even saying goodbye. That aside, I still have not received an email. If this is the customer service that Uber provides, perhaps i will continue taking cabs. I am not sure why i was charged twice for no service.. and it isn't about the money. It's about the principle. I don't have a problem sharing this on google reviews either. I am in customer service and this is a complete lack of it.

I didn’t receive my full order, I only received one thing and I ordered 5 things. I contacted uber support right away and they didn’t respond to me until 6 hours later. They said they would let the merchant know what they could do better, they did not help me at all so I messaged again and they said they could not give me a refund because of their policy, but then I saw they give refunds for missing items on there uber help website. This message was again 10 hours later I sent my message and then when I went to message them again it said I was out of the time frame for a refund because I didn’t message in time but I messaged right after my order was “delivered” and they took forever to respond making me not be “eligible” for a refund and still did not help me nor give a refund. Am I suppose to pay for something I didn’t even receive? I am very disappointed with this service, I thought they would follow their website and make it right.

Absolutely appalling support from uber eats. Order is late, I ring the restaurant, they said they have not started my order and it will be another 30-45min so I ask to cancel. They cancel the order and uber still charge me even though they haven't started. The support team say because they have to compensate the vendor for starting? But they did not start so uber have stolen £25 from me and refuse to take it further. Advice is "in future to cancel the order before the vendor accepts" not really applicable in this case. What are you meant to do stay up all night just in case your order shows up? The patronising tone of the support was so out of touch. I won't be using them in future and strongly encourage no one else to either. There are many more alternative vendors who do not steal from you.

Uber One Scam: Somehow got hooked into and Uber One Scam & didn't order it. Discovered they were withdrawing money monthly on month 3. They said they would refund one month, then it never happened. They did not refund the 1st 2. Support basically just closed the chat when I tried to get my money back. Total scammers. Will never use Uber again.

I'm just shocked about the .3. I wish I could give less than one. I've been trying to become an Uber driver for about three months now. There are always problems with the documents and I'm not sure what. I call their help line and never get the same twice. That is, when you can understand what they're saying through their heavily accented, broken English. I don't think "infuriating" is a strong enough of a term. I give up. I decided to sign on with Lyft, and it took less than a week.

I have been trying to reach Uber about an issue for 2 days. They used to have great customer service. It seems the only way to contact Uber for help is follow a series of categories that doesn't fit my issue (not even close), then you leave a message and do not receive a reply. I had close to a 50% tip added to my ride without my authorization. I have used Uber for years and know how the system works. I may have to give Lyft another try after all these years. Help system needs to be fixed. I am currently number 10 in the chat line. Chat ended previously because I looked away from my computer for 30 seconds.

Support team have no clue how to solve a problem. I have a problem as my orders are not confirming. whereas they tell me the following solution. 1. Log out of the application and log back in. 2. Force quit the app. (On an iOS device, double tap the home button, swipe up on the app card, and then reopen the app. On an Android device, press and hold the power button until the device turns off, then press the power button again to turn your device back on. 3. Restart your phone. 4. Upload the newest version of the app. If you still have issues after trying these steps, try resetting your network settings. On most phones, you can do this by going to your phone’s general settings. your system is not processing the order. why do I need to reset my system??I have tried on multiple devices yet same result. All I get it we got your order!!!!! no delivery though!!

All aps closed on my phone.. phone asleep & Timed out LOCKED. Pattern needed to open phone. Phone in my pocket.... I get home from riding a bike and get a cancellation fee from Uber ?? Driver cancelled ?? ThenYou get Uber cash Back WTF. ! IM SICK OF IT .

Why is it impossible to change something as simple as a freaking profile picture! I called three times and the first time the guy I was speaking to hung up on me. They told to me send a request to change my profile picture so I send it explaining that I need to change the picture so it can reflect me (is not an actual picture of me) and allow me to deliver food. I write in the request multiple times that the picture is not of me and does not reflect what I actually look like and they freaking tell me that “it seems to match your rider pfp so you can’t change it” I had to then call for the 3rd time about a freaking profile picture for them to only tell me to make another written request to change my profile picture. Whoever decided to make it this difficult to change a profile picture is Satan himself I swear to god I’ve never seen such a complicated mess over changing a profile picture. Still waiting as this issue has still not been resolved after 3 days. Patrick was a complete jerk and hung up on me and the lady I’m talking to know seems to care but can’t do anything but tell me to make another request, have I found hell?

I just had the most stressful conversation of my 34 year life. Trying to get paid $150 that is missing from my trips in a Tesla. They responded to every question I asked, with a question. 2 hours on the phone now and still no resolution. In my opinion, Uber support is the absolute worst support people I have EVER dealt with.

I would give a negative if I could. I have been driving 3 weeks. Love driving and really enjoy my customers ( our customers). I am unable to receive reservations ( 1 problem) and love the idea of upfront fares ( as I am currently driving all over town burning miles and gas as the app presently doesn’t tell me where I am dropping riders off until I show up to get them. When I call customer support I encounter a bunch of very polite and friendly agents who have absolutely no idea how Uber works. I first sent a series of email threads ( which apparently the agents can’t see). I am told my area doesn’t have reservations, yet some of my passengers made reservations. I learn this when I arrive at their house 5 min early and have to wait until the reserved time has come. I have been getting weekly emails about upfront fares which would be a huge benefit, but when I inquired about when it is arriving ( I live in upstate New York) I am told a flurry of erroneous information. For example, I was told that upfront fares are only for Uber eats. I was then told that they only work with reservations ( see above -“ we don’t take reservations”), or my personal favorite, “Can you send me the emails that you are receiving from us? I am not sure what you are referring to.” Again, the driving gig is fun, and the technology is insanely advanced. Given this, why is calling customer service a replay of the old Abbott and Costello act “Who’s on first?” If you are of the younger generation, YouTube it!

Uber Support was very responsive, but they didn't answer my question. Several responses were obviously boilerplate language and didn't apply to my question (I didn't ask for a refund and I wasn't questioning a charge). My question was why is the upfront price (UFP) for my scheduled and Uber Reserve rides $46.85 regardless of the distance. Nine responses, zero answers.

They charged me twice for two rides $34 dollars a piece losing out on almost $70 bucks, Uber sucks… As well as poor customer service
