I place an order for a shed. It was expected to be ready for pick up three days ago and they still haven’t received it. Regrets are settling in. I don’t expect to do much with HD in the future. 👎

I had ordered a gas dryer on Sept 1 at Store #4129. The employee at the store was helpful and knowledgeable. I was expecting my dryer to be delivered on 9/7/2023. I was only given the option for delivery. The delivery driver called me at 5pm and told me he was an hour away. I told him that was okay, I am home and waiting. I got a TEXT from the store at 615pm informing me the dryer was undeliverable now. Unfortunately I found this unacceptable since I verbally spoke to the driver 75 minutes prior. I called the store and asked if I could pick my dryer up at the store or warehouse but I was told “no”. I was given no reason what happened as to why the dryer couldn’t be delivered, I was just told I would have to reschedule. I went to the store and canceled my order at 740pm that evening since I had no explanation. I DO NOT recommend appliance delivery from Home Depot.

As a longtime customer I wish I had read reviews before recommending my Cousin buy an appliance from Home Depot in Jasper AL. It was delivered damaged and rejected. HD warehouse is only 40 miles away and they cannot deliver one for over a week. She is living out of ice chests. She is a widow, 73 years old with rods in her back, stage 3 kidney failure and raising an adopted son in school. Home Depot could have had their delivery company use 2 men and a pickup truck and deliver a fridge from the warehouse in 2 hours. Sadly no customer concern.

Purchased 3 appliances from Home Depot (refrigerator, stove and dishwasher) and delivery service was a disgrace. I paid for the removal of all 3 appliances. They damaged my front entrance by shoving my used refrigerator out my front and storm door scratching my front door and storm door glass as well as bending the door opener and chipped moulding. Now dealing with Home Depot Insurance (Sedgwick) which is another nightmare. Agent does not respond. This is so unacceptable as a consumer.

I had a gas range delivered to my home. The delivery man, Juan, only wanted to drop the box off and leave- which he did. He did not install the LP converter or the burners. He did not even unbox the range. Home Depot should fire his lazy ass

I purchased a stoved a HD witch was damage during delivery. They have a 48hrs policy to open the box and report any damage. My house was under construction I couldn’t open anything by the time. Once I opened the box I realized the range was damage and neither LG or HD would take responsibility for it. They insist in the 48hr policy witch I think is not enough time. It use to be 14 days. Anyways here I am with a brand new broken stove that I can not use. It is really irritating.

Purchased a Chamberlain garage door opener from Home Depot online. When it arrived it was missing the two hanging brackets. I spent about an hour on the phone between HD and Chamberlain-who would not even answer their phone! The second call to HD I spoke with an Oriental lady who told me she would need my cc number and they would reimburse me in 3-5 days. By this point I was so mad I told her I would either return it to the closest store or go to their competitor Lowes and buy the perforated angle to make the brackets.

Purchased a cooktop from Home Depot. GE 36” was not as advertised. To small. Went to return less than 24 hours later. Would not exchange even though policy’s stated 48 hours on major appliances. I am out $800. Will never it has from Home Depot again!

This addresses tool rental area...DONT RENT HERE. Plain and simply, they will not give you guidance on rental item, they do not start or show you steps, they point you to YouTube. OK, I did that, but not on the model I had rented. OH!!! And the paint sprayer ended up not working, when I returned it they didnt offer to show me how to operate replacement rental, just wanted to get it in my car. I chose not to go through all that, since I had already lost an hour or so. So me and the family are rolling and brushing the exterior of our house, I'm 65 and this is not how I wanted to spend vacay days. Also, I used debit card and they keep your cash for 7 to 10 days before refunding (guessing they need that interest) But bottom line HD has had a 2 out of 10 rating for overall service, or a '10' for 'lack of' I went in that same day to buy my paint there and left because of no help.

The worse store to try and do business and be in and out in reasonable time; 1. They had empty shelves for often used product I needed. Each associate sent me to a different part of the store. 2. I'm a veteran and Home depot regardless of what they say does not treat Veterans with respect. They would not believe I'm a Veteran even though years ago I gave them my DD214. Then recently my drivers license that in Florida will state if your a Veteran. 3, Too many other complaints. Poorly run operation.

