I booked in October for 1 Week at £119. You then send me an email save up to 70% for booking. I went to book again for November and the price was £119. I feel you miss represent prices by sending out emails offering impossible offers.

I booked extra wide space car parking because I have a bigger than average car only to find that the car park was full and no entry available so parked in regular one. No specific landmarks or numbered stops for ease of finding car on return and bus took half hour to arrive at airport pick up point on a wet Edinburgh afternoon. Automatic number plate recognition didn’t work either.I only tried this facility because of the wide spaces so will definitely return to using secure air parks which are much more professional.

Arrived at the car park to a scene best described as chaotic. Waited over 10 mins to be greeted. On return, despite phoning immediately after immigration, had to wait over 10 minutes for car to be brought back. You buy meet and greet for a hassle free experience, I just bought hassle.

My car was returned to me with scratches all along the passenger side it was filthy with mud all over the rear, tyres and lower of the car it had been moved to where ever with more mileage than when I left it at the Silver zone car park and it also smelt of some one had been smoking in my car and I am not a smoker. I have lodged a complaint with the manager and Bristol airport. My first instincts were NOT to use this car parking system but changed my mind at the last minute. Would NOT recommend this car park. I will never use it again.

The number plate recognition system did not work. After a long delay, it was reported to me that only part of the registration number of my car had been recorded in the booking!!!!

We missed our connecting flight due to a delay in Male. I called the hotel first to tell them what had happened and they said, no problem, get hold of holiday extras and ask them to change it as they couldn’t do without authorisation. I had an online chat with holiday extras as I couldn’t find a number to call. I was told that because the booking was already running (as we had parking at the hotel included ) that it couldn’t be changed. What a load of rubbish! We had to drive 4 hours to get home after a 24 hour delay. Certainly won’t be recommending. Very poor customer service.

Can only reiterate what the comments are below about Mayday Assistance who run the 24 hour Emergency phone line for Holiday Extras Travel Insurance. My wife broke her wrist in Spain; rang Mayday numerous times and phone either not answered or cut off. Eventually got through to someone who said they were "in reception" and would get someone to ring me back. You can guess the rest. The only contact we had was a "welfare call" after 4 days to ask how my wife was. God help you if you are bleeding to death or in a serious accident - don't ring Mayday! Completely hopeless. Suggest Holiday Extras get a more efficient company to run their "24 Hour Emergency Help Line."

All seems good until you need to claim.. Had an operation abroad, phoned Holiday Extras and was told to call Medical Team instead to approve my claim. Fair enough.. Unfortunately Mayday Assistance wasn't very helpful either! Sent all paperwork from hospital in regards to my condition etc. and never get a response from them. Had to email / call several times (never had a phone call back!) Every time they were telling me that their medical team is working on my case. I had to organize accommodation for my family myself while i was in hospital, had to organize transport for my wife to go to and from hospital, had to book my return flights myself, had to arrange my fit to fly certificate etc. etc. Had to do it all myself while i was in hospital. Unnecessary stress and hassle for me and my family, not what you would expect when you in a serious medical condition and you need some help from your insurance! Back to UK now and even now there's no response neither from Holiday Extras or Mayday assistance. Every time i call them, they just say that they are still investigating my case. Sent several emails to Holiday Extras asking to call me back (as there's no direct number to call them), but only received shabby email back saying that they can see there's an ongoing claim on my account! I KNOW THIS! I need some help and answers on what to do next! They just don't care so i am giving up. Contacted my solicitor and we are building a case against them as we have all required documents from GP, Hospital and private doctor etc. I will not spend another minute trying to contact them as it seems they are only after your money! UPDATE 04/10/2023 - still don't have my compensation.. They keep asking for things like translate the receipts to English as they don't have facilities to do so! Done that, and only received just over £100! No compensation for the flights, traveling, accommodation etc. After contacting them, they ignored me for over 2 weeks.. and now they are asking to provide the invoices again!! I have sent ALL invoices back in August! Got an email after i left this review saying that they will look into this and will get back to me.. Guess what? NO CONTACT been made! Was definitely not expecting this approach from Holiday Extras! God knows how much longer i will need to fight..

I have used this company before and had a better experience but this time was not great at all. I was charged £75 extra as my car was a pickup and the whole process of drop off and collection was incredibly long winded. In retrospect it would have been cheaper to park directly at the airport and cut out the hassle. I’ll do that next time.

Purple parking used to be great with transfers either direct to terminal 2 and 3 and another direct to terminal 5 now they use one bus means you have to go and return via all terminals would not recommend

Don't ever use these. I travelled alone with my 2 boys, first time ever abroad for us, I paid £80 upfront to park my car for a week. on return to the car park after my holiday at 3am. I was made to pay £229 to be able to leave the car park, I've sent Holiday Extras 5 messages, they have no customerservice number, live chat doesn't work. so nothing at all has been done. please don't lose money like I did. I had no money for groceries when we got home because of the extra cost. I had to loan from family. you just cannot contact anyone if anything goes wrong. so cost me £300 to park my car for the week.

We booked Jet parks 1 at Manchester airport because it stated the car park only serviced terminal 2. When we were picked up by bus at the car park it went to all 3 terminals arriving at terminal 2 last. On our return a week later we waited over an hour for the bus to collect us from terminal 2 the driver stated he had been stuck at terminal 1 . The service provided by Jet park1 is very poor as it does not provide a direct transfer to terminal 2, we won’t be booking it again !!

We arrived at Montreal airport after a long transatlantic flight to be informed that that car we had booked and paid for was not available and Hertz had no cars to offer. They said they were overbooked and would have no cars available for the next two days and could not obtain cars from other Hertz locations. They were unable to offer a refund. To continue our holiday we had to rent a car from Budget at a considerably higher walk up price.

They only have 1 mini bus. Had to wait 45 minutes to get dropped off at airport. Then on the return we had to wait 30 minutes in heavy rain. Would not recommend
