NEVER AGAIN! Booked purple parking through holiday extras for 1 week at Gatwick. Put registration, make and model into the search engine and it came up with quote for £85.99 for 1 week, and had good reviews so I booked. When I arrived, I was told that because it was a truck, we had to pay an extra £25 per day to park it. Apparently it says this in the small print, but I didn’t see this when booking. I would have expected the quote to be accurate given that I entered the make and model (that would have been a good time to give an accurate quote…) they reduced the fee to £20 per day, but refused to refund for us to go elsewhere. Would have been cheaper and a lot easier to have paid for valet parking at the actual airport rather than be ripped off and have to sit on a bus for 15 mins to and from the terminal.

No signage that we could see at Heathrow Terminal 3 car park. Saw signs for Level 1 for meet & greet on entry but this was for another meet & greet. Ask a car park attendant for directions and he suggested we try Level 4. Still no signs but we parked up and headed towards desk near the lifts. And there you were. Will never use you at T3 again

No seats available upon arrival. One beer choice only so if you didn’t like that……tough. Wine choice very poor, and poor quality. Food average and miserable staff. For nearly £100 for 2 people there are far better, cheaper places to go with far more selection. Avoid.

The car hire company (Surprice) have poor instructions to get to the off site office from the airport. The car had over 70000 kms on the clock and the cigarette lighter was the only way to charge a mobile phone (this was the second car, as the 1st car of similar vintage had a broken cigarette lighter). Wasn't a cheap price, either. Somewhat surprises given we had used Surprice before. Maybe they save their worst cars for Holiday Extras?

Trying to find a parking space when we arrived was a nightmare, there are huge potholes everywhere and we waited 30 minutes for the bus to pick us up. When we arrived yesterday, we waited 45 minutes for the bus to pick us up. Would never use again

I arrived at 10pm for my check in, which should have been available from 3pm. My room wasn't ready - it hadn't been cleaned. I'd left home at 3pm & just needed my accommodation prior to a flight. Eventually at 11:30pm I was told that my room was ready. This location is right under flight paths, so very little sleep too. I usually book a different location, but their prices were 50% more than usual. Whilst I wouldn't pay that increase in price in the future either, I will not be booking this location again.

We were left at the airport because the plane was delayed after being told by the driver he would wait had to phone the driver and he said he left without telling us he was leaving

We stayed at the thistle in Luton . On arrival we had to pay £10 for parking at the hotel. The hotel explained that the way they take the money for parking was broken and we could therefore park for free . However we have now received a parking ticket for £100 . We slept terribly as all night doors banged . The hotel is not even that convenient for airport .

The aspire lounge was a waste of money, poor selection of food and staff were miserable. Escape lounge is so much better.

I booked with Holiday Extras as they were a well known company and I presumed that meant I'd be looked after if anything went wrong. How wrong I was! Absolutely shocking customer service! Our flight to Tunisia had to make an emergency landing in Paris due to a passenger needing emergency medical assistance. After 3 hours on the runway, we were told that we'd have to turn round and go back to Manchester and the replacement flight wouldn't be until the following day. I contacted holiday extras as soon as we landed to inform them and check that the driver could still meet us the next day when the flight eventually landed. I was told that this wasn't possible. I then asked for a refund instead, but was told that because I hadn't let them know 24 hours in advance, they couldn't do that either! So at the end of a very long and stressful day, I then had to try and sort a new transfer with a different company and lost the £40 that I'd paid to Holiday Extras! If the transfer provider checked the arrival time, they would've known that the flight was seriously delayed, so presumably they never even travelled to the airport. Moral of the story.. if you're 100% sure that your flight will arrive on time, then feel free to book with this company. But if you want someone that won't leave you stranded in a foreign airport if you're unlucky enough to have a delay, then cut out the middle man and book directly with a company at your destination. You'll get a better service and not be paying Holiday Extras cut on top!

Long queue at 5.45 am with one agent checking in then 20 mins until the bus was full then stops at T2 & T3 before T5 so from check in to T5 nearly an hour!!

Hotel was awful, rooms not cleaned sufficiently and was outdated, receptionist was not around for about 10 minutes waiting to check in. No one supports arranging the taxi to and from airport, just a list of recommended taxis, this is not explained on your website. I don’t wish to leave bad reviews but this hotel is not worthy of any stars and this includes lack of customer service.

Went to the wrong car park ended up paying for parking that I didn’t use. Partly my fault but the website implied that it was the Airport Parking and that didn’t really help

Missed our fligh due to accident ,, Paid £130 for car park and told no refund dispite not useing our booking , Would not allow us to change the date for the new flights ,, Very unfair and just want the cash .

We were allocated West multi storey 2 but were flying from terminal 3 at least a 20 minute walk humping all our luggage from one end of these 3 massive terminals to the other only that we arrived early and did not get stuck in traffic we were just in time to catch our flight.

Hotel great no problem, car parking firm left rear window slightly open and rain got in making rear seat wet, fortunately no damage was done