Beverage frig came with a large dent in the side of the frig, was obvious with dent in the outer box. The pickup for return never showed up the next day. I called again and the agent told me the UPS pickup slip was never created properly. We waited home all day with the box on the front porch, never showed up. Now I’m waiting again tomorrow and it’s another 3-5 days for my refund because they need the merchandise inspected first. What a nightmare, never again nd canceling my Homedepot credit card. Poor service.

I will never do business with Home Depot again. Bought a washer and dryer was supposed to be delivered on Saturday figured I would check status online as I heard nothing. It was delayed until Tuesday called was told truck came in late, asked why I got no notification email text etc..: so I agreed to let them deliver on Tuesday. Tuesday came no communication the online port showed delivery for today but it was like it wasn’t out for delivery so I call again and am told our address didn’t come up so it wasn’t being delivered today l. I asked why there was no communication to me again no answer as to why. But they offered to deliver it a week later I declined and asked if I could pick it up and they said that wasn’t an option so I canceled my order. Never will spend another dollar with Home Depot ever again for anything. The customer service was terrible and the process they operate by is unbelievably bad. But your appliances from Best Buy Lowe’s Conns anywhere but Home Depot you will be thankful you did.

I ordered a refrigerator to be delivered, but it has been sitting in a warehouse for 5 days past the originally scheduled date. Apparently, getting products to the customer isn’t part of the deal. Will never order from them again.

My husband and I purchased a refrigerator in July. Our delivery date was set for Aug 16th. When we got home, my husband noticed that the delivery address was not correct, we got back in our car and went back to the store, to the customer service desk and they said they corrected it. Well, they did not, we are without a refrigerator, and it was supposed to be delivered today. We are being told is won't be delivered until next week at the earliest. We are Senior's and My husband is no well. A suggestion was that we go buy a drome frig in the meantime at home depo. Really, I need to pay more money to their mess up. No one called to confirm the our address before delivery. We found 20 mins before the delivery. They can't deliver because of protocol, which I get, but why can't they pick up the phone to get this corrected. The customer service person by the name of "Phil" Tried to fix it, but I asked to speak to his supervisor and never did. Worst customer service. Considering cancelling my order and going to Lowes and see if they can do better. Very unhappy. Always to to home depo, Moving to Lowes

We ordered a number of appliances online through Home Depot. They delivered most of them, but the washer dryer got delayed. They scheduled a new delivery date/confirmation, but as the new date got closer we did not get any information about the delivery window. We decided to call, and found out that they did not reschedule our delivery. They told us we needed to cancel the order and re-submit to actually get our appliances. They told us they would refund us via gift card and then we could call to re-order and still get the same prices/deals we originally got. Today, a week later, we found that they refunded us to our credit card despite us specifically requesting a gift card and they will not be able to honor the pricing because "the vendor doesn't allow that." I will NEVER be purchasing anything beyond plants and potting soil from Home Depot ever again. Very disappointed, and do not recommend purchasing anything of value from this store.

I found it impossible to find out my window for an appliance delivery without calling my local store, in spite of multiple assurances that I would get a robocall with that information. Then when my refrigerator was delivered they wouldn't switch the doors to open on the other side; the guy who brought it in kept saying that wasn't recommended. I called Home Depot's warranty people to see whether having someone else switched the doors those would still be under warranty; they said no, but that would be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and transferred me to them. Those people said they only covered manufacturing defects and Home Depot had to do it. So I called the local office where I paid for it and thought I had gotten it set up to be switched three days later, and was again promised a robocall. No such luck, and the same person who helped me before called them again and gave me another four-hour window, this time with the caveat that they might not make it. It's in the upper 90s here and I live in a west-facing apartment without AC that turns into an oven in the summer. I won't be able to open windows until around 8-8:30 tonight if then. If I don't get it taken care of tomorrow I have no idea how many more times I'll be stuck here sweating, looking like I've been in the rain. I'm in my 70s so being stuck in high heat is not healthy. If I had had any idea that I was going to go through all this and still not know when or if it's going to be taken care of I would have spent another $111 plus tax at Lowe's, had it delivered locally in two days instead of over three weeks, and gotten the doors switched during delivery. Needless to say I won't be buying another appliance from Home Depot.
